I've just got around to putting my pedal board together and you go do something like this!? Dammit Jeremy! I was hoping to stop spending money on amps, but I guess I could ask Santa for a loan for Christmas. All that being said, that Sniper mod sounds fucking nasty. Keep it up! 🤘
@@andymclain2574 main difference is Sniper is a plate driven tone stack and MOAB is cathode follower. The circuits are different as well. MOAB has variable diode clipping with a pre-tone stack master. Sniper is standard master without any diodes.
@@groundzeroampworks780 Is that the sort of thing one could do by following instructions precisely or do you need to know what you're doing? I want to get into amp modding and repair and I do have a bit of an electronics background but really I have no idea, except don't touch the big caps... it sounds fantastic. Hoping to get my handwired in China Plexi clone soon. It already comes with a. PPIMV and a loop.
@@221b-l3t it’s a really extensive mod. I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner. If Tone Lizard’s site is still up, they have some great beginner mod instructions for Marshalls. And just be careful as there are other places besides the filter caps that hold high 300’s VDC throughout the amp.
@@groundzeroampworks780 I see, maybe build a few kits first and a few simple mods on those like ppimv... but thanks for the answer! Unfortunately here in Austria there are two amp techs I think and they're way far away so it would cost more than buying several amps to have anything done.
At the end of the day nothing beats an old Marshall!

Holy shit!!
Great sounding mod. Cleans up beautifully. Great playing too.
Even just the name "Sniper Mod" is super badass.
Appreciate that. Took me quite a while to decide on a name...
I like the sound of this one a lot! Great work as always
@@eldoradoguitars6456 thanks man! It’s got something going on for sure !

What’s the difference between the Moab+ and the sniper?
