@@AndreiGrozea I quote myself::"The thing is: I think the 2203 sits in a Mix like nothing else. With different settings on the JP i might change my opinion." The JP sounds a bit muffled and bland compared side by side to the 2203. After 1 or 2 minutes in, in the JP-Part you get used to it. + I raised the 2.2Khz Slider a tiny bit after a while.
@@ThyFinalPain The JP2C might be better for a mix, its more "refined" .But the sound of that 2203 boosted is raw, like a punch in the face. And damn i love it .
I own both of these amps myself and I prefer the JP2C over it, but in your comparison the JCM sounds better here. Each to their own.
the marshall sounds nice, is a reissue or a 80's one? G12K100 in the cab ?
It's a 2020 Reissue. Yes, G12K100 in the cab.
The 2203 ate it alive
Ha! 😉😊
Sounds Sick! Is that Marshall cab the MF280 or MF400?
MF400B
ESP ? Pickups?
I have an E-ll Standard flying V from Japan. Sounds like one? Just bought the. 2203.
ESP V-II Standard 2xEMG81 Congrats!
Jcm using a pedal but mesa not?
Yes. Mesa is straight in. Shred Mode is on.
Mesa needs to be eq'd better.... It has something to Marshall will never have but in this mix the Marshall sounds better
The Marshall sounds better in any mix.
@@ThyFinalPain I agree you should send me the Mesa boogie as a consolation prize 😎
@@None888. Fair enough. 🤓
i am once again gonna be biased and say the 2203 fucking kills.
I will make another clip with different settings. ;)
@@ThyFinalPain sounds great as it is if you ask me, tho I generally dial in more highs

2203 all the way
I changed the settings on the JP2C. I'm curious how they record and sit in the mix.
