The only thing I'm not a fan of when it comes to customizing this leverless is how the plexi is cut and the placement of their button labels printed on aluminum. It seems like no one put any thought into art part. If you add custom art, half of the button labels will still be visible and half will not. It looks weird since no one wants art paper sticking outside of plexi just to cover labels.
Thanks for the review. When you were doing the backdash test, were you using the stock switches, or the kailh switches? Also--I have the original overdrive with qanba gravity buttons. How do these compare?
@@booleann___ Stock. But I did swap switches after the review was filmed. I just prefer Kailh. Also, the pulse buttons are way better than qanba gravity. The top tier buttons are now Pulse, Enth and Gamer Finger. Nothing else comes close LOL

This pad looks awesome, but the prices man. I get my Haute42 T16 for 76$ and this one cost like ~280$. I know, its premium quality, but its crazy money for a 1/5 of a keyboard.
My muscle memory is wired for a pad. How the hell do I adjust to what's essentially a proto keyboard? It drives me nuts that ALL these leverless devices have the *UP* button at the bottom. Why can't the buttons be arranged in a Dpad formation?
build your own and customise the layout. You can't customise a pad layout unless you print a pad and all the components out yourself... good luck with that LOL
Kitsune is solid but is more expensive, can't replace the switches if they break (so you gotta make sure it's in warranty and send it back) and you are limited to standard layout. There is also no plexi for custom art, so to customise it you'll need a vinyl sticker which can be annoying to replace. Once you've taken it off, it can't be reused either. Overdrive is a bit more substantial (personal preference but i prefer controllers with a little more to them), plexi for art or rock the aluminium underneath plain, better custom layout and can rewire buttons to other functions on the board, full sized buttons, full sized switches in the pulse... Both have sick RBG lighting, overdrive is a bit more customisable with the shading. If we're really getting nit-picky, the overdrive has lower latency (less input delay) than kitsune, but is the average person gonna notice? No 😂 Both are solid
Looks good , but once you are used to a flatbox going back to these boxes just doesn't feel right .. also 300 usd ... Thr haute m16 plus is 130 usd , aluminium body , great switches , rgb .. it's just too good for the price , literally murders everything else in the market currently .. and it looks better than everything else too
@@IytrrvItru I disagree. I don’t like flat boxes at ALL. They only serve the purpose for lab devices for me 😂 but hautes are good value for money for sure

@@IamSafehead I took the plexi off. I prefer the aluminium feel, the buttons are 24mm and UP is 30

I wouldn't go for kitsune. Overdrive is cheaper and has extra buttons. Overdrive can also be compatible with Xbox.
