I have a 2015 CC w/ 6-speed manual transmission. Very similar build; HPA Intake, Carbonino CAI, HPA K04, HPA Down, hi-flow cat, mid-pipe, Billy Boat 3” Snow water / meth injection, CTS hot & cold pipes, Golf R intercooler. Clutch is TTRS pressure plate, euro spec TDI disk & VW flywheel. Have Koni adjustable & Michelin Pilot SS tires. Wish I had your wheels and brakes! I recomend you getting Free valve springs as eventually your factory ones will not be adequate with your K04. I’ve probably had that issue for awhile. I’m now upgrading to a Wagner Competition Intercooler and new turbo cartridge to the K04, all new Ferrea +1mm valves, springs, guides and seals. Should be 450+ HP. Come on over to Arizona and lets go for a ride! Hope to be done in late May. Great video’s by the way.
@@Bring380GT You have to machine the valve seats in the cylinder head for larger valves and then perform a performance oriented valve job (seat angles). I am also installing new bronze valve guide which are also superior to factory. This is also a machine operation. Finally, all valve stems have to be blueprinted to the same installed height as factory. If this can’t be done, then adjustments need to be made to the buckets. I am using a machine shop that I use for my drag car and the cost will be around $600 for the labor. If there are obvious issues with the ports or combustion chambers, he will take care of that also for more money. My tuner, HPA, says this should be worth 20-30 HP with a lot of that coming from the stiffer valve springs which will allow the exhaust valve to more adequately contain the increased cylinder pressures. Hope this helps in your decisions.

did the is20 bolt straight on? what part number as it- i have a 2015 1.8 tsi passat- i want to upgrade the turbo so bad with the is20 i have the neuspeed module currently, but will grab a JB1/4 if needed ;-)

Have your local dealer run your VIN and file a claim for at least the cost of the pump if covered. My CCTA TSI failed for first time at over 120kmi but wasn't covered according to the VIN. The two pumps are a little different since the CBFA has an extra sensor in the pump housing. Have fun with the new parts! I installed my AWE K04 kit at 108kmi and its like getting a new car.
Awesome build and Tyler is on point with his knowledge of German kraftwerk. That exhaust is way too docile for $10K + worth of mods. Mimics sound of a bumble bee sucking last bit of fluid. Consider a magnaflow resonator and a muffler with valves that open at full throttle. VW sound great with deepest exhaust tone. Two thumbs up.

My water pump went out on my mk6 gti a cpl months ago. 1k from dealer to replace. They blamed leaking valve cover. Getting that fixed this week. May want to double check that buddy

Found this video by chance. I built a nearly 400hp B6 Passat using Unitronic bits (Stages ECU 3/TCU 2), but was really interested in your HPA build. Especially that intake! Why did you change out the CTS Turbo CAI? I had one and added a 1 1/2 inch weather stripping to the top of the box, it sealed off the box at the hood and cooled air at the filter 25 degrees. Changed the dogbone mount, trans and engine mounts, but still had trouble hooking the tires. Stoptech brakes, Bilstein coilovers, 3" turbo back SS Exhaust, Uni Downpipe, etc. Like others, would really be interested in your dyno numbers for comparison. Thx

sold my 2013 VW CC Lux on Superbowl Sunday. Now, I'm planning to get a 2017 VW CC R-line Executive. I want to put some Vossen wheels on it and a few upgrades. Im definitely taking notes....rear spoiler lip extender, dashcam, intake, bigger turbo, and maybe an exhaust. Any suggestions??

My pump just went out at 120k and it was not under any warranty and had to pay full price of 950.00 for new pump and labor
