Yes they will always get the information they want even if it's from a different app or a game from the play store you download it's all linked together. Sharing of information settings of phone Wi-Fi what's on there?

No matter what you do to de-google your device, the company STILL collects data.
Just like Apple and EVERY other tech company.
unless you install an operating system like GrapheneOS, CalyxOS, LineageOS etc... or even just vanilla (meaning plain - ungoogled) Android. that's the main reason I use Android not iPhone; Apple won't let me install any OS I want on a phone that I paid for!
@@davidletarte214 Plain Android is the way to go.
But we must not install any Google app such as maps or mail. And we can't use the Play Store and Google Services. Once that has been installed, it replaces the neutral Android geolocation system and certain drivers with the Google ones, and then it's done: You are back to square one.

Yes, it does. What's your point? Are you saying 'don't bother de-googling because it's not 100%'? Or, are you suggesting that people not use their devices at all if they're concerned about their privacy? You made a true statement, but you didn't use it to support a conclusion so... I'm asking: what conclusion do you want other people to understand from your statement?
I don't believe google or Facebook turn off anything if you don't want their date collection they do it anyway
They still collect data, but if you turn off targeted ads, it no longer uses that data for targeted ads. It's better than nothing however.

When it comes to ads, the tech companies that bid on ad space then get access to your data through advertising, and its Google's way of selling your data while being able to say they don't sell your data, since it's not directly selling, by instead letting advertising companies and tech companies bid for ad space which collects your data. This data is then collected and sold to data brokers who then sell it to anyone who wants it (and I literally mean anyone).
If you use Google services without a private browser, blocked cross site tracking, adBlock, VPN, private DNS, custom OS (for phone), then your data is openly at risk whether you turn on/off privacy settings with Google or not. I recommend Brave or LibreWolf, uBlockOrigin, Mulvad VPN, NextDNS, GrapheneOS. Search into these individually. If you want more options, or just want to get rid of Google entirely, look into Proton Mail/Calendar/Drive/Pass and other Proton services, as well as TechLore, Privacy Tools, Privacy Spy, Privacy Tests, and for FOSS products, use AlternativeTo to find free open source software, like LibreOffice for example which handles all Office365 needs with free software.
one reason i stopped using FAKEBOOK. or i use a fake name.who are they, to tell me what name i have to use? we don't have their information.. where they live their cell phones or address, to their 5 million dollar homes!! and fakebook keeps getting hacked anyway. i had mine hacked 3 times... what's the point. u cant even get the proper help!!! greedy men.
I cancelled facebook and they said they were keeping my info so anytime I log in my info would still be there.
Google location services make me angry! The first time I received a report of every place I had been in the last 2 weeks and it was the last! now they get nothing…nothing at all!
Excellent education for all of us. I am a 61-year-old woman and this was great for me to be able to make everything private. And as for your data being b big companies, it’s not. My data was breached both at my bank and at the hospital not to mention databases like Experian that got breached.
Played a DVD that I own. After, all my ads and UA-cam feed were filled with news and merchandise ads and actor interviews for the movie I just watched. I figured out they must be listening to me so I turned off access to my mic

Enhanced safe browsing - when you turn it on, it's like you're erasing the effect of the privacy optimizations in the first part of the video. Enhanced browsing shares even files from your download folder (among other things).

You guys are AWESOME! Also, your banter on the endorsement setting made me think of the social rating systems some countries are using to rank people. I watched an AI documentary saying that some loan application algorithms assess people on multiple risk factors including things like how low you run your phone battery on 🙄

I turned everything off except for one UA-cam setting. I had most of it turned off, but it's good to go in there every now and thing and turn stuff on/off depending on your preferences.

I've just come across your channel. I'm just going through this. Web & app activity. Follwed your guidance. I can turn off, but definitely no pause. I'm in the UK, so maybe it's different here. Suggestions, please. But not stop using your phone. I do know that no matter what you do, as soon as you update. Everything turns back on again!

Ive already done all your suggestions and also install no root firewall, even after turning all these settings off no root firewall is showing google constantly trying to get out and i mean constantly.

I will absolutely see low quality ads if I turn off personalized ads. I live in a particular type of US state where particular types of politicians are desperate to steer my opinion so that I will vote against my own self interests in order that they can keep power and so that their donors can keep their tax cuts. No thanks.

I did a bunch of the steps y’all taught us to do for privacy and the very next day (today 4/28/24) I was hacked. I had to take action fast. I never had a hack problem before.

My UA-cam history settings have always been on pause or off. I just don't like their their new Home settings appearing empty. No videos at all. So I just log off. I will only log in if there's a specific video I'd like to save or videos in my watch later list.
So I tried to post the screenshot of UA-cam message I get when I tap on my UA-cam icon now, after I turned off my watch history but idk wtf I'm doing, it's frustrating trying to keep all of these nosy invasive punks from profiting on my business. I have to go to the video of yours I sent to a friend to have any access to UA-cam now unless I turn my watch history back on, I hope they have a very long time to wait cause that won't happen EVER! I hate bullys. They can kiss my ***! Thank you for the Intel.

I'am older and I've been following you since I was given a new Galaxy phone. I've used your videos to turn off alot of the battery draining problems, but now I'am getting a message when I try to use my camera that the security policy won't let me use it. What do I do? I'am not real tech savvy!

It's just layer upon layer of breaches of personal privacy. Just when you think you have deactivated, another app, setting, network or site is monitoring everything you do. Total electronic surveillance will end up becoming totally unavoidable.

Google audio heard what you say and analyze words some apps analized without your know and turn on at your activity example when you talk with someone. Thats why adds change on compared to your conversation theme. At some moment you can find only basic info on google but google take many info about you and show it for anyone

Control the ability of pregnant women to travel, yep, absolutely can confirm - when my wife was pregnant with our daughter, I distinctly remember her being arrested by Republican Party Security Agents and interred in a Republican Supermax Facility so she would be unable to terminate her pregnancy, while simultaneously being prevented from seeking prenatal care (which Republicans hate for, you know, obvious reasons) that would increase the chances our daughter or my wife would die during her pregnancy.

If you turn off UA-cam history, it will no longer put things in your feed. It used to be that the feed was unbiased recommendations. Now, it's nothing.

Hi! I followed some of your tips from the video, but now I am unable to use my Gpay app. Can you please suggest me as to how can I allow Gpay to access the camera and make it work again?? I don't know which setting(s) affected the camera access for GPay.

I have a 5 year old Motorola that is out of service, but it still works, just very hard to text on or figure out what I'm doing. Your devices are likely alot newer. So I was trying to change things for Google to share my pictures, phone number or any pics that would give away my general location. FB picked up private pics and locations, so I got spooked. Just not sure I did it right. I made have made it worse. What do I do??

Same here. I've turned off some of these settings and they get reversed to default over time. It's a losing game.
WARNING! After I followed all of these suggestions, all Google related apps and services on my iPhone, Mac, and Roku TV either stopped working or were working poorly. Google thinks I am somewhere in Europe so local restaurant Apps keep crashing now. I’m in the U.S., by the way.

My goal is not have my phone sync with google and all the passwords. I just want them on my home computer. I don't have any financial on my phone.
One big question, how do you get rid of the passwords on the phone not on the google page?
