- Hey Birbsquad! Lets talk about some parrot toys my green cheek conure and quaker parrot love and hate! As you know, parrots are finicky with the toys like choose to like so I wanted to share some of my parrot's favorites!
One of my all time favorite places to buy parrot toys is from a company called Planet Pleasures. They have so many affordable and high quality toys that I really recommend.
Another place that I've ordered parrot toys from before is Bonka Bird Toys. Again, affordable and high quality toys that my parrots love.
It can be frustrating to find parrot toys that are reasonably priced so I recommend these two places specifically. Also, you should check out (but be careful) parrot toys on amazon. This is the one and only place I purchase bungee rope toys since they are more affordable there than at actual pet stores. WAY MORE lol.

your bird is worth protecting, only get toys you know are safe. When I buy a toy, I have my vet check them out before i give it to tui. I would hate to lose her

You should make a video talking about being a parrot owner and being a mom and how your kids and birds interact and things you do to keep both safe. I love this video btw ❤️

Tui's favorite toy is a wooden cactus, she plays with it and cuddles next to when she sleeps, Also she likes the hanging coconut half shell, she likes to bang it against the cage bars to hear the noise.

I’m new to the channel, and recently while on vacation to Florida at my cousins place. She had a green cheek inside sitting in the corner away from everyone and said he bites and doesn’t like anyone we our trying to sell him. I being a animal person just put my hand in the cage with food and he has bonded with me so much they asked if I wanted to bring him home with me. Yes of course and not knowing anything about a bird or ever having one. They had him for 2 year and I have had him aka her for 7 years now. Long story short she is at the Avian vet tonight getting surgery cause of egg binding she has never had a name till I named her Chloe. Being a man I never cried so much when the vet told me if haven’t brought her in she would have died cause she wasn’t eating or drinking for days. She is my family and my best friend. I am always learning from her and she loves to learn new things as well. The Avian vet said Chloe might wanted to lay some eggs for me cause your her everything to her, which I am. I am still learning new things about conures every day and I want to try and get her a friend if I can soon.
I loved this story Kevin thank you for sharing it. Chloe sounds like one happy birdy to have you :) I'm a firm believer that animals can sense your energy and how you feel about them. I'm willing to bet Chloe knew you'd be there to help her out. Hope you and Chloe have a long, healthy, happy life together :)) keep us all updated on how shes doing please!

OMG the “Shredders” roll of paper/wicker is amazing! I buy the colorful roll. My bird will literally sit for hours quietly pulling a section of it apart. It also makes her really happy.

@@VictoriaRyann I believe they are the caterpillar and the paint brush I believe that's what it's called. Skittles my sun conure loves them and Doodle my yellow sided green cheek he seems to enjoy them😊so I'm going to definitely buy more of a variety of the planet pleasures.

Tui and Yoshi are alike in Throwing toys for fun, Her favorite is a bird wooden barbell which she loves to throw off her cage

I use bottle lids on a bit of sting my green conure loves it.
Victoria you should try the squawk box from the parrot shop they are amazing and affordable also they ask which species your birds are, how many, you can choose toy parts toys food cleaning supplies oh I could go on and on definitely check out the squawk box from theparrotshop
My birds love planet pleasures toys. Those nets don't look very good. I have some nice nets but can't remember what they are called, keep looking around and you will find a good net.

Your good with that dog pet your dog won’t die from that toy maybe your bird cause the strings but not the dog there different
Just wrapped him and regular wrapping paper to put little tiny chairs in it he will see those little holes in Finish ripping the paper off

What treats are you giving them? Our Conure is big on sunflower seed but it looks like something else. Im looking for other treats other than sunflower seeds.
Mine obsess over sunflower seeds too but its an every now and then treat. I get the zupreem bag of mixed treats. They especially like the dried chili peppers and papaya from it.

I think it’s just my bird but my bird don’t play with toys it just flies away from them ,even if she gets used to the toy she won’t even touch it but when it comes to my necklace she goes mad .

We love planet pleasure!! Toys from China are generally not safe. Try Abirdtoy.com they not only sell toys but bird toy parts. Try sola it its a really soft item my birds love love it!!!❤❤❤

I use a sea grass mat instead of a rope one and it's safe for parrots t chew on. My normal green cheek LOVES those and they're a couple of dollars of chewy.com at least they were during the holidays that maybe been a sale but definitely worth a look at. Much better than the risk of the cotton rope toys and rhebseagrass ones sometimes come with toys attached
