Always enjoy looking at fresh and new Actual Plays. I am enjoying this group very much. Will keep a close eye on this campaign. Thank you @NaturalSix for allowing us to join you on this adventure.
The production quality of this is just phenomenal! Incredible story as always but I was honestly just completely blindsided by the big pre-recorded voice track setpiece
I love the idea of I hearing other people refer to him as “I the character not me” and assume they gave him a nickname and introduce himself as, “Hi, call me ‘I’ but my friends refer to me as, ‘I the character not me” 😂
Just finished my first listen and I’m already jumping in for a second round, this episode was STELLAR!!!!! I loved how haunting and stressful the story has become with these new revelations. Everyone at the table played their characters to perfection, especially I, Radion and Endellion. I DON’T WANT TO WAIT TWO WEEKS AAAHHHHH ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can't get over the fact that this is episode _two._ Many would be warming up to the world, and y'all are retrieving the corpses of the gods. My favorite bit may have been imagining Seb setting up the speakers for The Moment, giggling over how much Aoife would jump out of her skin when it happened.
"I" is dropping banger lines dude. "A parvus is alone, you are not alone" And when "I" was told that whatever he knows, he's just a grain of sand. He claps back with "but I is one of many grains"
I have never been so invested in a session. Something about the stakes, the vastly varied personality types, the immersive flavor. It is top tier and I constantly think "Ooo how's it gonna be when they get to "point a,b,c"!
That set-piecey section in the latter half was crazy, really enjoyed watching that play out. I was really hoping (SPOILERS for that section!) M would be passed the rope towards the end to drag them over the line 🤣
I love Morgan! He is like Gilligan, Shaggy, and Mr. Mcgoo all rolled into one glorious bumbling lovable character. Also, great job with the potions, I like how you gave the option to take an action for the entire effect, or use as a bonus with the chance of less effect.
Hate to admit it (and will probably get flamed by everyone), but I think this, so far, is better than Crit. Role. The plot doesn't get weighed down with unnecessary banter.
I don't necessarily agree. I love the banter between the characters in CR. Especially in C1 and C2. C3 lost me quite quickly, so I definitely agree there. With that said, I love how fast this has gotten the plot going, and the characters seem amazing, so I definitely look forward to getting to know them.
I agree wholeheartedly. Crit takes itself a little too seriously at times and gets bogged down in the _performance_ - my adhd brain can't get through it even though I like it for the first ~hour or so. This is just a little lighter or more relaxed but the performance and story is still there and strong.
This episode was AMAZING! I was so invested the whole way through. The voices was sooo shocking and I loved how it was a great moment for the viewer to be just as surprised as the player. Also really loved the landslide! Usually there is only rp and battles so this was quite unique and sooo fun. The graphic for it was perfect to follow along. So freaking cool to see my name in the credits. Can't wait for the next episode.
@neepers There are only 3 hour sessions with 5 people, they're engaging plenty. Harry has just got a way of atmospherically creating a scene that may take a while to finish but everyone is paying attention.
@neepers I know D&D but all I'm saying he's just being overly descriptive which isn't the worst thing in the world, there were many instances where it was just the group talking, not saying that's the majority of the time but that is in place of when description is over.
bro... the way tears just suddenly started streaming down my face when radian and the dwarf cleric interact and talk in the scene upon the dead dwarf goddess
This is so cool. In my current game my Eladrin is part of a warrior house that guards a rift that is open between the Shadowfell and the Fey Wild. So when then said "we will be prepared" i was i am like heck yeah we will.
I just wanted to say that something i would love to see in these episode is the subtitles. As a non english native speaker sometimes i lose some words and having subtitles would help me so much retracing what i loose and don't understand, of course i am not asking for subs in every language, just english subtitles (that are not automatically generated) would be something i'd love to see! Now i'm going to shut up and watch the show :)
Just finished watching this episode, and I have to say it was spectacular. Harry has done a phenomenal job of making story super engaging and it’s so fun to see the gang interacting together. I normally struggle to sit through long episodes of anything, but gobbled this down in one sitting!! Can’t wait for more 🤩
This is my first time playing too and I’m so happy I finally started, so I really hope you do too! We do have a very lovely discord community who have recently started playing together (digitally) and setting up games so if you really enjoy things here pop by and see what’s going on - Hollie
The avalanche is a Great encounter Harry, you really make it clear that this is largely a learning moment so the players can both familiarize themselves with different encounter objectives and also familiarize themselves with their kit and capabilities. Great design
Thank you very much for uploading it here, couldn't stay yesterday for the whole session and cannot wait to see the rest. It was so dramatic and gripping, Harry is the best narrator and all the characters are also absolutely perfect. Wish you all a very lovely day.
This episode made me cry. I'm going to enjoy this campaign so much... I'm so happy that I discovered and subscribed to this channel, and this campaign is going to be so good.
I had a DMPC in a 3.5 game, could not roll a save, could not hit with an attack roll, had to make a casting roll for some of her magic or take damage (strange alternative caster option), she almost killed herself. Morgan just reminds me so much of her, the dice gods do not approve of some DMPCs.
Started watching this campaign last night. You all are fantastic! So glad I found this channel. Great combination of fun, serious, and silliness. Not a lot of channels can mix that together so well. Can't wait to keep watching!
In regards to the two saving throws lost I would be remiss not to point out that is the autocrit that does that. The autocrit specifies damage from a creature that is 5 feet away (i.e. adjacent to the target). AoE's and range attacks only cause one saving throw to be lost. So certainly not all the time though at DMs discretion might be applied in this case.
I am loving the idea of having each show every other a week. I do listen in spurts so I have time to digest the episode and then get a lovely Action Surge for the behind the scenes. You guys are doing an amazing job. I'm new at D&D. I didn't know the players could do anything and have the DM on their toes. It sort of like a game of chess.
Actually loving this series. Got into this while playing bg3 and this popped up on my feed. Really enjoying all the cast and the DM is excellent and does a great job of immersing you in the story. Really making me want to play some real Dnd but I know I'm nowhere near as inventive or entertaining as these guys.
I love the show but as an observation. Someone should remind the Druid that he has wild shape and could have turned into a large beast with a 40 foot movement speed that could then move 80 a turn and carry someone while doing it. Still great and fully enjoy everyone playing, look forward to see how this works out.
Recently started watching/listening to this. It's my first dnd campaign, so learning loads. You are all bringing the charactera to life so well, I got quiet emotional during the first half of this! The music though, wow.. It really elevated the whole thing. Can't wait to see where this goes 😎
Somehow my ADHD self managed to get through the whole lot with only a couple of breaks. What an episode. Also “that” moment was incredible. You know the one I mean right? With the orbs. Also that end was epic, what a cleverly designed encounter
This episode was incredible!! I found myself so drawn into the story and emotion (the RP is getting better and better), even tearing up a little. The descriptions of the environment and the characters in this situation really helped me to see the world and understand the affect of what was happening (HELLO, THOSE VOICES??!). Then, OH THEN, just when I thought things were winding down a bit as the party moves forward, BAM! That was soooo unexpected and fun! I can't wait until the next episode!
I’m absolutely loving the story and how much variety there has been in the gameplay! And the voices “moment” was top tier! Can’t wait for the next episode! Also, as a Xenoblade fan please tell me that the name “Antiqua” is a nod to Melia haha
Interesting approach to make the characters privy to a world-shaking revelation at the beginning of the campaign. I'm actually intrigued to know how the group will use and handle this knowledge going forward. Harry's homebrew is top notch, and Reliquiae is such an interesting world. I really can't wait to learn more. I'm also desperate for the group to get their first taste of running amok in civilisation. What will happen when I (the character, not the me) finally speaks to a shopkeeper? I (the me, not the character) loved the pre-recorded section as a gimmick to really drive home the events of the temple. What a note to end their exploration on! Hollie's decision not to search the room and instead look out of the window, as her character would, is top tier roleplaying without the metagaming. How can she hate D&D when she's so good at it?! And the chase sequence genuinely got me worried that Harry was going to wipe out the entire party in the second session, but his control of the table and the flow of the action really impressed me yet again. Eagerly awaiting Session 3.
I am in love with this actual play, but i can't for the live of me understand what I (the character, not me) is saying to the orbs...😂😂 The automated subtitle aren't helpfull xD This is a very refreshing play and I love that everything feels natural... I'm going to binge watch the rest of the episodesn! Thanks bye!!
This is pretty ambitious, taking this approach so soon. I just think that it might have been more impactful if we as the watchers got to know a bit more about the virtuous before this event came about. But as for the party.. none of them seem to be very religious except for the druid, so I respect the choice of using this event as a catalyst for the plot.
I'm hoping we'll come to understand the importance and the reach of the Virtuous as the world begins to change around the characters in future episodes. Though the reaction of their clerics alone did it for me. If you really want to demonstrate the impact of a character death, show it through the ones left behind.
Going to make a bold prediction, by the end the antiquer (spelling?) will become the new gods (and for a twist one of the party does). Would be a neat twist.
loving the show so far. It seems some presentation details are still being ironed out so here are my two cents, if you'll have them: - either use a D&D style game/world map to represent where players/NPCs are in the world or - enhance the presentation of the digital HUD thing going on in the bottom left..I think even an arrow at the outer border of player/NPC circles to indicate their direction would be a huge help
I tried playing along, but during the running scene I would have rolled a 1 on EVERY turn except the first and last! To make matters worse, I’d chosen a Halfling character, so his speed was only 25ft. Lol

I got such goosebumps when voices played. Especially the "we warned you" part. So creepy. You guys are doing so well
I had to go back and listen again. Amazing!
An iconic moment and it's only episode 2
Listened to it 3 or 4 times just to make sure I got it all, the look on everyones faces 🤌🏻💋
Always enjoy looking at fresh and new Actual Plays. I am enjoying this group very much. Will keep a close eye on this campaign. Thank you @NaturalSix for allowing us to join you on this adventure.
Same im insane making this my forth but I am watching some unique qualities this group can make
I like seeing how Aofie and Ben get emotionally into the game.
Morgan and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
The production quality of this is just phenomenal! Incredible story as always but I was honestly just completely blindsided by the big pre-recorded voice track setpiece
I wish these were weekly! Missed you guys last week :(.
"I; the character, not the me" has got to be a t-shirt LOL
"Whatever you think you know... you are a grain of sand."
"But -I- is one of many grains."
Yeah, he should have got inspiration for that
I want to hear "I, the character, not the me." Every week please 😂 running gag number 1 unlocked
Poor guy will get this as a verbal tic after the season.
Gonna be a t-shirt at this rate
Take my money!!!
I love the idea of I hearing other people refer to him as “I the character not me” and assume they gave him a nickname and introduce himself as, “Hi, call me ‘I’ but my friends refer to me as, ‘I the character not me” 😂
We all have bad days….I does not!
Oh my days! That one poignant moment was an absolute triumph in set up and execution!
If you know, you know.
Excellent again
Dear lord, the *moment* (out of context: poking orbs) was executed so well. Chills, really excited to see how this goes
Graphic on the screen during the landslide was SO helpful. This session was just perfect. I was literally on the edge of my seat.
Doug: "Can we have a short rest?"
Polite Host Harry: "Yeah sure of course"
Doug: "I mean in game?"
DM Harry: "No chance" *now I'm gonna make you cry
I can't get over the fact that this is episode _two._ Many would be warming up to the world, and y'all are retrieving the corpses of the gods.
My favorite bit may have been imagining Seb setting up the speakers for The Moment, giggling over how much Aoife would jump out of her skin when it happened.
The game mechanics of this landslide is really, really well done.
We’ve just released them on our Patreon too, like 9min ago 🤣 - Hollie
Relatively recent D&D player, only started in October, but I'm loving the game and loving this channel
Same here! I've tried a few actual plays (some more famous than others!) but this one oozes quality. Very excited to catch it in its early stages!
Ditto, though I do consider myself a Critter lol. I can't wait to see where they take this.
"I" is dropping banger lines dude.
"A parvus is alone, you are not alone"
And when "I" was told that whatever he knows, he's just a grain of sand. He claps back with "but I is one of many grains"
I love Alex. I'm 5s into this video and I don't know anything about the content, I just love Alex.
Radion stopping to shoot a fire bolt to protect Dolly…then inspiring I to do the same… y’all. Ben you’re my hero.
I have never been so invested in a session. Something about the stakes, the vastly varied personality types, the immersive flavor. It is top tier and I constantly think "Ooo how's it gonna be when they get to "point a,b,c"!
2:26:04 “Morgan rolled a 1” made me choke on my drink 😂 absolutely loving this so far, keep up the amazing work!
That set-piecey section in the latter half was crazy, really enjoyed watching that play out. I was really hoping (SPOILERS for that section!) M would be passed the rope towards the end to drag them over the line 🤣
The orb bit between the flash of an argument and the big tree was gold
Such beautiful storytelling, absolute gutwrenching sorrow too. I and Parvas had me in tears! Can't wait to see where this is going. Bravo
I love that everyone is having fun. This was very exciting and thrilling to watch, well done everyone.
I love Morgan! He is like Gilligan, Shaggy, and Mr. Mcgoo all rolled into one glorious bumbling lovable character. Also, great job with the potions, I like how you gave the option to take an action for the entire effect, or use as a bonus with the chance of less effect.
Love the chase. Love to see well executed alternatives to combat
Hate to admit it (and will probably get flamed by everyone), but I think this, so far, is better than Crit. Role. The plot doesn't get weighed down with unnecessary banter.
I would say that depends on which CR campaign. Blanket statement? Disagree. C2 and C3? Mostly Agree.

This is just a little lighter or more relaxed but the performance and story is still there and strong.
No flames here. I was excited by Natural Six because it was different from Critical Role, which I can't watch.
I'm a fan of both & honestly I'm liking both equally so far.
Love to see initiative being used for things another than combat. At the edge of my seat the whole time the landslide was in play
I’m just loving this. Harry is a fabulous story-teller; and his players are so engaged! Top class.
Now i'm going to shut up and watch the show :)
i didn't see any other comments about Doug's LOTR reference while trying to get the elven door open! Well played!
Just finished watching this episode, and I have to say it was spectacular. Harry has done a phenomenal job of making story super engaging and it’s so fun to see the gang interacting together. I normally struggle to sit through long episodes of anything, but gobbled this down in one sitting!! Can’t wait for more 🤩
The wait felt SO long, I was gagging for the next episode, so happy it’s here! Thank you.
I am completely enthralled by this! I've never played and always wanted to and this just increases that desire!
This is my first time playing too and I’m so happy I finally started, so I really hope you do too! We do have a very lovely discord community who have recently started playing together (digitally) and setting up games so if you really enjoy things here pop by and see what’s going on - Hollie
Okay, 20 mins in and the people and music has sold me.
The avalanche is a Great encounter Harry, you really make it clear that this is largely a learning moment so the players can both familiarize themselves with different encounter objectives and also familiarize themselves with their kit and capabilities. Great design
I'm only 1/2 way through this episode and already, well done!
I listened to this on podcast, the sound quality is really good and I would recommend it if struggle with time to watch length video, like me
Can't believe this only episode 2, technically, what a good vibe already!
Absolutely incredible storytelling… loving this campaign so far 🎉
Thank you very much for uploading it here, couldn't stay yesterday for the whole session and cannot wait to see the rest.
It was so dramatic and gripping, Harry is the best narrator and all the characters are also absolutely perfect.
Wish you all a very lovely day.
This episode made me cry. I'm going to enjoy this campaign so much... I'm so happy that I discovered and subscribed to this channel, and this campaign is going to be so good.
I was so absorbed by this I left my suitcase on a train
We're happy you love the episode, but we're not happy to hear about your suitcase, I hope you got it back! >_< - Hollie
@@NaturalSix I did, thank you!

Welcome!
I like that there is a structure to each episode which makes the larger story easier to follow...
Such an emotional beginning. I definitely want to hear/see more about the gods of this world! The rolls at the end were all over omg, so stressful!
Yes and no. It's more like interactive, cooperative story-telling. Though it can get competitive! Still, all in good fun.
Actually loving this series. Got into this while playing bg3 and this popped up on my feed. Really enjoying all the cast and the DM is excellent and does a great job of immersing you in the story. Really making me want to play some real Dnd but I know I'm nowhere near as inventive or entertaining as these guys.
Okay, but why is this one of the most fun series I've seen in a while? Great job, everyone! Looking forward to this!
I love the show but as an observation. Someone should remind the Druid that he has wild shape and could have turned into a large beast with a 40 foot movement speed that could then move 80 a turn and carry someone while doing it.

Also “that” moment was incredible. You know the one I mean right? With the orbs.
Also that end was epic, what a cleverly designed encounter
Watch at 1.5 speed. I watch all actual plays at 1.5 speed. Can't watch them otherwise and it doesn't affect the quality especially.
The part when the voices played was amazing, I love it. The next episode can't come fast enough! Hopefully it's this week.
This is fantastic so far!
You're in for a treat, it only gets better!! Happy watching! 🕸 🥰
As a individual, who is getting back into DND after several years away im really enjoying this campaign so far. 👍
I can't wait until the next episode!
this story is incredible. Can't wait to see what the PCs will discover next - if Morgan survives ;-)
Another excellent episode! Well done all of you.🤩
Lol I like the "speak friend and enter" attempt by saying friend in elfish but that door didn't open lol
You are compelling storytellers, this is truly excellent
There needs to be an animated series inspired by this campaign.
Well, that was a rollercoaster of emotions!! What an AMAZING session 2! ❤ The Orbs! 😲😱😲 💯
Oh man what a fun watch this was, with such a great group of characters (both in-game and out)! Can't wait for the next one.
I’m absolutely loving the story and how much variety there has been in the gameplay! And the voices “moment” was top tier! Can’t wait for the next episode! Also, as a Xenoblade fan please tell me that the name “Antiqua” is a nod to Melia haha
Well done you lot! This story just started with a BANG and keeps on going. I'm looking forward to more time spent with you.❤
Ben's amazing id love to see him on WILTY
What a brilliant session guys. Loved it
Part of me wishes I'd not discovered this until next year so I could binge watch.
This is ridiculously entertaining
This is so good! It took me several days to watch it in instalments, but boy is it worth it!
Ok soooooo I just finished ep1 yesterday. Today I start ep2! I am really enjoying this content! Keep it up 🎉
Welcome! - Hollie
I would love to know what beautiful fantastic friends they pulled to do that voice over.
It’s all Harry!
The music is so excellent, headphones are a must.
I was saving this to listen at work today. Such a fun episode.
I am in love with this actual play, but i can't for the live of me understand what I (the character, not me) is saying to the orbs...😂😂 The automated subtitle aren't helpfull xD
This is a very refreshing play and I love that everything feels natural... I'm going to binge watch the rest of the episodesn! Thanks bye!!
So much fun, and that whole landslide portion was nail biting!
This may be my third time watching... but can we get a massive shout of for the background music! Sets the tone, the mood and the ambience so well
I mean... The production of this is insane and the story quite promising hope for the best
I love the landslide part, it was so immersive!
I saw some theories floating around the discord that Raidion is a former/fallen god. Not sure if there’s any actual evidence but it sounds cool
loving the visual tools.
This was phenomenal! Thank you so much! Can't wait to see what happens next ❤
I didn't think Dolly _could_ dash as a bonus action. Probably saved her butt though.
loving the show so far. It seems some presentation details are still being ironed out so here are my two cents, if you'll have them:
- either use a D&D style game/world map to represent where players/NPCs are in the world or
- enhance the presentation of the digital HUD thing going on in the bottom left..I think even an arrow at the outer border of player/NPC circles to indicate their direction would be a huge help
Good stuff!
Looking forward to the next, and the post show reactions 👍
Morgan constantly being in danger of death cracks me up.
What a leader. 😅
Made even funnier by the dressing down he gave Raidion about claiming to be the leader in Session 1.
Great episode, you are all awesome.
I tried playing along, but during the running scene I would have rolled a 1 on EVERY turn except the first and last! To make matters worse, I’d chosen a Halfling character, so his speed was only 25ft. Lol
Thanks
😂morgan is some kind of superman, because if someone got hit by a landslide, its basically impossible to get out of it again😅.
Downed characters only lose 2 deaths saves if hit by melee attacks only. Any damage only takes away 1 death save.
