It's so impressive how invested not just I (the me not the character) but so many people already have become in this adventure. It's clear every aspect has been made with passion and care, and the next episode can't come soon enough!!!
It's so nice being able to follow a campaign, and group, from the beginning like this. I tried getting into Critical Role before, but it's a daunting task to start right from the beginning. Can't wait to see how you guys evolve and grow as players and a group.
I understand (having followed CR from the early days). As a campaign continues, the history builds. Eventually, it seems like most of the game becomes in-jokes and call-backs. I couldn't get my spouse into CR, but they are loving this game.
I really love the little recap at the start. It just feeds enough background to refresh the memory for us and the players. I think that kind of “onboarding” is smart
Yeah, I know folks would love this to be weekly but I really like this bi-weekly, sustainable structure as more people can catch up with it and not let it run on to a point where it's inaccessible.
I'm a huge Oxventure follower, but didn't get into that side of their work until quite a ways in, and seeing Harry pop off like this with such a star cast of PCs, and immediacy, and high stakes, from the very beginning, feels really, REALLY nice. Lol
Spoiler: Minor Character Math Corrections in Episode 51:00 Edellion has a Con of 11, which is a modifier of +0, not +2, HP added should have been 6, not 8. 59:12 Dolly was given the Elven Chain, a +1 AC magical Chain Shirt, which is 14 + Dex Modifier (+2 Max) and +1 for being magical. Thus she should add 17 AC, 14 +2(Dex) +1, as she has 16 Dex.
I may be alone in this, but I do like the level rolls and seeing the upgrades chosen (pre-selected by players to save time hopefully) when level ups occur. Seeing what players pick is more fun than figuring it out in later episodes especially how fast the lower levels go sometimes.
I think there are a lot of people that do. However I know from my own play and character creation/leveling that there are people who don't necessarily make those choices in a manner that suits recording. In either case I trust that this group will do what fits best for them regardless.
I binged the first two episodes today at work by listening to the podcast version. I’m hooked. As someone who’s relatively new to DND, I’m trying to get into CR, as it seems they’ve become almost the benchmark for dnd streams, but there are like years worth of content. It’s kind of a challenge. I watched the first season of LoVM which almost like an abridged version of their first campaign, but with Natural Six, I feel more grounded in the world building. We’re experiencing it with the cast, who by the way, have some pretty impressive resumes, as they experience it for the first time. Feels more personal. I like what y’all got going on. 👍
I'm thoroughly enjoying the show! In just the first 20 minutes, I've noticed a significant increase in depth during the conversations and roleplay. The players are really starting to embody their characters, which addresses my main critique from the first two episodes. Great job - I love it!
I didnt put two and two together that Hollie was head of comms at CDPR before, and worked directly for playstation, and probably has a lot of prior interaction with a lot of these folks, and its cool finding those little tidbits as this goes on.
Oddly, outside of knowing Aoife for many years, I had only met Ben once before and had never met Alex, Doug, or Harry. Life moves in funny ways - Hollie
Absolutely loving Natural Six so far! The only thing that's kind of hindering my enjoyment is the lack of accurate subtitles for accessibility since I personally can have a hard time processing JUST vocal language. I totally understand if it's not feasible, but just a suggestion to make these adventures in Reliquiae more accessible to all. :)
With every new episode I feel more and more invested in the story. Great storytelling and great roleplaying. Cannot wait to see what will happen next. Thank you all for sharing this with us and wish you a very lovely day.
I finally got the chance to catch up! The chemistry with the group is so good and I loved the moments at camp. The conversation between Morgan and Endellion had me and it just got better and better from there. That whole situation for the last part (trying not to spoil) was a twist I wasn't expecting. love it!
I was absolutely gripped! A combat encounter that became quite a powerful roleplaying situation. Nice to see Morgan get to showcase some very cool Paladin abilities as well
2:00:26 line of sight is anywhere within a creature’s sight range that is not blocked off by objects. It doesn’t matter what direction they are facing. For example if a creature’s sight range is 30ft blindsight the anything outside of 30ft from the creature is not within line of sight while anything within 30ft is and since this is blindsight it also wouldn’t matter if a character was behind an object since the creature doesn’t need vision to see.
A really sweet moment for me was Hollie helping Doug with his dnd beyond for his saving throw even though this is her first time playing dnd. She's picked it up so naturally
I love this series - such a clever concept with a great DM and excellent players/characters. I’m really looking forward to following along with the adventure!
Bravo(a)! So much fun watching you all play the game we only dreamed of when we were kids (mid 1970's). I am looking forward to seeing where all this goes!
Anybody with good lip reading skills able to decipher what Hollie says at 47:12? I can’t tell but Alex seemed to react to it 😅 Also I’m absolutely loving the series so far! From a devout D20 fanboy 😂
Legend! Thanks for reply, was scratching my head haha. And even bigger thanks for your work on the production as a whole! Top quality out of the gate - can’t wait for more 😁
Ben Starr does for that blue cardigan what Chris Evans did for the off-white jumper in Knives Out. *applauds* Also, this is A+ UA-cam content. *standing ovation*
Oh shi- Morgan whipping out Dreadful Aspect made me do a double take, Oathbreaker not just by name! Great idea Harry 😁 Edit: and then describing the appearance of his shield of faith as the thick black smoke that follows an extinguished flame, echoing his extinguished faith, brilliant!
Love the show guys, i am playing catch up at the moment and am just on Ep3. i heard you say you need a Mini moving system. A retractable back scratcher works great, its like a old retractable car ariel with a rake on the end.
The character development on Morgan through this episode was great, and I enjoyed his descent into Oathbreaker. Always a great arc for a paladin. All it takes is one bad day, as the Clown said. The party are all teasing their back stories, I see, but I'm invested. I can't wait to see how their relationships develop. The Web was such a great conceit to bring together these disparate characters. Also, the Deck of Many Friends has made its first appearance? I'll echo some of the other comments here and say it was great to see a combat with two parties of hesitant combatants that resolved with a ceasefire. It's rare to find a party that commits to non-violence after rolling initiative. I love that the combats in these episodes serve the story rather than being exercises in meta-gaming. I do feel like you are a group of cooperative storytellers rather than DM vs players (although I did notice Harry's glee when he realised how many dice he got to roll on a crit Inflict Wounds). Looking forward to another adventure in Reliquiae, especially since our characters are now officially dead. 😅
I love this episode so much especially the campfire convos between Raidion & I (the character and not the me) and also between Raidion & Dolly got me in tears. I also loved the convo between Raidion & Jasme as that got me in tears as well.
Really enjoy the game play and have added y’all’s game to my scheduled watch list. Just a suggestion for a smoother game play. If you’re playing with the DDB app running there’s no need to “manually” adding all your bonuses. Look at you DDB character sheet. It includes all you bonuses & modifiers so you don’t have to add anything. All you to hit, damage, and spell DCs are figured out for you.
Lovin it so far guys keep it up, just one thing I think Harry’s mic is picking up him writing when the PC are talking, if you are able to mute it or something that would be elite! (Ps if no one else can hear it I think I’m losing it hahaha)
It took me a while but I'm sure the miniature used for jasmea is from Rescale miniatures, formally lord of the print. I love their sculpts and use them in my sessions as well
If you really need something to help move characters around, could always pick up one of those claw grabbers. Could always get the dinosaur one for true professionalism :) .

Try watching Calamity and campaign 2 first, it makes watching the rest much easier

To have this level of roleplaying chemistry after just three episodes is utterly insane. There is some serious talent at this table.
"Do you think I haven't seen loss?" - man, that whole dialogue between Endellion and Morgan gave me chills. Hollie is absolutely nailing this!
Proof that combat encounters don't always require combat actions
I loved what Dolly did in this episode!
Really good point - hack and slay can get old, fast. This creativity makes encounters much less predictable.
Kudos to the players for getting out of the "to the death" lockstep that some parties can get stuck in with combat.
Each new episode steps up and delivers! Hollie and Aoife had such really amazing moments in this episode. Raidion…Raidion…Raidion!
Spoiler: Minor Character Math Corrections in Episode
51:00 Edellion has a Con of 11, which is a modifier of +0, not +2, HP added should have been 6, not 8.
59:12 Dolly was given the Elven Chain, a +1 AC magical Chain Shirt, which is 14 + Dex Modifier (+2 Max) and +1 for being magical. Thus she should add 17 AC, 14 +2(Dex) +1, as she has 16 Dex.
bump!
Bro that intro with the illustrations above their names!!! 🔥🔥
Some amazing roleplay in this episode! More insight into the characters was great.
And Morgan... YES! Go on lad!

@@NaturalSix That's crazy! Thanks for the reply!
Yep - that's where I remember her from the early Cyberpunk promo days. Good times!
Stars above- this is a SPECTACULAR performance.
A little positive feedback:
DM needs to let the players RP more. These guys are good at it and you can trust them to carry.
Great show.
Algorithm boost, and also really loving the interactions here, the pacing is super engaging this episode!
Happy early birthday, Hollie!
Awww thank you ❤

This was great. Thanks for the video.
Absolutely love this group and everything you have done so far with this campaign.
And I made it to the end…. goodness me I’m invested in these characters and world
Another great episode! Hope this really gets the popularity it deserves, hopefully in the future they can do episodes every week.
Really enjoying the episodes so far! Excited for where the story & character development will lead 😀
With every new episode I feel more and more invested in the story. Great storytelling and great roleplaying. Cannot wait to see what will happen next.
Thank you all for sharing this with us and wish you a very lovely day.
I know these are all such long episodes, but I swear it feels like they just fly by. Loving the campaign so far. 🙌🙌🙌
Also available on podcast if you don’t have time to watch the video.

About 10 seconds in and smashing the like button. Absolutely love this story and this table of players!
I love this series - such a clever concept with a great DM and excellent players/characters. I’m really looking forward to following along with the adventure!
This is a great game! I love the group dynamic!
Love the show! ❤
I need carved spoon merch!
....A sentence that I did not think I would ever say but is nevertheless completely true
Bravo(a)! So much fun watching you all play the game we only dreamed of when we were kids (mid 1970's). I am looking forward to seeing where all this goes!
Loved it when I watched it "live" on Twitch, watching it again while sorting stuff for moving house :). Great stuff
31:51 Watching Alex react to the Kelnus lore drop has cracked me up for two days now 😂
1:56:21 I love Alex's little nudge to Aoife as she channels her inner Vanessa Carlton
Another top-tier episode! Loved the roleplay so much this episode.
This has fast become a favorite fortnightly watch. I really love the character work!
Great stuff, loving it. The PCs are all doing great and the world building is amazing!
Loving the mini and camera work. Please keep that up! Maybe small Croupier's sticks for everyone would help.
Already so excited for this!
Absolutely brilliant rp in combat! Only 3 episodes in and I'm on the edge of my seat ❤
Now that Shōgun is over this is now the best thing about Tuesdays
this is sooooo exiting. The story is amazing. well done
We must simply must get some kind of mini moving system. Or just a slightly smaller table!
I think Harry needs to grow longer arms
I thought Hollie climbing on the table is the mini moving system
I need a Natural Six character spoon set. Surely someone can do that.
Anybody with good lip reading skills able to decipher what Hollie says at 47:12? I can’t tell but Alex seemed to react to it 😅 Also I’m absolutely loving the series so far! From a devout D20 fanboy 😂

@@midgetcb3557 You're welcome, glad you are enjoying it!
Amazing story once again
Wow! Phenomenal episode!
ooh i like the solo full screen cam when dm is setting it up
My favorite Endellion scene❤ 1:32:50
The first episode to make me think I could maybe pull off being a paladin at some point
Oh, I've so been waiting for this!
This has been such an absolute joy to watch!!!!
Loving this. Looking forward to a long campaign.
Ben Starr does for that blue cardigan what Chris Evans did for the off-white jumper in Knives Out. *applauds* Also, this is A+ UA-cam content. *standing ovation*
2:19 the character I is just so fun. I love how he is the antithesis of Radion.
This is really going somewhere, i'm really enjoying the party so far.
Great show, long may it continue
Soooooo I just finished ep2!!! Search for Goodies!🎉🎉🎉. And OMG MORGAN 😂😅. Loving what you are serving up. "HITS PLAY"
Thank you so much :D - Hollie

Fantastic
If you do merch id be all over it as i missed the kick-starter

This is great, I love it!
We are all Alex when spicy convo is taking place 👀😲

they finally invoked the "makinmaway", the worlds are colliding D:
I always say it in my head when they say it
When it comes to Aoife and “Makinmaway” I can’t help but picture Ian Hilton on a murder spree…doododoododoo
Didn't know this was coming tonight! Not primed! Will watch tomo!
Using Miniatures?!?!?! NERRRRRDS!!!!!! 😆 These sessions have been fantastic 🙂 I wish you all the best and for this to carry on for a long ol' time ❤

Bald Geralt is awesome
Really great show
Harry you are a great DM
Is the DM an actor that was in that one Netflix series? The pseudohistorical about the clash between Anglicans and Danes?
Question about the deck. So wonder if it is a deck of many things. If it is has even more questions about Radian.
It is probably the deck that allows them to summon random NPCs based off characters from people who backed the Kickstarter.
There's a link where I can see the characters sheets and their evolutions?
I caught that little "makingmyway" drop there. I know what you are 😏
LET'S WATCH SOME D&D!
Everyone had the giggles today lol
What _was_ the plan if they went through with killing the healer lady elf and her guards? Would the blight have killed them?
