30:30 Love the neurodivergence 🥰, thought so from episode 1. It's so nice to see you all being so open about it. The note taking discussion was great, it's like getting ideas to function / validation. I really love that the episodes are every 2 weeks as I can alternate between I need to get my life together and still just be able to catch up when I shutdown / burnout for an entire week and binge watch all your content. I find it so much better than other more established series. Also the episode length is perfect. Great job everyone!

I’m brand new to dnd haven’t played a session yet me and several buddies are going to play and I’m going to DM and I’m in awe and slightly overwhelmed but still excited by how detailed and vast these campaigns are. I plan on using some of premade shorter campaigns and one slightly chunkier if anyone has some recommendations thank you in advance. But I’m also creating my own longer campaigns and I’ve never really done anything like planning my own world and quests. I’ve genuinely never had more fun in my life just planning it. I can’t imagine how much fun it will be to take some of my best friends into my world and see all the they enjoy and the mark they will leave on it.

Alex is a wonderful actor and Harry is an outstanding DM. The scene with I and Quincy was genuinely delightful in every way.

What a wonderful character I is. So unique.

Props to Harry for continuing to make characters more complex on the spot and create verbose speeches. You can work on your Dwarven accents but everything else sounds splendid!

I think Harry did an amazing job in describing the hug. It really felt like the most natural description and I loved it. Despite the fact, that many people like romances and shipping characters, your group has such a perfect dynamic, like a really loving-but-bit-disfunctional family, that it seems completely unnecessary in your case. Your characters are perfect as they are, slowly learning to trust each other and growing closer to each other in the right way. Thank you for your insights in the episode again and wish you all a very lovely day.

It is not lost on me how the players are elevating Harry’s already brilliant world building. Everything seems 3 dimensional and important even when it isn’t “big”. Kudos. I truly love this world and these characters. I hope you all know this is a bright spot for at least one person in a very bleak time and I thank you.

i like that you dont go back and watch the episodes to see what was said when every one is required to leave the room. it makes for better genuine reactions when you find out things you as the player had no knowladge of. i cannot wait to get to I's personal story. idk why but im so invested in that tiny Lizard man! XD

Is the Kobold stuff canonical to D&D or is it unique to Reliquia? Themself is obviously particular to your world, but what about the rest of the culture and lore?

23:11 awwwe this would've been so awesome, zombie radian. 33:19 so that's what it is! Kelnys always felt like the goofy but wise dad to me (which makes sense cuz he has a fk ton of wisdom). An uncle iroh type you could say. He seems silly and aloof but at the same time stoic and wise.

I do hope that Harry's planned for some way to renew the Deck - not that I'm complaining about how it went this session, but it would be cool to see these previous cards again.

Here's the exact working for Careful Spell: "When you cast a spell that forces other creatures to make a saving throw, you can protect some of those creatures from the spell's full force. To do so, spend 1 sorcery point and choose a number of those creatures up to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1). A chosen creature automatically succeeds on its saving throw against the spell, and it takes no damage if it would normally take half damage on a successful one." The Evoker for Wizards gain a very similar ability called sculpted spells at level 6 (2024). Take fireball - This is a spell where creatures take 8d6 fire damage on a failed Dex save and half on success. With careful spell or sculpted spell, chosen creatures take no damage. I wonder if Harry was thinking of Bard's magical secrets where at level 10, they can start dipping into the Wizard, Cleric, or Druid spell list. If Ben really wanted Flame Blade, he could always find a scroll with it one it and use the ability to spend time and money to copy it into his spell book.

This was so good, I love this Action Surge and I love Episode 17, also well done Ben on 138 on Roly Poly.

As a big fan of Oxventure and the whole OX crew, I am a bit bummed that Andy's character card got nixed so quickly
