  • International Transgender Day of Visibility is March 31st, and in honor of that day we wanted to sit down with people in that space and ask them all things fitness, nutrition, and mindset related.
    Coach Jim had the pleasure of sitting down recently with gym owner Minky Kim, powerlifter Liam Taylor, and bodybuilder Kris Lara to pick their brains about goal setting, body confidence, how transgender athletes can navigate the gym, and how allies can work to increase inclusivity in these public (and potentially dangerous) spaces.

    I'm a trans guy and just started working out, a lot of gyms and fitness centers don't quite know what do with me. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome, and for taking the time to put together such great interviews!
