@@Mkbshg8 We won 1 episode . Rather strange after only a few episodes recorded they reduced the prize money ! A guy was on my team who I’d not met before lives 5 miles from me and he his wife and daughter been close friends 35 years now 👍
Yeah, British station HTV bought the franchise from Reg Grundy to do a British version. It was a staple of weekday morning TV here in the UK through the early 90s.
Andrew Gilham they had a pilot that was a hopeful to get picked up here in the states, but didn’t sell. I wish it did though. This is a fun show. I think ABC could bring it back. Maybe NBC.
Two pilots for a US version of this show were done, one in 1986 and one in 1989, but neither one made a series. Reg Grundy's US production company was best known for the 80s revival of $ale of the Century and for the TV game show version of Scrabble
@@beausexon7546 Im not sure. She passed away a long time ago and I was only 4 when this was aired (if stated date is correct) . I remember her being on at least 2 or 3 of the shows. And we had them on VHS recorded off the telly
Barbie, Anthony, & Joyce and Lorna, Mike, & Terese are today's two teams for this episode of the British TV show Keynotes. Original channel: ITV (United Kingdom)
Watching this was a pleasure. All the memories of my school half term holidays came back.
This could be brought back with more modern songs
Remember being on this set!!!!
I remember this programme, I’d have been 18.
I recall Ted Robins as another host, Paul McCartney’s cousin. Sister of Kate Robins.
I was a contestant on the very first episode of this !
Nice one, did you do well?

Where was the studio for this, was the audience size large? You are very lucky!
Bring it back
This guy really like to get into peoples faces.
Great theme tune!
It was recorded in Bristol . Not massive studio . At one point when I looked at the audience I’m sure 4-5 old dears had nodded off 😂
Thanks. Have had this in my mind for a while, and couldn't remember the name of the show.
I'm from Australia and we had our own version here hosted by Richard Wilkins. I had no idea that keynotes was originally from England.
Actually, I've read where Keynotes was originally an Australian show.
Todd Wacha It was. It was released in 1964.
