I was the winning contestant on one of the shows in this series, with Vince Henderson. First show I ever did - loved it. He was really nice. I so wish I could find the episode. Thanks for uploading this.
It was good fun! I remember when I was in the lead and every answer I got right tied the leader and I thought ' just my luck'. Great to win. Rather over celebrated!
In 1985 there's a failed American pilot made by Barry & Enright using the format hosted by Jim Peck and announced by then-current Barry & Enright standby Charlie O'Donnell.
Yeah that's Sophie Aldred's Husband right there. Aldred of course played Ace in Doctor Who from 1987-89. I find it strange that she was the companion when Sylvester McCoy was The Doctor and she marries an energetic 'zany' man with wavey black hair and a lisp. Me thinks perhaps she was in love with Sylvester. She was in love with Les Dennis at one point so it doesn't say much . . . . . .
i've watched a couple of shows you were on here, and i think you should be on a few new shows. i'd love to see if you would win a million on millionaire or something
One time on an edition with the late Jeremy Beadle a contestant in Round 1 had the word 'FAST' & he said change the S to an R making 'FART' & Jeremy said 'You What' & the studio audience burst out laughing & it was broadcast.
By far the most awkward and downright dreadful gameshow I've had the grave misfortune to witness if only for 10 minutes which will forever leave scars on my already fragile psyche 😂

"And he wrote to Father *Christmas* this *Christmas* and said, erm, Father *Christmas* what can I get YOU for *Christmas* this year?".
Quality.
Thank you for uploading an edition of Chain Letters with Vince Henderson from 1996 gbgameshows brought back happy memories it did.
I wasn't able to watch this when it first aired in 1996 because I was a pupil at Rosehill School in Nottingham
I really really wish I could find the one I was on, also back in 1996 with Vince Henderson.
Blimey, this was 19 years ago!
+Wendy Ward What was it like appearing as a contestant on Chain Letters, Wendy?

I'm glad you enjoyed your time as a contestant on Chain Letters, Wendy. What was Vince like off screen?
I don't recall much interaction off set with Vince. But maybe he knew ai thought his jokes were terrible! 😉
@@WendyWowWardyou didn't realize at first that you won £1000 on the superchain
I still remember the jingles....winner so far....super chain! Like a lot of TV Shows the music was the best part!
Vince is a Great Host
I remember Jeremy Beadle, Andrew O Connor, Alan Stewart, David Spikey and Ted Robbins as hosts. But don't recall this guy

Is there any more editions of Chain Letters on the way gbgameshows?

The Following year Sophie married Vince.
Glen doesnt look well...
That middle guy looks nervous. I wonder if its a bit of Charlie and the fact hes right beside a cop.
Only really worked with Beadle/Andrew O' Connor at the helm.
I can't even remember this host. I watched it when Andrew O'Connor did it. Whatever happened to Vince? Anybody know?
I'd rather watch this than the ITV Show 'Lingo' that is a remake of this.
i liked the pace of this show - tie the leader was a bit naughty though
The big peeler has a Gene Simmons look about her.
What are the rules
MERRY CHRISTMAS ITS 2014 DEC 25 3:45AM

Daniel Woodhouse There is a small clip from the Allan Stewart era of Chain Letters.

This makes me think of numberwang - lol
DONT is not valid in Scrabble. Hmmm, strange dictionary.
Dave Spikey took over Vince Henderson
why didn't she leave the a then change the t to a c to make it crap

The host is a pain in the neck. He moves around so fast that the camera operator is having real difficulty in keeping up with him. The total prat.
The audience found his jokes crap.

change a P to a B to spell Boring...
