here in the US hotels are a bit pricy. AirBNB is popular. then we have what you call 'motels', which are cheaper and crumby and scary. the police is always at motels arresting people.
How much was cab and other transportation?
I went to some cities in Korea as a tourist, but the most impressive and the best destination is Jeju island that I want to go back again in the future after this pandemic. I love your contents of traveling around and also your bed talks are nice to listen before bed every night. Thank you.

Wait hotels in Korea provide toothbrushes... that's hilarious. You'd never see that in the US and they charge for EVERYTHING. Hell even high end hotels like the Hilton charge for internet, which is insane.
some do but from what I know they will start reducing due to regulation changes!
That whole setup was awkward. Like, can't 2 single ppl of the opposite sex just meet and be friendly without ppl implying that they should hook up?
It’s probably because we did mention that it was like a dating program but yeah I know what you mean..
The old hotel has typical wear... yea it's not super clean looking, but it's probably sanitized just fine. Sleek and white doesn't always mean clean... Ive been to some high end hotels that look nice but are actually really unsanitary. For the price and view, it's good as long as you aren't super phobic about dirt.
Traveling alone is always different than traveling with friends or family and I think everyone should try it at least once to broaden their horizons.

I have question Dan.. I'm going to Jeju do at late April, beginning of May and I have to book 2 rooms,but I have noticed that 4stars hotels are cheaper than some 3stars or hostels. 7 nights for 2 rooms are 570 000won, about ~300 000 per room for a week, which is half the price you mentioned over the video per night per room. I wonder if these 4stars hotels will be 'old' as the one you are staying in. the reviews on booking are all good so yeah. Is it okay to book 4stars hotel instead of 3 🌟. In Europe the more starts the better but I'm not sure for Korea. any advise?

Been in jeju a couple of decades ago. I'm planning to visit Korea in April of next year for a couple months and definitely will visit jeju again. I don't mind traveling alone, especially an opportunity meeting people. Again, congratz! Much love from 🇺🇸 USA❤️

I'm going to save this video.... I'm in the midst of planning my trip to Korea. How many nights was your stay in Jeju? About how much is a hotel room without a beach view in Jeju. I'm assuming it's a little cheaper. I have to figure out if I want to go to Busan first etc. I'm not into the touristy stuff. I'll mainly be going for the views/scenery, the people and the food... Also going there to do a little bit of research.... Oh if I go to that restaurant you went to. The Japanese style one. I'm going to show them this video. They probably will be surprised. ☺️

My son is a pilot for Jeju Air. Can't wait to get back there. My bucket list includes scuba diving in Jeju. He dives too.
Old shows history and can be charming. I think the place looks great! The mask that shows ones mouth is cool, people that are hard of hearing would be able to ready lips and still be safe. Val/USA

This is great! That little restaurant looked soooo delicious. Also maybe its a culture difference but it seems like people are friendly which makes traveling alone a lot more intriguing.
I think since there are a lot of solo travelers I didn’t really get stares from people for drinking alone !
