7:06 Kakao Maps is far better for buses in Jeju because there actuallly is a function within the app to see where the buses are. Naver Maps does not have this, and it has to be activated in Kakao Maps, as it is off by default; it's located in the layers icon where you can change the map from map view to terrain, sattelite, etc. It used to be called "Jeju Bus," but now it is labeled as "Hyper-accurate" and just has a symbol for a bus. This is because it was originally only for Jeju buses, but now Kakao has expanded it nationwide to other cities as well.

Thank you so so much for this video! I got so discouraged after seeing all the videos saying that travelling Jeju island isn't doable by bus.. Your video really helped me see that is is possible thank you for that!🥰
Np! I`ve done it twice so far and it was worth it and a fun adventure! I wrote more in-depth tips here. Hope you have a nice time in Jeju!: heyroseanne.com/jeju-without-a-car/
Happy New Year! I don't really remember seeing this, but I imagine it's fine coming from the airport. If you do go for it, just avoid busy hours in case they get packed
Thanks for this video! What are the prices for a rental car in jeju island? Do you recommend to book a rental before arrival or can i just rent a car when i arrive at the airport?
Hi. I have a question. Will a tourist from Seoul with a single-entry visa be able to enter Jeju? If yes, what are the requirements or documents needed? Thanks.
Could you tell in January 2024 , which areas are to visit easily with family? Planing to visit next month 7 nights trip. Could we book 2 different hotels one in Northern part ? And second in southern part? Is that good idea?? Shed some light please
It's a nice and comfortable 4-star hotel. I didn't try the breakfast. Mostly just restaurants around, but it's within walking distance to the main Jeju Bus Terminal to explore the rest of Jeju
Hi! Sorry I'm not sure! I rarely saw them on city buses. I think it's okay as long as it's not rush hour because they get packed. The only bus I did see where you could put luggage is the Airport Bus #600 which goes through the island
Which hotel or guest house will you recommend for seagwepo city. Also, if I lands at 9 pm (night), is it possible to get the bus from airport directly to seagwepo city? Thanks in advance.
I don't have a hotel to recommend, but the last bus is around 10:30pm bus.jeju.go.kr/schedule/view/600. If you take taxi, it will be around 40-50k won, though not sure if it's more expensive at night. Good luck and have fun in Jeju!
801 bus goes to Seogwipo as well, I believe. Ask at information desk. 600 bus goes around the west side of the island to Seogwipo. 801 goes through the middle, next to Hallasan and heading south.
HI, If I have 7 nights in Jeju, where would you recommend I stay? I won't be driving and no intention to join tour too.I'll be going with a 7 years old and arrive early ~ 6am in Jeju
Hi! For 7 days I`d recommend staying in Seogwipo City in the south. There`s beaches, resorts, waterfalls, kid-friendly museums, and buses that will take you to other areas. You take the airport bus #600 that goes directly to Seogwipo City

hi there, which month did you travel to Jeju in this vlog?
Hi! Mix of both late May and late July
@@RoseanneDucut i see. does it crowded in July? weather is hot or cold?
@@Dynosor-nd8ls not crowded at all. July will be hot, though not hotter than Seoul

Sorry, I only took public transit. Just make sure you apply for an int'l license if not already. Drivers in Jeju seemed tame & careful though

Hi, is it cold in Jeju by end of November?
Hi! Sorry I've never been in November. Seoul and Busan should be a bit colder than Jeju, but I'd still bring a medium-think jacket!
Weather can vary.
Last year, I was there in the middle of November. Range from 80degrees Fahrenheit down to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hi did you travel alone? Is it safe in Jeju for a solo traveler?
Hi! Yes solo traveled both times. I felt safe wherever I went
Hi could you provide hotel link please

I've taken both Jeju Air and Korean Air from Busan to Jeju, whichever was cheaper at the time of booking~
