Really appreciate you breaking that down. Looks really complicated when looking at it briefly, but the explanations help tremendously!

I have 8 in a 20gal aquarium 😅 most are xs in size with like 3 medium and large. All of them are intermediate besides 2 of them. One is a rajah x veitchii which im hoping does well. Great video 👍

Awesome stuff, carnivorous plants are so fascinating.
Lots of ways you can go about raising and caring for Nepenthes I suppose. This setup looks great if you don’t need to worry about temperature that much.
For my own future setup I’ll probably have to include space heating of some kind even indoors as our house can ambiently dip down decently below room temperature in the harsh Canadian winter months.
Keep up the updates and tutorials and such! Great work.

You should take a look at @WindowsillNepenthes channel. I believe he is based in Manitoba and has a successfully grown a very large collection of nepenthes on his window!

@IndoorCarnivores Amazing thanks for the recommendation, I'm trying to soak up all the information strategies and so forth for my attempt at it. I actually just got my first Nepenthes today which was a shock, was not expecting to find one but I also had never been to this greenhouse. Picked it and a Cape Sundew up. I'll be trying to get a reptile fogger as soon as possible, we had glass reptile enclosure not being used that I've already semi turned into a higher humidity environment for them but a fogger will really be that extra step I hope.
Anyways I'm really excited to have one now and hopefully I can scrounge up an even better set up as time goes on for them.
I'll definitely check out that channel and I've subbed here and will be watching your progress/ideas/methods for Nepenthes.
      Good day to you!

what kind of tank do you use sorry late comment

How often do you clean the defogger? Asking because the one I bought says to clean it every 2-3 days which seems like a lot. I'm wondering if animals are more sensitive to contamination than plants.

@@zacharytaylor2423 Sorry for late reply, to answer your question I clean it maybe once a month if that. Just use clean RO or Distilled water and it won’t gunk up

I noticed you don’t use any fans in your set up. No mold issues?
Were your grow lights expensive ?

No, it has an open top so airflow is already really good.
Grow lights were on the expensive end around $80. I have them linked in the description
