What a superb presentation. Very well done.

    it is fantastic
the big two stroke engine is the most beautiful motor!!!!!

Very good apart from someone trying to show how clever they are with the captions. They are difficult to read at first, the font is totally unsuitable and I don't want to have to chase it around the screen with my eyes, just put it on the screen clearly and cleanly.

    how big is your ship?
    20.000 BRT?

This is very common and accepted in the longhaul/vocational truck market.

They said something like that when boiler pressures rose to a level where they could no longer fill them by gravity from the seawater outside.
    Progress is ongoing.

The engine graphic depicts a compressor not an engine, the exhaust valve opens near bottom of power stroke, not at start of compression stroke.

a properly designed (and built...) electro-mechanical system has the same or even smaller chance of failure then a pure mechanical one...

I can't see what that has to do with the point of my comment.
In any case, a feedwater pump is thermodynamically much more efficient than an injector.

electronic injection would seem to eliminate the efficiency problems inherent in the two stroke concept..

They're not building engines at Frederikshavn anymore. MAN killed their very best factory in 2012. Today it's only a new testcenter for future engines.

Pode poluir e consumir um pouco menos, mas da muito mais problema, muito menos confiável.

oh dear electronic valve actuation...sounds like an accident waiting to happen...with mechanical s at least you have half a chance of a running repair
