Why hyd oil pressure is interconnected with engine load?? Why not a steady hyd pressure for all load. Kindly put some light on it....Indian mmd is asking in orals

Can I run the engine with one off the HPS pump fails and how to isolate the damaged pump from others so that Main Engine can be kept running??
