Several of the concrete sections you spoke about have been put in areas that would hold water after a good rain. Also, the bridge you crossed right before you turned around at the north end is not closed from storm damage. You might have noticed the further north you go the more you feel away from civilization and more connected with nature. Thanks for sharing your ride!
Thanks for the insight on the seemingly random placement of cement. I did enjoy the more remote feel of the trail and it is a bummer on the storm damage. We are also dealing with storm and flood damage on different trails here in MN. Thanks for watching!
