Plus everything you see on tables in the nucleus is free and can be sold back to the vendors there. Its just like nuka world market in that sense. Then do the mariners quest for 4k caps. Theres a guy carrying like 4k caps during the quest. All you gotta do is take it. Hes the guy who approaches you and tries to buy the tools. Do not sell him the tools. You have to kill him to get all the caps, but you can not just kill him outright. Attempt to pickpocket him and fail. This will aggro him, allowing your kill to be considered "self defense". This way you wont be locked out of other quests for killing him and you get an easy 4k caps. Also, little known fact, but the robes of atoms devoted you get upon entering the nucleus offer radiation immunity, AND give you full hp while sumultaneously allowing you to max rads. You can exploit this for double damage AND keeping full HP when using the perks "crusader of atom" or "inquisitor of atom". Its much better than walking around with 10% HP. The robes can accept ballistic weave as well. So youll still have at least halfway decent armor while having full HP. You can always use mods that allow for clothing layering with armor if you really want to, but its not actually needed for the build to work. It also scales with junkies weapons. Another fun fact, junkies scales all damage types. A junkies gamma gun with lorenzos artifact on an inquisitor of atom character can one shot literally anything without stealth or crits. It even multiplies the explosive range of the explosion. Its unbeliebably overpowered. Especially with the repeater on it, which makes each vats shoot 3 shot bursts. It makes the explosive combat shotgun look like a toy. Ive compared them and its not even remotely close. Junkies automatic lorenzos artifact gun blows every other weapon out of the water. Just keep in mind that it even though its called "automatic", it doesnt benefit from commando, but instead uses gunslingers. Btw, its technically possible to end up with both inquisitor of atom and crusador of atom perks, which quadruples your damage, BUT its glitchy. Im not entirely sure how it happened. I was playing on survival and died and lost a bunch, then when i redid the quests i did them differently the second time. Then noticed my damage was INSANE, so i checked my perks and saw i still had the other perk too as if i had done the quests the other way. So aslong as i kept the robes of atoms devoted on i had full HP, full rads, and rad immunity, plus 4× damage, times the 2.8 times damage from junkies. I was doing well over 10 times normal damage per shot, not even including the fact that the artifact gun benefits from demolition expert, and gunslinger, AND nuclear physicist. ALL of those perks scale together too. It gets to like 30× damage or more compared to a lvl 1 character
I loved my survival playthrough. Couple of tips: - Creating settlements and having caravans between them is useful. - Get rid of all molotovs. If you equip them by mistake and throw one thinking it's a grenade in close quarters, you are pretty much done. - Joining the institute will let you teleport to their headquarters, which can somewhat mitigate the lack of fast travel. - Strong back is a must. - Companions are useful as extra carrying space.

Playing sniper actually makes bullets feel real, plus it plays into the whole idea of "ammo is supposed to be scarce, make the most of every bullet". And when resource management becomes a thing, it also becomes the only viable way to play. - Look at Elden Ring, where you have a maximum of 198 arrows you can carry on you at a time, if you want to play primarily with bows or crossbows, you end up -needing- to play for maximum damage per unit of ammunition, otherwise you might kill things fast but you'll end up not being able to kill as many things before needing to refill.

A few things: 1. There is a guaranteed Pipe Bolt Action Sniper Rifle in Concord. To find it, stand at the door to the Museum of Freedom (as if you’re about to go inside). Turn left. The last house on the right at the far end of the street can be entered. Upstairs is the Rifle. No ammo, but it’s an easy and quick way to get a starter Sniper Rifle. 2. Non-ballistic damage is bugged. It only uses the weapon mods to determine damage. Perks, Magazines, Bobbleheads, etc, are not included. A mod was recently released that corrects that (Energy Weapon Calculation Fix), which I highly recommend downloading immediately.
Not seen anyone else mention it but ever since you wrote "budbloog" in one of your videos, I can't stop calling bloodbugs, "budbloogs" either. I'm glad you continue this newfound name into your other Fallout videos, thanks!
Excellent video! The "no Sneak" was an interesting wrinkle. It's pretty much a given for me on Survival. I understand why he didn't go with the perk. But avoiding stealth doesn't make much sense. So no sneak skill but sneaking seems right. Because even with a surpressed rifle and stealthing about enemies will find you, so every dungeon quickly evolves into "stealth is optional"

At first I was like "What do you mean 'Can I survive'? Stealth Sniper is like the easiest build to run with!" But then I saw your rules, and I stood corrected. Some of them aren't so bad though. I almost never use VATS (too immersion-breaking and annoyingly unreliable) or power armor (too clunky, and it adds complications to your logistics and capabilities as a player that outweigh the benefits, imo) in my runs anyway, so I just shrugged there. But yeesh, nothing BUT sniper weapons and no Sneak Perk? That's painful.
power armor makes runs so much easier once you learn how to stock up on fusion cores, it does make stealth impossible but the way it allows you to tank damage is really really useful. It feels less clunky when you use it enough and get around it's movement. VATS isn't immersion breaking to me as it is a part of the lore and overall I find it extremely reliable as long as you build correctly.
@@WillowPlaysGames Yeah, by about the mid-game, fusion cores are not a problem anymore. As for the rest, I think it's just a matter of personal preference. I know that VATS is a real thing in the lore, but, as ridiculous as this might sound considering that I'm talking about a video game, it's too "video gamey" for me. It just doesn't FEEL realistic to the setting or the environment, even though it genuinely is. As for Power Armor, it just doesn't fit my preferred playstyle. I tend to play fast, stealthy, skill-and-strategy based character builds. Power Armor is a blunt instrument made for brute force, which is anathema to the way I like to play. The added annoyance of keeping up on fusion cores and part repairs, as well as the major crimp carrying broken or spare power armor parts puts on your carrying capacity, is just the icing on the cake of why I don't like to use it.
I just prefer the Fallout 1 and 2 targeting options. You could blind enemies or shoot them in the groin. At higher skill levels, you had a chance of landing instant kills regardless of the damage roll.
when you do the quest for Paladin Danse and you are at arc jets building when you are about to turn the rocket engine on, before pressing the red button to turn the engine on you can let danse attack the snyths and they will just keep dropping from the ceiling and you can wait for however long you want so the fusion cells just keep piling up from all of the snyths that die 13:25. (I got this from a different video I saw one time I didn't figure it out myself)
Dead could make sense if the safehouse doesn't know who or where anyone from the main base is. They would only know where the dead drop is and could have some long-range signal to indicate a message ready for pickup. Whether our flag is raised or if a certain light is on.This would provide a long distance signal to indicate the dead drop is ready for pickup. Im this scenario the dad drops me set up for a long time and if the super mutants moved in after we set up the railroad outpost we have no choice but run the dead drop to that location anyway.
Of course it's possible! Things can go sideways when there are too many enemies very close to you and snipers are very low on speed when it means to take down folks in close distance.
I must addmit, after this whole shorts push of UA-cam, it is very enjoyable to wathc long format Videos liek in the old days, especialy in a Game I know and love

Nice, i thought this would be easy but i guess i was wrong. but i find it funny in this game that you can take a minigun to the face while wearing a dress and still beat a bos soldier in full power armor. so, when will the fatman only survival run come? :D
While many suggestions are fanciful, this one I’ve actually done-> No Aid items consumption. No Power Armor. No Companions. Survival. The last 3 are pretty standard. The interesting twist is no aid items. No Stimpacks, RadAway. No Chems/drugs. No Stealth Boys. No Nuka Colas. No water. No food. Anything listed in the Aid Items section. (I did allow for noodle cups, to heal hunger and thirst fatigue states. If you use them to clear both states, you won’t heal hp). It’s not a crazy hard challenge. It’s fun. You look at perks differently when they are what you use to survive. You also have to adapt to a different playstyle. If you want a little extra challenge, kill the institute-> can’t eat synths 👹👹👹
@@raideranimator6091 sneak doesnt make it too easy its only with sneak attacks that make it easy because lots of enemies will detect you fast even with max sneak
I love this run keep up the good work . I know you can, but in honor of Paul of Mitten Squad. Ill stick around to see how this goes. -Edit here Basically what I expected, but i did laugh a few more times than i thought i would. Pretty good video.
glad you enjoyed, he was an inspiration to many. hope ya stick around. Also, paul did some challenges that were a bit obviously doable as well. I like to think that challenges are more about telling a story than answering a question. if you can deal damage in any capacity you can beat these games.

CHALLAGE IDEA- Can you beat fallout 4 with only power armor RULES: You can only use power armor to deal damage(punching, falling, egcting cores ect.) Only armor you can use is power armor good luck :)
Taking down wolfgang, one frag grenade took him and his friend out in a cloud of gunpowder smoke. No demo expert required to do this either. Explosives are crazy op on survival. I do suggest two perks into explosive expert though as being able to craft mines and nades and have a throwing arc for nades is amazing.
can you make a second part where you complete the dlc's? That would be awesome and it also gives you more weapons to experiment with. Love your vids btw!!!
As a sniper in the game, my go-to weapon (if I can find it) is the lever action rifle with the two shot legendary perk Mostly because it doesn’t shoot two bullets, it just doubles the damage of the one bullet it fires outright
I was extremely surprised to see Overseer's Guardian absent from this party. Grant you, it's an expensive early game cap sink, especially if you don't have Charisma, but Grape Mentats could be a huge help with that.
Your channel is flying up my dude, I'm glad I can be here early before you get famous :* Keep uo the good work, these videos are super long yet still entertaining and that's rare. You rock, wish you all the best, I'll follow your work. Adios :]
I'm a little surprised you never attempted to get a Gauss Rifle. I understand that the ammo is heavy in survival mode, while also being rare and expensive, but it really would've come in handy for some of the tougher encounters towards the end of the game. Oh wait, is it because it never technically gets the word "sniper" in the name even if you mod it into what is effectively a sniper rifle? Or maybe you felt it would've made the end-game too easy? Also, this was a great video, and I'm impressed that you beat the game as a sniper, while on the highest difficult (plus survival mode) in addition to having so many self-imposed restrictions. Great job! 😄👏
Fair enough, and you managed to do it without a Gauss rifle anyway. Also, I’d be interested in seeing you try a survival playthrough with pistols only. Maybe see if others would also be interested in such a thing?
An explosive only run would be super interesting, or potentially a launcher only run or something. Itd be interesting to see what you could do with no real close combat option
I do well with long range marksmanship, I also grabbed the stealth suit so I can be hidden while crouched, I do have companions for storage but also while they're on the front I can stay behind and get those wonderful headshots
Will say yes no stealth perks adds to the challedge but in reality stealth is a big thing for snipers being able to get out of tight situation and get into position of advatage are all big things for snipers so but good chalendge none the less
For a difficult challenge Fat man only (the difficulty is finding the ammo) and no bowling ball, nuka cola or piggy bank versions just mini nukes (you can use the two shot and MRV)
I have an idea for a challenge run... A Legendary Challenge Run. Using the following rules: You can only use LOOTED Legendary weapons and armour. Which means no mission rewards or legendary items bought from vendors. You must use the Legendary Apocalypse mod. You must also use the War of the Commonwealth mod. And of course, you'll be playing it on Survival Difficulty. I have already completed this run twice, including playing through the three main DLCs (Far Harbor, Automatron and Nuka World). Although I have no video to prove it, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
While I understand the theme is sniping, unless he has a death wish, no sniper would be caught dead without a sidearm. If the option is there, the sniper will always carry one; specifically for up-close engagements that make this run as hard as it's supposed to be. If a companion is brought along, I'd give them a rifle or shotgun while I'd carry a pistol. If solo is the name of the game, then I would take an SMG / PDW.
In this game I'd avoid the SMG because that'll deplete your combat rifle ammo. I'd go pistol or maybe melee/unarmed weapon. Gun bash perk is mandatory for snipers.
@@BigDavetheMiddleAgeGamer This is why we mod.
Finally somebody actually makes challenge. It is ridiculous that someone claims it is a challenge and then exploits and glitches through the game.
Basically me in all my play throughs i always use a Sniper Rifle
when you do the quest for Paladin Danse and you are at arc jets building when you are about to turn the rocket engine on, before pressing the red button to turn the engine on you can let danse attack the snyths and they will just keep dropping from the ceiling and you can wait for however long you want so the fusion cells just keep piling up from all of the snyths that die 13:25. (I got this from a different video I saw one time I didn't figure it out myself)
20:04 I’m glad I’m not the only one that flips around the Bobby pin sporadically after successfully unlocking something
before the run begins I am already calling it, you'll beat this thing
The see through scopes mod is such a life changer
Dead could make sense if the safehouse doesn't know who or where anyone from the main base is.
They would only know where the dead drop is and could have some long-range signal to indicate a message ready for pickup. Whether our flag is raised or if a certain light is on.This would provide a long distance signal to indicate the dead drop is ready for pickup.
Im this scenario the dad drops me set up for a long time and if the super mutants moved in after we set up the railroad outpost we have no choice but run the dead drop to that location anyway.
VATS and the Sneak perk are a sniper's wet dream. And yes, Overseer's Guardian is a must for this.
Of course it's possible! Things can go sideways when there are too many enemies very close to you and snipers are very low on speed when it means to take down folks in close distance.
"Loot piñatas" is now my favorite way to think of enemies in the game. Hit them hard enough and they drop tasty treats.
Or long johns and boards.
"It will put me out of my comfort zone as I use iron sights" me sweating because I use iron sights on snipers
Actervate is now a new word in my personal dictionary.
'Budbloogs' amused me more than it should've. xD
Stoked for this!
This was so funny thank you for the amazing content 😂👍
I must addmit, after this whole shorts push of UA-cam, it is very enjoyable to wathc long format Videos liek in the old days, especialy in a Game I know and love
I found this channel and Juts gotta say I love this kinds of videos
does fallout 4 runs: Ayo nice
does straight to the point runs while varying factions: AYO NICE
uses Mods and explains how he uses them: AYYYYOOOOOO NOICE
Always Blows up the Institute: AAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOO NNNNNOOOOOOIIIICCCCEE
Subbed, liked, and waiting for more
I like your mod for ADS on scopes. Makes them act more like LPVOs. Cool.
Mhhh how fun I always thought of doing so This convinced me I should
hope you have fun with it!
i like how budbloogs was a typo that just became the norm
Congrats on 1mil views! I love your content man, keep it up. 🤘🏻
Thanks! Will do!
Why did you ban sneak? lets face it half a snipers job is sneaking behind enemy lines .
Fr as well as vats because some snipers have spotter for target distance and bullet drop and they have thermals and recon gear which is literally vats
@@hairylimey7709 WE NED CHALLEGE !!!!!!!
He didn’t ban sneak. He just banded the sneak perks that make his damage insane.
@@xXREDACTEDGAMERZXx because, as he said, it would make things too easy
@@raideranimator6091 sneak doesnt make it too easy its only with sneak attacks that make it easy because lots of enemies will detect you fast even with max sneak
i was there for most of the live streams for this 😎
I love this run keep up the good work . I’d like to finish by asking the question can you beat fallout for survival as a handyman only a pipe wrench in the junk jet for damage and you must wear the maintenance or red rocket coveralls As soon as possible and remain in them the entire game no power armor and for headgear you can only wear either the hardhat or mining helmet .
I know you can, but in honor of Paul of Mitten Squad. Ill stick around to see how this goes.
-Edit here
Basically what I expected, but i did laugh a few more times than i thought i would. Pretty good video.
glad you enjoyed, he was an inspiration to many. hope ya stick around. Also, paul did some challenges that were a bit obviously doable as well. I like to think that challenges are more about telling a story than answering a question. if you can deal damage in any capacity you can beat these games.
@@WillowPlaysGames You know what, didn't expect a response, think I will subscribe.
He truly was, helped get a lot of people through hard times too.
That being said I did like your script, it's nothing Zany or over the top (for my levels at least haha) that I usually like but I think that's percectly alright and still entertaining. I'm usually into over 20 minute long videos so I think I'm gonna like your channel. Take it easy and don't overwork yourself, I think I'll go rooting through another video of yours and see what's up.
Ohhh Snipers my favorite weapon in Fallout 4.
CHALLAGE IDEA- Can you beat fallout 4 with only power armor
RULES:
You can only use power armor to deal damage(punching, falling, egcting cores ect.)
Only armor you can use is power armor
good luck :)
I was actually considering an iron man style build with idea you can survive out armor long.
Very nice work, bro. I wish you good luck.
Now listen most of the times i hate the "can i beat x first person shooter with a gun!?" But you did it much better
17:18, ya, every now and then the game has to let you know who's boss. Happens to me at least once a run.
So excited to watch the vid!!
let me know what you thought when you do!
@@WillowPlaysGamesfantastic video as always! Keep up the good work mate!
Finally, the stealth archer build
I’d never expected to see a run of fallout as an 240 year old Russian Femboy Sniper
now you have, subscribe for more lmfao
using the Micolash, host of the nightmare tactics on Kellog is wild
Taking down wolfgang, one frag grenade took him and his friend out in a cloud of gunpowder smoke. No demo expert required to do this either. Explosives are crazy op on survival. I do suggest two perks into explosive expert though as being able to craft mines and nades and have a throwing arc for nades is amazing.
can you make a second part where you complete the dlc's? That would be awesome and it also gives you more weapons to experiment with. Love your vids btw!!!
As a sniper in the game, my go-to weapon (if I can find it) is the lever action rifle with the two shot legendary perk
Mostly because it doesn’t shoot two bullets, it just doubles the damage of the one bullet it fires outright
4:50 "hoping to find duct tape, but im not so lucky" vs tool can with 1 duct tape
Ah this reminds me of ... an old legend. Rest in peace 😢
I was extremely surprised to see Overseer's Guardian absent from this party. Grant you, it's an expensive early game cap sink, especially if you don't have Charisma, but Grape Mentats could be a huge help with that.
There's a nice sniper rifle on the roof of a Red Rocket just south of Mass Gravel and Sand. Sneak there when you leave the Vault.
Starfield armor in a thumbnail of Fallout 4? Ah, good old clickbait-and-switch.
That's not starfield armor. It's a mod that adds modern armor. Also, huge ass fallout 4 logo isn't really hiding what game this is.
love your videos man
Idk why my brain remembers this but there’s a nice juicy pre built pipe sniper rifle in a house next to the museum in concord 😂
Perfect. Entertainment before bed
enjoy!
And Waiting for GTA to download
Your channel is flying up my dude, I'm glad I can be here early before you get famous :* Keep uo the good work, these videos are super long yet still entertaining and that's rare. You rock, wish you all the best, I'll follow your work. Adios :]
Good work big man willow
idk why but the funny ratio with the big head long hair and super skinny body made me laugh hahaha
Ready to see Stalker and Whispering Chills play through
I'm a little surprised you never attempted to get a Gauss Rifle.
Great job! 😄👏
don't believe it gets the sniper suffix, and even then there's no reliable way to get one without being high level or going to nuka world afaik
Fair enough, and you managed to do it without a Gauss rifle anyway. Also, I’d be interested in seeing you try a survival playthrough with pistols only. Maybe see if others would also be interested in such a thing?
Bruh yes you can, strange question
power armor has a stealth debuff so it actually makes you noticed easier so banning it for your run was a smart move.
would of made the run way easier, power armor is the number one way to make survival more bearable other than purifying water
@@WillowPlaysGames yeah but stealth has guaranteed crits.
An explosive only run would be super interesting, or potentially a launcher only run or something. Itd be interesting to see what you could do with no real close combat option
This is basically how I always play FO4 survival. However I modded mine into an absolute nightmare difficulty hardcore survival game
I do well with long range marksmanship, I also grabbed the stealth suit so I can be hidden while crouched, I do have companions for storage but also while they're on the front I can stay behind and get those wonderful headshots
Ahhh. A guide to my first attempt at survival.
Will say yes no stealth perks adds to the challedge but in reality stealth is a big thing for snipers being able to get out of tight situation and get into position of advatage are all big things for snipers so but good chalendge none the less
Get the Overseers Guardian, attach a suppressor, Medium or short scope, Extended mag, Marksman’s Stock, and install the .308 receiver.
The amount of times a behemoth has taken out the synths when I’m doing the slocum joes railroad mission😂
Oooh been waiting for this one :D
For a difficult challenge Fat man only (the difficulty is finding the ammo) and no bowling ball, nuka cola or piggy bank versions just mini nukes (you can use the two shot and MRV)
I have an idea for a challenge run... A Legendary Challenge Run. Using the following rules:
You can only use LOOTED Legendary weapons and armour.
@@BigDavetheMiddleAgeGamer
This is why we mod. Get an ammo / receiver mod, make the weapons actually take the ammo they should be taking, learn some entry level game dev coding skills, and then be salty the rest of your life when you tell people to never pay full price for a Bethesda game because you'll have to learn how to become a developer yourself if you want to enjoy it, just like me.
Seriously, an SMG uses PISTOL ammo. It's a sub-caliber machinegun (SMG). A rifle is supposed to use rifle rounds. GG Bethesda. Fucking uninstall your dev team.
There goes your chance to call him "Wesley Snipes". Still a good run.
Did anyone else notice that when he said he didn't find any duct tape in the Doomsday bunker, he LITERALLY picked up duct tape in the red tool box AS he said it
Wow, I haven't seen the vault elevator platform in years. Always have to do a quick god mode before falling to the bottom
