Very impressive, For something that is not your forte, you laid it down like a boss! I've only discovered your videos recently while entertaining the thought of maybe building a few rods.
Kinda considering something I can do in retirement as a hobby. I've got the space but just thinking it over. My wife loves it when I spend money on something I do for a couple months. Thanks for letting us watch over your shoulder, trying to get ideas of what all I would need if I decided to. Your videos have definitely helped.

Holy crap Captain Lee! Whatever you charge a customer to do that is not enough. Just as long as my guides and reel do not fall off the rod and I am a happy fisherman. Nice job!

I checked out Chevron wraps when I first started making rides 5 years ago. It was too complicated. After quitting for 3 years I picked it up again 6 months ago and still bypassed the Chevron wraps because it was too complicated. I just ran across your video on UA-cam and it's never been clearer. Your explanation and the dual white thread for the top and bottom were the success ticket. This cleared up most questions and apprehensions.

What do you mean by the high side?

When you do your layout and make your marks, the high side is to my right or the tip end of those marks, and the low side, my left is towards the butt end from those marks. Not set terminology but it's what I call it.
