I have made two fresh water and two surf poles in my days. Just basic fiberglass blanks with stainless guides, a coating of color preserver for the wrapping followed by three thin coats of epoxy and three days later off on a test run. I used them well. This is a thousand dollar or more custom made pole if I ever saw one, and I have never seen one like this. This is the kind of pole you hang on a wall as a conversation piece only, and then tell your visitors to watch this video. Dayum, I could never do this. I am looking to build a new pole with lamiglas and fuji guides I think, but, just want to put it together and head to the beach or jetty. I applaud you Sir for the patience and initiative you have.
