Pretty insane to think that The Shapes were ABe's first attempt at making a robotic character, they’re pretty awesome designs and came out very well. Wonder if there are scraps of earlier interations.
After watching around 340 anime I found texhnolyze and somehow after rewatching it the second time its my favorite of all I like it even more than Initial D thanks for the experience
It is by far the most suicidal and depressing thing I have seen so far... Something is deeply wrong with this show's kind of world view. It negates any human drive for survival or creativity because of some arbitrary ideological goal that couldn't be reached. The main character just drifts around and eventually runs out of motivation... Japan something about you in the 90ies, maybe still is fcked up mentally.

well, based on the number of people I've heard who've seen the show, I can see how such a legend would be well believed.
