Hi coppersan I don’t think you remember me but I was telling you if you would make a training guide for MS and you actually did!!!! So I want to put this comment out there telling you. Thank you so very much!!! This training guide was really helpful and I’ll be using it to level up my other classes for link skill and legion :). The MS community for regular server and reboot are great full for all your wonderful videos and guides to help us progress and in general have fun :) keep it up the amazing job!!!! We are all grateful for your hard work and dedication on making these videos for us 👏😊
Deja vu? This video is gonna be very helpful for new or returning NEO update players. Lord knows I did need one when I take my breaks. Good job Coopersan.
Thanks for the nice guides for leveling and classes. I've been using this one and the classes I'm using as reference to learn the game so it's a lot easier to figure things out with videos like these. You do talk really fast though and it can be hard to understand some of the pronunciations of some things that I have to rewind the same sentence to catch what you said but overall I'm picking it up overtime. It's overwhelming to go back and forth between videos to figure out what I should do next and how to navigate the maple world along with upgrading gear, doing events, figuring out bosses and everything else but I'm enjoying the content so far. I managed to kill Hilla on my own in my first try after dying multiple times before I realized that she reflects my attacks and I have to use a cure all potion all the time (not sure what the debuff does but I get rid of it anyways just in case). I just recently got into Maplestory again. I played the original release, stopped, played again when dual blade class was out, stopped and now I'm back to check things out. I made further than ever before thanks to the Reboot server (I don't feel like spending real money on a game I'm not sure that I'll be playing for long).
My tip : for anyone thats coming into the game and has no funding and no legion or link bonuses. Try to kill monsters a few levels lower than you when you hit the 170ish mark, thats when it becomes hard to one shot mobs unless you are funded. The speed at which you kill will offset any additional exp you WOULD get from fighting monsters at a higher level.
I don't know about y'all but I still find xenon to be one of the easiest classes to train. It has a arsenal of up to 5 stationary summon skills and one that follows you. You can use these summons to help you map clear easily. If these summons are cycled properly the xenon becomes hella easy to train. So easy that at some points all you have to do is stand there and let your summons and aegis rockets do all the work. I love this play style because it gives your hands a break from having to constantly be smashing keys for hours on in. Oh and great video once again. You always give them that classic touch
If you look around theres some good progression guides for gear, but honestly its not too difficult early-mid game, especially in reboot where its just kill every boss you can.
Hi there, great guide as usual. Wanna ask ask im from SEA, is there anyway i can download and play reboot? Like e.g , getting different ip add or anything? Thanks
Tbh, is it more worth it to level up while doing Quest contents (and get the benefit of completing the quests, such as traits, items, etc) rather than grinding at one spot till you reach the next stage?
just found this video and i will check as i hit levels. any main story quests i have to do or just sidequests like job advancements and what else shows up at the lightbulb
I will actually go Garbage Dump from lvl10 until lvl40, and go Kerning for Snake until 56, and go Sleepywood for Drake until 69, and go Magatia for the mouse until 81, then go Magatia as well for the doctor until 101lvl, then go Leafre for red bird until 115, and Ludibrium left side portal from Papu boss map, until 140, then I’m done. It only takes 1 hour-2 hours depends on Classes and exp buff
Hey coppersan, thanks for yet ANOTHER great video that I'm always reverting back to for any new character. One thing I have to mention, I am getting slapped in almost any map above 170 on my pathfinder. Is this normal, or am I just bad? LOL
There are a ton of progression guides available on UA-cam and reddit. It also depends what server you choose to play on (regular vs reboot). For an enjoyable first experience I would recommend taking your time exploring the game through quests as you progress to 200. The real grind and focus on gear improvement happens once you go beyond level 200. Good luck!

So, I was thinking about coming back next week with the Burning event and have been looking to all the new classes. I'm looking for a class that has a bit of everything, so a class that is not a tank, but doesnt' get one-hit. Is not support, but can bring useful stuff to a team. Is not a damage dealer, but is not short on damage. I also would like it not to be a 50 buttons masher, but also not a one button spammer. I think Battle Mage fits into that pretty well, since it has good HP to resist one-hits, support via auras and party shield and doesn't have bad damage. What I fear about it is that it might be a bit of a button masher with the telecasting. What is your opinion on this?
