I stopped playing but I'm thinking about coming back this year to play on reboot. I just wanted to wish you well and say I'm personally impressed with all the content and work you've put into your channel over the years.
dont come back. its not the same game. it will never be the same. the social aspect got chewed up, and spit out the window. everything is completely different.
I came back recently after also having not played since 2013. Im loving it. Don’t expect to actually level as fast as coppersan but this is still a good guide.
Returning player here, back from 10 years ago. For now, I'm lv. 40 Ark after 4h, reading dialogues of the story quests and chill grinding. That's too fast for me when I remember taking months to level up to 60 back in the day. So I don't care if I need 100h for this video only, I want to enjoy the game not rush through it. I see there are way too many menus now in MS. This video is overwhelming for me, but also helpful, as I'd be even more overwhelmed without any guide. Thank you for this and all your videos.
Something i never see talked about is how certain skills like decent holy symbol and sharp eyes, along with certain buff skills and hyper skills, can be set as auto buff on pets with the auto buff skill. Makes life way easier and keeps those skills constantly up, and keeps you from getting overwhelmed from monitoring all your buffs too
Really helpful content, started playing last week and the first series already helped a lot. Watching this one now and understanding what i've missed from this super early game is just amazing
I just got back into maple after 15 years of knowing nothing about with what maple has changed within that time frame. I made a character on burning server and couldn't believe how fast I got to level 19 within very few hours. Back then, all I remember was that, if you were 200, you had a respectful reputation for yourself. Now I'm like X_X I'm gonna start Reboot today and go back to my original class Marksman. I heard that class has deffently increased over the years with attack changes. I'm super stoked. Keep making videos. I'll follow ya. You got my subscribe 🙃

I played Maplestory back in 2005-2008 and it seemed like such a large world back then, but now... it feels like there are never ending menus for stats and boosts with no end in sight. Getting to Level 200 in a single day seems cool, though.

theres just way too many little menus and features for making your stats more powerful. everytime i think about trying to play i end up being overwhelmed with all the little things i need to know
Yeah shame there's not like a way to ease people into all the menus, because current players got used to more and more menus being added over time, and knowing about things that were changed from old versions and put in different spots, that it's hard to just talk new players through everything.
@@VellarVT there are many ways though..? they have plenty of progression based quests that unlock over the levels to let you know about the various systems like potential, starforce, legion, etc. Its up to the person whether they skip the quests and dialogue or not
Lmao, I have like 12+ hrs in and I am only at lvl 190 ish.... So hard to keep track of all the training spots and which quest lines to do for rings and stuff.
Damn. I can't believe they are just giving out CRA gear. I remember spending weeks and weeks in Reboot dying to Vellum on my Aran. How the times have changed.
I came back to Maplestory today, you didn't ask but wasn't playing because I didn't have a stable job for the last few months, anyway, I came back to Maple today, found out the Hyper Burning event was on and in the back of my head, Kanna was a really good starter character in Reboot, at least it set me up decently when starting in Bera a few years back after I moved from the emptyness that was ElNido. Now, I reach lvl 60 pretty quick just to find out Kishin doesn't increase spawn rate anymore 🤡. Read some posts that now any character you'd like to main is decent but a good mobber is always great, would you agree with that for Reboot? Been thinking about Demon Slayer after the time to delete Kanna passes to Hyper Burn DS instead, is it good?
Is Silent Crusade Quest for the ring gone or something? I could only start the beginning which took me to the Subway in Kerning, after that it’s nowhere to be found. Not in the Quest-menu nor the hotkeys
I just installed the game I don't know how to do anything. I picked lara class and can't get past the first lvl 10 quest. I keep dying. I thought I could use magic but nope just a staff that's super slow as a melee weapon.

Since I deleted my first reboot character (Adele level 185 hyperburned) who had all the new reboot rewards, should I make an entire new account (reset account) in order to get those rewards? Or are they not as important to restart my entire account for? I'm a new player with a level 90 Kanna and a level 120 Hyper Burn Bucc.
I started by making 14 classes to level 70 for the link skills and legion and now doing 70 to 140 with help of zakum/monster park… is this method wrong? Im already 1.5k legion, Should i do a class to level 210 first?

omg, it took me 6 hours to reach lv 80, experience in the game really makes a difference hahaha, how can you get levels so fast, on a new account? The training doesn't give so much xp, since it takes me a while to kill the monsters...

Well, now that the hyper ignition event has passed, the game seems really unfriendly to new players. You only get one pet snail that lasts for about a day, then once it goes away, you have to mash the pickup button if you want to pick up anything, which is a painfully slow process. You pick up one item every half-second that way, which might *seem* like a lot, but keep in mind that most looting quests require upwards of 50 enemy drops, you have to be directly on the items to pick them up, and you have to do that while being knocked around by the constantly respawning enemies. I'm at level 100 right now, and it's been a really long and painful process, but if I get to level 200 without seeing a single pet, I think I'm just going to stop playing.
Theres a quest that gives a little lamb pet thing. Lasts like 2 weeks i think, I think the quest is called Do you know about pets? Given by the maple admin npc I think it was lightbulb left side of screen quest. I just started playing too, and I'm 6 hours in and only level 77 I think I'm doing something wrong. I'm playing reboot and no burning cuz the event is over

Sadly this just reinforced that this game has become much too complicated from what I liked as a kid rip. Too many systems to keep track off really, it just sounds like a hassle. Guess it isn't for me
You lost me at "first 10 hours you'll be level 208" Bro I'm level 65 with 2.2Mil mesos because of the quests. I must be doing something wrong. How do I even get equipments???
good guide but man but it many cases it seems you set a certain level of knowledge :D now the guide seems to be for more advanced players and not noobas like me (mesos are missing for star upgrades, no skills to link) but still helped a bit even if i got quite a few questionmarks, would be awesome if you could do a lvl 1-200 guide on a very new account, with no mesos linkskills and stuff and show everything step by step! that would be awesome!
Because it is a Fresh hyper burn in reboot. He gets the fresh acc rewards for reboot WITH event rewards. You get a reboot box with mesos at certain levels.
this guide is so chaotic for a new player... you just talk about these things as if it's an given.. you also were talking about housing quest instead of explaing what the 199-202 scrapyard thing was... completely skipping it... way too fast and all over the place.. what the crack...

UE's can wear equipment 10 levels earlier and Thief UEs benefit from Drain skill. Everything else is useless, I reckon.

Main or boss mule. The current burn goes up to 250, you don't need to go that high for links so it would be a waste.

Zakum and Horntail used to be two of the hardest bosses in the game and required full parties and he just solo'd them lol

this is a brand new account! no link skills or legion, any meso so far came from the reboot box you get on a new account on reboot servers
