Basically monster park and zakum-to-horntail everyday and finished every high-bonus quest as many as I could. It took me about five months. Thanks to the Masteria quests they gave me the final push. Much appreciate this video because the next character I want him to be an hero XD.
Does MS still have a proper playercount? I'd love to jump on a server, make a new account and play as one of the ol classes, but I don't like playing mmorpgs when there's no one around
I had no clue there’s all this modern content to make mapler’s lives easier. I really like the meso maker where you can wait a week for it to double. Makes me want to get back on maple for a week or 2 then quit another 18 months 😅
It's like Maple gives us these quests and dungeons to actually level 😆 and not be there as chores! Haha On the real, old Maple was grind heavy with occasional quests to improve equips/stats in order to just grind somewhere else. I think many of the quests and dungeons are underrated for leveling! Gonna try a solo quest/dungeon leveling push on a new character soon!
It's not the same (added a lot of content - quest, monsters, areas and removed/changed some places) but a lot of it still feels like it did during 2006-2009. A lot of the same early questline and places to train are the same. The real differences show up 110+ in training and bossing compared to before.
Hahaha busted! I was originally planning to go drop some mesos on this character. But I decided to make this video instead so removed it and didnt use any :)
I'd also recommend filling your empty totem slots by doing Afterlands at some point around your 80s (between Orbis and Ariant on your guide), if you're not in a rush. Plenty of guides online can tell you how to speedrun it in under an hour. You'll gain 3 permanent totems that give ATK/MATK and a fine ATK/MATK set effect, while earning a few levels in the process too. If you're going to do daily boss runs, you may want to collect more of the boss run set items for their set effects. You may as well unlock Easy Magnus at level 115 regardless, which'll take under five minutes for non-Nova classes (Kaiser, Angelic Buster, and Cadena will have to complete their beginning class storyline quests first), since you'll have to defeat him for your 5th job advance when you reach level 200. Easy Magnus can also drop the Black Metal Shoulder set item. Easy Horntail is simple to unlock at level 130 and can drop three more set items: the Silver Blossom Ring, Dea Sidus Earring, and Horntail Pendant.

Damn, i remember brandish being 4th job skill, and before getting that you were using the first job attack mix with combo attack, heroes were doodoo back in the day, I’m glad heroes got better in time seeing brandish being 2nd :’)

I think this a really good video for new players. As he stated though if your in reboot you probably dont wanna follow this. In reboot you gain a passive 2% damage every two levels i think. So at lvl 100 ur essentially doing 100% extra damage. Although he is right about von bon equips giving more boss damage i think pensalir is you best choice. It does give less overall stats but all of your potentials and star force can be transfer hammered over when you get the chaos root abyss set. That set is basically your go to set until you hit late game. In reboot you also gain just way more exp by just grinding. And a really good training guide can be found if you just search “maplestory reboot training guide” in google.
Amazing guide!! but why not do Gold Beach for the extra 1mil, earrings and 200 spell traces? That's usually what I do and if you do all 3 Themed Dungeons you end up like level 63 which also helps to get more 3rd job skills in the early stages

People put up cheap and useful items such as mastery book 20 and 30, especially since the mastery book from the event is tradable. Because these days so many people have been playing, you can also get cheap silver blossom ring, aquatic eye accessory, condensed power crystal and dea sidus earrings from AH as well. These items have boss accessory set effect which is very strong and easy to get in the early stages.
I've played maplestory on and off since 2007 and im amazed how little of the game i accually know! every time i pick up the game there are new things to learn and all i've learned is now outdated and no one is doing it anymore!
Additionally, the pixel shop has pretty cheap mastery books, elixers, and teleport rocks. Currently leveling my legions and it's saving me a bunch of money.
remember when the lvl 30 mastery books had a 30% chance of working and they were reliant on some of the hardest to find/beat monsters. the worst was scrolling items which would blow up your equip when failing to scroll it

I was wondering in the equipment part after level 100, i get the equipment for normal characters that you recommend, but how long would you use frozen gear set(from a burning character)? Ive heard people say until lvl 200 but that sounds strange, should i try getting the von leon gear instead?

you may or may not know but with the current pixel event with 300 pixel points u can buy all 10 skill books for the lvl 20 and 30 for your chars and best of all if you have multi chars do it with all of them and and place the books you dont need in your storage their not untradeable or expire im currently doing that with all my chars it cost around 100 mill to get all your skill books to lvl 20 and then lvl 30 it barries depending on the chars skills some use more than others but the round park is around 100 mill thats a big save on mesos imo just a quick fyi.
Don't buy mastery books when you are a new player. Do quest content that awards mastery books instead (Silent Crusade gives mastery books in chapter 3 and you can buy more in the coin shop, you get tons of coins from doing daily bosses anyway. Lion King's Castle quest line gives 2 mastery books. Korean Folk Town gives 2 mastery books. Crimsonwood Keep gives you 2 sets). You'll save TONS of mesos that way (in new player terms... obviously dumping a couple dozen M on mastery books isn't a big deal for established players, but it's total waste of money for new players who really have few ways of getting it easily). I should also mention that if you're still lacking rings by the time you can solo Hard VL, if you've finished the rose garden quest line you can trade in 10 Ifia's accessoires to get the Noble Ifia's Ring, which is actually a pretty decent ring (can be starforced up to 15*). Hard VL usually drops 2-3 pieces of Ifia accessoires per run, so if you don't have access to the really good rings yet this one is definitely worth getting.
@@Congest_ I'm not Coppersan, so take this with a grain of salt, but I think this is just slightly less faster compared to just mobbing but it's more effective since you round out your equipment and mesos from the questline/dungeons. Mobbing will be faster if you're funded with equips and mesos as you level up from training spot to spot.
Did you use epic pot scrolls for anything? Your range is crazy compared to mine at the same levels. If so, how did you get enough of them to upgrade your stuff?
Some important thing is to also go to ursus at the 12 hour interval that gives double mesos: In GMS NA it's from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. UTC (so 3 a.m.- 3 p.m. PST and 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST) I don't know if they use the same times for GMS EU

For 130 to 140 you should consider the map before zakum as a training spot its really good but its a starforce map, lv 140 to 150 there is a burning black wyvern nest map in minar forest
Another easy way for fast mesos is to kill every pianus in every channel and just sell the potions to the npc. You could get an easy 10m if you do all 20 channels

The Afterlands I think, though it may be worth noting that these totems give 20 primary stat and 31 Attack power while madhouse totems give 82 primary stat and 22 Attack power
Your videos is informative, but may you please explain how you're doing so much dmg already. I started a fresh new account and my fighter does do nearly as much dmg as yours. I don't know how much link skill contribute to this but it would be helpful to know.

Hey! How many hours/day would you say that you spent leveling? After 175+ i just find grinding horrendous.. Also im unable to play Ursus during the double meso time due to schedules, any tips to get mesos beyond that? Im also on Luna EU, thanks! :)
You can use the legion store to get 50% growth potions that you can use until you reach level 180! Or get 2x exp cards from that store. Get some 10% bonus exp cards from monster park as well :)
If we have tera burning on, should we still follow this guide for the equipment or just use the free temp CRA equipment? If so what should we focus to get to replace the free temp CRA equipment/gear/weapon? I am currently level 157 hayato main.

So I used to play maplestory back in the day back when basically all you did was grind. I'm curious what do you do at end game in MS now a days? Seeing people hit 200 in x hours is so weird to me. What do you do once you're 200?
You spend about $1600 a piece for endgame gear and wind up in debt with the bank foreclosing your home trying to get 6 BiS lines on your non tradable gear like badge and emblem.
I remember playing back in the way with my cousin, it was so fun. Now that I wanna play maple again I got no one to play with. In my opinion maple is 10 times better playing with a friend

just so you know, you can play without spending money there, it is just that it is easier to play with spending a bit of money. basically, grind your legion up and defrag all the lv 140 gear and sell those superior item crystals, those with money buy it for crafting cubes. and once you hit lv 200+ you can do the fallen tree and scrapyard weeklies, people will pay you alot of money for it. with enough mesos you will be able to get the CRA gear and then work your way up from there. or if you are lucky and meet a nice person he might as well give few for you.

Tried to do hieizen temple at lvl 150 on a night lord and you do so little damage 😭 The boss fights take forever. Had to give up cause I didn't have the time. This is a great guide though 👌
How is the dmg reaching million at lvl 140+? That’s crazy. I’m at 140 and my dmg is only 200k per line. Playing as kanna on reboot . Does the job determines the dmg amount?
It really depends on how much damage your doing. Even if your a high level if you dont do damage then your out of luck. It also depends on how good you are at dodging his attacks.
Heizen temple feels impossible, im doing it as lvl 148 and the bosses just 2 shot me... any tips or tricks? Should i just come back when im a higher lvl?
I hopped back on maplestory after 8 years (2012). I was 10 back then playing with my level 185 xenon. I lost my account because obviously I was young and it’s been very long. I created a new account with my main as Phantom. I’m level 112 now😅😂, it took about 7 hours tho😂😂. Aye this guide helps tho, messed up on the zakum because I fought normal zakum at level 92 and was only doing one damage to it😂
@@allenshafe3852 no worries it isn't a race! As long as you're having fun! If you want to train faster you can get 2x exp cards in the legion store and on some days from monster park! As well as on some days in the daily login bonus!

Don't ignore spell traces on reboot... they can be sold to vendors for mesos at around 5k each.

Meso loop? I remember seeing in korea folk Town there was a 100 spell trace for 435000 meso. So if I keep looping this I earn 65k for that?

I would say at lvl 75-115 do the afterland dungeon, in the warrior world you can farm exp by doing last man standing challenge.

Also Ninja Castle's secret shop has Ginger Ales which heal you for 75% HP and MP for 3.8k each which are very cheap and amazing potions.

@@Congest_ I'm not Coppersan, so take this with a grain of salt, but I think this is just slightly less faster compared to just mobbing but it's more effective since you round out your equipment and mesos from the questline/dungeons.
Mobbing will be faster if you're funded with equips and mesos as you level up from training spot to spot.
Did you use epic pot scrolls for anything? Your range is crazy compared to mine at the same levels.
If so, how did you get enough of them to upgrade your stuff?
Some important thing is to also go to ursus at the 12 hour interval that gives double mesos:
In GMS NA it's from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. UTC (so 3 a.m.- 3 p.m. PST and 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST)

For 130 to 140 you should consider the map before zakum as a training spot its really good but its a starforce map, lv 140 to 150 there is a burning black wyvern nest map in minar forest

Another easy way for fast mesos is to kill every pianus in every channel and just sell the potions to the npc. You could get an easy 10m if you do all 20 channels

Some recommendations. There's a theme dungeon that rewards totems too
The Afterlands I think, though it may be worth noting that these totems give 20 primary stat and 31 Attack power while madhouse totems give 82 primary stat and 22 Attack power
that dungeon is realy bugged though

Your videos is informative, but may you please explain how you're doing so much dmg already. I started a fresh new account and my fighter does do nearly as much dmg as yours. I don't know how much link skill contribute to this but it would be helpful to know.
How to get mastery books on non-reboot: go to henesys and beg. worked for me :^)

I think by the time you get the von leo set, you would already have the panselir set from grinding goblins in the last map of korean town.
Hey! How many hours/day would you say that you spent leveling? After 175+ i just find grinding horrendous.. Also im unable to play Ursus during the double meso time due to schedules, any tips to get mesos beyond that? Im also on Luna EU, thanks! :)
You can use the legion store to get 50% growth potions that you can use until you reach level 180! Or get 2x exp cards from that store. Get some 10% bonus exp cards from monster park as well :)

So I used to play maplestory back in the day back when basically all you did was grind. I'm curious what do you do at end game in MS now a days? Seeing people hit 200 in x hours is so weird to me. What do you do once you're 200?
You spend about $1600 a piece for endgame gear and wind up in debt with the bank foreclosing your home trying to get 6 BiS lines on your non tradable gear like badge and emblem.
I remember playing back in the way with my cousin, it was so fun. Now that I wanna play maple again I got no one to play with. In my opinion maple is 10 times better playing with a friend

Thanks Coppersan, I was thinking of getting out of reboot because it’s too populated. Might try another world out, kind of bummed my OG world, windia, is gone.
just so you know, you can play without spending money there, it is just that it is easier to play with spending a bit of money.
basically, grind your legion up and defrag all the lv 140 gear and sell those superior item crystals, those with money buy it for crafting cubes. and once you hit lv 200+ you can do the fallen tree and scrapyard weeklies, people will pay you alot of money for it.
with enough mesos you will be able to get the CRA gear and then work your way up from there. or if you are lucky and meet a nice person he might as well give few for you.

A Sparrow no, they merged it alongside with a couple other worlds into one server which is now called Aurora. But all my buddies hopped on the reboot life, so I managed to follow along haha

Tried to do hieizen temple at lvl 150 on a night lord and you do so little damage 😭 The boss fights take forever. Had to give up cause I didn't have the time. This is a great guide though 👌

How is the dmg reaching million at lvl 140+? That’s crazy. I’m at 140 and my dmg is only 200k per line. Playing as kanna on reboot . Does the job determines the dmg amount?

It really depends on how much damage your doing. Even if your a high level if you dont do damage then your out of luck. It also depends on how good you are at dodging his attacks.

I hopped back on maplestory after 8 years (2012). I was 10 back then playing with my level 185 xenon. I lost my account because obviously I was young and it’s been very long. I created a new account with my main as Phantom. I’m level 112 now😅😂, it took about 7 hours tho😂😂. Aye this guide helps tho, messed up on the zakum because I fought normal zakum at level 92 and was only doing one damage to it😂
when you were playing that hero was it 3 days with normal sleep times and everything else or non stop playing?
I only played a couple of hours per day

@@allenshafe3852 no worries it isn't a race! As long as you're having fun! If you want to train faster you can get 2x exp cards in the legion store and on some days from monster park! As well as on some days in the daily login bonus!

Hello Coppersan, I can't do any of the theme dungeons as the lightbulb with the quests on the side don't have it at all, like it doesn't show up so I can't do anything from the dungeon, I was wondering if there is something wrong?
