Kate Kane and Luke Fox were both in Arrowverse but were not done justice there at all. But now the whole Bat family will be introduced in James Gunn's DCU starting with an upcoming DCU film called The Brave and the Bold.
In the original story, Bruce and Talia's "night of passion" was supposed to be consenting and romantic. A big step in their relationship. Later on, years later, it was retconned into being nonconsensual. According to the writer, he didn't reread the original before making the newer version, so he got details wrong such as it being nonconsensual vs consensual, being in a dessert when it wasn't, Talia giving the baby away vs keeping it, and etc. It was also at a time when Batman's main ship was shifting back over toward Catwoman, so they really wanted to kill his thing for Talia. You can see this in The Dark Knight Rises where Catwoman is the good love interest and Talia is the evil love interest.
In The Comics, the Heretic was even more fucked up. He killed Damian(A.K.A. The child he was cloned from) on Talia`s orders and when Bruce returned to avenge his son and broke Heretic`s mask he saw Damian`s baby face.

It was originally a consensual and romantic event, but Grant Morrison said that he didn't reread the original story when writing the follow up and so got details wrong such as it being nonconsensual vs consensual, being in a dessert when it wasn't, Talia giving the baby away vs keeping it, and etc.
@@s-wo8781 That's what it was supposed to be when Morrison introduced Damien. But after all the wrong details, Superboy Prime's continuity changing punch, and the New 52, it's left cannon around it distorted. That's according to Morrison himself. He said that after finding out that his details were so wrong, he decided to just say that was another effect of Superboy Prime's punch to retcon it. Like Jason coming back to life. So in universe, Superboy Prime turned Talia into a rapist. It's not great, but that's how messy DC's continuity had become. There are videos and interviews with Morrison where he explains how that mistake happened.
Talia really pulled an Omni man 😂
OMG I hope you enjoy Young Justice! I know some people don't like season 3 and while I agree it's the weakest, it's still really good imo. People just got used to the S tier standard of the first two seasons.
(Also if you love Dick Grayson, you'll love this version)
And why should we lower the quality standard?
The reason fans asked so hard for a third season was precisely because of the quality of the first two.
@@Master_of_Merol81 I think they just needed time to get back into the series again. I think S4 is gonna be better
No matter the quality I appreciate Young Justice Outsiders for Bowhunter Security. Bowhunter Security, always on point 👉
@@Animemus fax
@@Master_of_Merol81 dude show have bad seasons time to time. Plus it wasn’t even bad just not as good as the first 2 there’s a difference
That part with Batwoman fighting her father, she was like, "Fighting your father must be SOOO terrible." , but Damian fought Bruce in Batman vs Robin.
I know a lot of people believed it was the Lazarus Pit that drove Talia to do this, but sadly she was always like this. There was too much of her father's influence in her.
It's still weird to me that Batwoman is Batman actual cousin
To me it’s like knowing Supergirl is the cousin to Superman
@@chrisbrown5108 I mean kind of, Batwoman was created not too long ago and it's weird because Batman always seems like he don't have family members anymore
Glad you're watching Titans!! Can't wait til you get to season 3!!
The reason why Talia is like this because of her last dip in the Lazarus pit in the son of batman
Yeah!! Thanks for making this comment. So hopefully Krystal can finally understand why Talia was acting insane
Yeah it turned her into Ra’s Al Ghul 2.0
4:56 how fast your face changed had me in pieces LMAO
The child he was cloned from) on Talia`s orders and when Bruce returned to avenge his son and broke Heretic`s mask he saw Damian`s baby face.
thats was mad hatter they call him tetch cause its his last name like Jervis Tetch I do apologize if someonelse comments the same things I said.
Bruce Wayne and Kathy Kane are actually related because they are cousin because Kate dad and Bruce mom were siblings.
Right now there three poc in the Batfamily
Mad Hatter is the nickname. Jervis TETCH is the real name. 😘
@15:00 Renee Montoya a former officer of the Gotham City police, leaves the force due to the corruption within and being outed as lesbian by Two Face which destroys some of her relationships with friends and her highly religious family. Broken and out of the job she becomes an alcoholic but is confronted and mentored by the Vigilante/Detective known as the Question real name Vic Sage, who later dies from cancer but passes down the mantle to her to take over as the Question.
She was originally a character from the Batman Animated series.
She loves Nighwing so much, this won’t end well in Justice League Dark: Apocalypse
Agreed 😏
I think you'd be happy to know that at one point in the comics nightwing considered adopting damian :d
@Mamba23 yup ^^
Sad fact: Talia never raped Bruce in the original story, a writer (I forgot his name) changed it and when people asked him why, he just said that he forgot.
I bet he didn't 🤨😏😏😏
batGIRL was originally batWOMANs sidekick before Barbra Gordon took up the mantle
18:07 krysta is cool ppl but that's a tad bit out of touch. imagine being nothing more than replacable piece of meat but still having the same desire to be loved and your supposed mother wants nothing to do with you
27:45 omni-man vibes "what's 17 more years, i can always start over, make another kid"
Glad to know that I wasn't the only one a bit put off by her comments. "You're just a clone" and "This is pathetic"? We're all clones of our parents in a way. He was basically a test tube baby who was bred to follow Talia's orders. He just wanted some love too, being her son and all. Sorry, it just hit a soft spot for me.
The names get more creative for later characters for example: Spoiler, The Signal, Oracle, Huntress and Orphan
Read the title and all I could think of was Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 2 "We could've been a good couple, we could've had something special together, but you are one crazy ass bish!"
Wish my guy Jason Todd was with the Bat family, but this was a great reaction Krysta.
Well maybe in the new one some say, since in this universe Jason and Tim never became Robins
@@xtrlsidma that’s true
You should really react to Doom Patrol... That show's wild
"Batwing" is pretty awful...but not as bad as "The Signal".
Let it go, Bat-writers! Names don't need to be Batman related!
@Krystalogy
Batman and James Bond have one thing in common:
They sure know how to pick their ladies.
Hope to see a Young Justice reaction. Nightwing in that is fantastic. Also that other guy is Killer Moth, a joke character that this movie actually made kinda cool
The Robin monthly in the mid-90s made him downright frightening.
@@AutoPilate And don't get me started on the Teen Titans and the 2003 Batman cartoon. Man was a literal moth
Onyx in the comics was not a villain. She was trained by villains but she became a right hand of Orpheus who was a vigilante Batman installed as a gang leader in Gotham to control the more reasonable gangs. After Orpheus was killed she took over and kept the situation in her territory safe for normal people and her subordinates out of trouble with the police.
9:55 Many lol, Bruce taught him well
23:02
*Hat Throwing contest MEME*
Mad Hatter throws his hat cutting necks
Kung Lao: A fellow Checker eh?
One thing I love about this movie is how the characters are drawing I love Phil art style especially the way he draws the guys
I know this was a year ago, but there are other characters in the Bat Family that we don't get in the New 52 movies. You already know Red Hood and there's another Robin who becomes Red Robin and then Drake for a time, but we also get heroes like Orphan, Spoiler, and Signal (the last of which I'm waiting for them to bring into any kind of DC property)
Most people sleep on Alfred. He's a former member of the British Intelligence group. He's definitely no punk!
I could be wrong but it didn’t seem like you realized Bruce had been hypnotized the whole time when they got him back. So when he initially said he didn’t want anyone else in the family, it’s not because he was stubborn (at least that wasn’t the only reason lmao) but because more people would lower Talia’s chances
Dick and Damian are the best. Dick is Damian's surrogate Dad and the person he loves the most in the world
All the Ls from tryna guess who the bat person was 😂
"My boy Batman...I mean Batgirl...yo WTF is that" perfect reaction
20:22 “They’re breakdance fighting!”
I was just watching your son of Batman and Batman vs Robin commentary so the timing was perfect! I love your reactions and you’re so pretty 💕
since Talia was saved/ brought back to life with the Lazarus pit her mind was corrupted. like Jason
27:33 - 27:47 Omni-Man: "You wanna die for this planet?! Fine! What's 17 more years?!" *punch* "I can always start again-!" *punch* " *Make another kid!* "
Watching these for the first time myself now, I just find it funny with the split up fights near the end everyone gets paired with basically their counterpart (Kate/Talia, Dick/Bruce, Batwing/Firefly) and then Damien gets paired against Tusk.
The purple villain in the beginning is named Killer Moth
In the comics, Heretic made his debut by running a sword through Damian's chest and killing him.
If you wanted to see more of this Nightwing, you could watch this universe’s teen titan movies!
@11:58 Kuttler is the villain known as the Calculator. I know silly name, anyways he's a Machiavellian strategist with genius level intellect and technical knowledge. He seems like a low tier villain but he actually was part of the high council within this Secret Society of Villains alongside Lex Luthor, Talia, and Deathstroke. In regards to being someone's nemesis I would say he would be Barbara Gordon's aka Batgirl/Oracle with all the computer hacking between them. He's a pull the strings from behind the scenes kind of guy.
He's a low-tier villain because he's smart enough to not get caught. ;-) He's like Lex and Nymga, only without the crippling ego tripping him up.
Jarvis Tetch is the mad hatter, bats has a lot in his rogues gallery so I can relate in not knowing them all. Same with the Flash he also has a lot of baddies in his rogues gallery
Batwoman / Kate is also Bruce’s cousin from his moms side
Krysta’s editor is a savage lol.
Batwing is one of the cleanest characters in the batfam also one of the smartest too
They had the opportunity to make a strong original black character but instead chose tokenization
@@MrMpa31 ok then 🙄
@@trevorghalt1881 the smartest out of everyone?
@@RazuX5 not number one but definitely top five, I would say Bruce Tim and Barbara are smarter but he's like four or five
Funfact about the Heretic
Spoiler alert in Batman Incorporated Comics
He killed Damian, and Talia was dissapointed so she killed him. Don't worry tho, Batman literally fought Darkseid with a special armor to bring him back.
3:47 if killer moth
13:57 Tetch IS The Mad Hatter (Real Name: Jervis Tetch)
If Combat Nuns are your kink, check out the trailer to Hitman Absolution.
All it took was one dip in the pit and Talia became more dark than her father.
The thing that I love about Damian is that he didn't even try to save or join his mother he was with the shits he's like aight bet you wanna kill me come at me then
I will forever dispose Grant Morrison for ruining Talia
I love the grant Morrison run of comics that are sort of based on this movie plus the other two movies - when nightwing becomes Batman mantles because of Bruce’s absent/ possible death.
13:53 that's the mad hatter, his real name is jarvis tetch.
I remember me and my sister laughing our assses off when those nuns pulled out those guns.
This movie was good love the video Krystal stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
They're calling the Mad Hatter Tetch because that's his actual name. Jervis Tetch.
Hishe series Batman: "Because you know we got Baaaaaaaat Bloooood!"
I hope to EVERY GOD in existence that when WB introduces Talia that they use the actress who does her voice in these animated movies. She's Morena Baccarin, from Firefly, V, Sargate SG-1 and Gotham. She's the perfect Talia.
You must always fear the battle nuns they kick holy ass
28:34 the way she was running bruh
20:20 looks like he was trying to do capoeira
Talia would die before killing Damien, what needs to be realised is that the more trips you take into the Lazarus Pitts, the more your sense of morality and humanity erodes. Jason Todd's evolution into the ruthless Red Hood also was largely due to the Lazarus Pitt.
Batwoman is Bruce cousin Kate Kane and Elizabeth is Kate twin sister.
Jervis Tetch is the name of the mad hatter in case you didn’t know lol
Talia is so crazy cause once you enter the pit your body can come out fine but your mind can make you go crazy
