I was at this show. Does anyone remember in the middle of one the songs when a very tall man walked out with a duffel bag, Maynard crawled it, he zipped it up and carried him around for a little while, then unzipped it and Maynard popped out to continue singing? It was so random and hilarious.

I was at this show and Tenacious D got booed like mad. Nobody really knew who Jack Black was yet. I thought they were hilarious although the acoustic vibe wasn’t sitting well with the anxious Tool crowd. I remember Maynard came out on stage and told the crowd they were assholes because they hand pick their openers. He wasn’t happy.

sounds the same as salival's third eye version, but is a different show, salival's third eye was filmed on 7/8/1998 in lewiston, this show is 29/3/1998.

I remember this show. Maynard walked off because the mosh pit was going too hard and the crowd booed the Melvins.

This recording of Third Eye is the best one. The bass is SOOO prominent, you can actually feel the low end on a good sound system / headphones.

It sounds like the recording of Third Eye that was put on their live album Salival. I just listened to both and Maynard’s vocalization on his parts seem to match up. That’s really cool.
