Kyuss and tool are my two favorite bands, and the fact that I'm lucky enough that tool covered Demon cleaner is amazing, I couldn't imagine a world were I can't appreciate this amazing band.
Layne singing Opiate was the ultimate irony
true
Dude ...Aenima "New York style" - I heard this once WAY the fuck back in the late 90's and thought it was a lost recording. Holy shit this made my night
YEAH the NEW YORK one!!! haha i bet that they regret doing that after the whole world trade center thing. but I've been trying to find that version for decades!! thank you for posting it! but seriously i'd love to remaster this easily, and the one with layne staley just sounds HORRIBLE, but the NEW YORK thing was from a BOOTLEG I owned a long time ago called "THIRD LEG"
@@Parrish_Muhoberac YES!! That's where I know it from. I have been trying to remember where/how in TF I'd heard that version of Aenima. I couldn't remember, but I KNEW that I heard it before
@@scottw5253 Man so weird hey!!! I have been LOOKING for that Bootleg CD with the cover and everything .. I KNEW it was from that same CD that a friend gave me back in 2002 or something. .. just from hearing it. I was HOPING that it would be on there... the version of "PUSHIT" on that CD is incredible. My late father Larry Muhoberac, a legend amongst the musical universe, would often want to listen to things I liked way back then, and we would sit and listen. The first thing he said was - "That drummer is just like a ROCK"... the 2nd was "The singer is just amazing"... and this is a very experienced arranger at age 65. He also loved Lewis Taylor.
And I DO have it somewhere. I'll look through boxes of CDs tomorrow, and I'll find it. I know it's there. and the sound is even BETTER.
One word awesome. My favorite band
This is six words.
@@jf5610 HAHA you're both right AND wrong at the same time! "THIS IS SIX WORDS" is only 4 words. "ONE WORD AWESOME. MY FAVOURITE BAND" is six words, and I couldn't agree more about that! so how about we all agree on FIVE words - "OUR FAVOURITE BAND IS TOOL"???? yeah?
@@Parrish_Muhoberac😂
Only thing you're really missing is their cover of "Commando" by the Ramones on the 2002 Lateralus tour.
NYC MSG show
This is gold
This performance of Ænema is actually from the date of 11/23/1996 Asbury Park, New Jersey. I got this information from TOOL Archive.
On 23.11.1996 they played at www.setlist.fm/setlist/tool/1996/electric-factory-philadelphia-pa-73d44e91.html
we are both wrong.
@@think4yourself820 ah I for some reason associated that performance with the 1997 asbury park performance 😂😂 my bad lol
@@think4yourself820 you were right my bad lol
THANKS!!!!! OMmmmmmmmmm
my gosh... the scream high C note at 26:30 is just awesome.
Sweet......Thank you so much.
Think for your self !
This video should be renamed "10,000 Tool wallpapers"

Nice mix .Thank You!
🕯️ You Lied 🕯️

I was at the Copps show on Hamilton!
Happy 420
Nice:)
wow
Who ever made this thank you
I heard them play Commando at Radio City in NYC right around the time Joey Ramone died. Wonder if that was recorded.
Yeah, it's out there... I can think of a few other rarities that could be added to the 2nd volume. Commando... Reflection with Haawkman and Hatham.... Tricky on Opiate... Lateralus with Tom Morello... I feel like there's something else that I'm missing. But yeah, this is great! Thanks for putting it together!!
This is fucking great
I seriously want to remaster "BOTTOM"
LOVE Tool, thank you for posting. I have to ask, what visualizer and/or program did you use for this video? It looked great!
Thank's, i use VSCD Video Editor.

No Quater does not fall under the rare performances category, the song has been played many times.
But in the next video No Quater will be there.

Wait… Danny playing a 4x4 on holiday in Cambodia now that’s new!

Love all the stuff you post! What program do you use for the visualizers in the videos?? Specifically the one during AEnema...
I use VSDC Video Editor, for all my stuff, till now.
For Aenema i used: Eo.S - Nematodes E deamon.
@@think4yourself820 what is the source for the visuals? Electric sheep or winamp/geiss? built into vsdc?

hahahahaha OPIATE with Layne Staley.... It's as if his voice was taken from a DIFFERENT live event and just put on there. I don't like that one.

I wanted that to sound so much better than it did.
Beyond appearances, these musicians seem to denounce the apparent order and the paradoxes of an insensitive world. Unspiritual, despotic and cynical, these sonic sorcerer's apprentices vulgarly reveal secret impostures, explore many aborted pleasures, a world of dreams that are definitively buried ⚜
This is why I stopped going to concerts. I paid to see and hear the band not you.
Wait what - Brain Candy!
I stopped going to concerts because there WERE NONE where I live haha.
YES!!! Can't stand people that talk/yell the whole concert....distracting & rage-inducing...I'm paying attention to them as much as the band.....stay home if you want to have a conversation!
Don’t forget to pack your wife !!!!
Jello is the man
Are you me?
No.
