I know it's simple. But the fact they have an english translation of their menu makes me happy! I would absolutely visit this place with less anxiety knowing this. I wish resturaunts all over the world were able to have a translated menu for those with different native languages (Some in US have it but.. not many). Would make it more accessible for those of us who try but just can't learn a second language.
Thank you so much for including the English subtitles. I love your videos and I really enjoy all of the work you do to show us your experiences. Thank you! Sending love from Ireland 💚
That does look incredibly good. Now I want to try that lotus root and fried meat sticks. Thank you for the videos. I always feel like I am ready to enjoy food everytime I watch these videos.
All of a sudden I started singing Kickback in my head and then realized it was playing in the restaurant 😂 Also heard Mixed Nuts somewhere in there ❤ I wish my local restaurants played this stuff
The guy that invented making people cook things themselves and marketing it as an intentional fun activity they might even charge extra for was a bloody genius.
It might seem odd but really most people go out to eat as entertainment not for purely nourishment or economic reasons. Now you can entertain yourself mindlessly plowing 10k calories or takesome time to engage in an activity that entertains while not overly consuming calories. Im not saying its health food but man have you seen an American buffet? Its like watching hogs at slopping time.
Reminds me of this meal I used to see on Pokémon (I don’t remember exactly which episodes or movies, just when May and Max were traveling with Ash) I remember watching it and being soooo envious and wanting to eat it too. Definitely something to add to the list of ideas I want to try when going to Japan 😋😋😋
It's so much fun to watch you guys eat. Japan has so many cool restaurants, too. I don't think a restaurant like this would work in the US. My mind immediately goes to thinking about how to game the system, buying all-you-can-eat and then pigging out on fried scallop and shrimp, lol.
There's a place called black rock where you cook your own steak on a ridiculously hot stone. Our server said some dude asked her "is this actually hot?" As he proceeded to touch it and burn himself. Why are we like this? Lol
You could, at least theoretically, get around this problem by having a liability waiver on full display before entering the restaurant, or something to sign. Perhaps a bit much for a meal out but hey, that's the mad world we live in these days.
There are a lot of reasons, why visiting Japan- but I think this is reason number one!!! Wished, that we would have a restaurant like this in Germany! (if anyone from Germany knows one, PLEASE TELL ME!)
I was thinking that too, some dummy would eat uncooked chicken or someone would let their unsupervised kid stick a hand in the fryer. Too bad bc this looks so fun and delicious
We used to have this in Indonesia. Kushiya monogatari. Only tried once. It really was fun! Sadly closed just before covt. But then there's a restaurant that have 3 types of cooking method in one (deep fried, shabu & bbq) havent had the chance to try it though ❤
Your videos are always so light and fun to watch! I wish i could try one of this type of restaurants one day. Also, i just noticed that at 13:57 it's playing music from the movie One Piece: Red!
I'm late catching up on my videos; I've missed so many since I've been unwell. I watch numerous Japanese creators and Canadian/American creators living in Japan and not once have I seen this restaurant. In fact, you've gone to many places that were new to me, so bravo for being ahead of the crowd!
Fun video, this looks like such a chill time and I would totally try this same time if ever given the chance! Also, noticed Kick Back playing there around 12 mins, song is a jam.
Wow! That looks like so much food! I love the buffet style because there are always so many options to choose. I’d probably burn my food with so many cooking times unless I only cooked a few at a time😊. Maybe if the skewers were color coded by cooking time😂😂😂
I would demolish a mini forest from eating all those skewers. And i just love the sauces with them. DancingBacons, I have been watching you and YOU inspired me to make my own Hawaii based food and fun channel! (You consistently post great info and prices and not many channels do that!) I rewatch your videos all the time! I only have 700 subs, so I'm trying to work harder and harder to earn those subscribers. But the process is enjoyable and my only regret at the moment is I wish I had more time to make more videos. (Still work a 40 hr week and got littles to look afterwards) I saved and just bought a new Insta360 so I can make videos in HD! I just made some about the new $10 billion monorail that just opened and just took videos from a Kona Resort. Aloha from Hawaii!
Yeah, me too. I get comments from people who know nothing about Japan and about the bamboo skewers and destroying the forest etc. Nonsense, 90 % of Japan are steep mountains full of bamboo that grows faster than you can harvest it, unlimited supply. And yu can not use these hills for anything else. I lived in Japan for years, skewers and chopsticks are not a threat to nature. And they are bio-degradable. Also been to Korea a lot and their stainless chopsticks, there are historical and cultural reasons for them. They are ok, the ultimate chop stick test is to eat whole hard boiled quail eggs pickled in oil, vinegar and chili etc with the steel ones :-)) Try it!
Everything looks so good even tho i would unfortunately not be able to eat anything as i have coeliac disease 😭 😢 but I absolutely love watching your videos ❤️
Love how japan plays anime songs in their restaurants, it just hit me that they were playing one piece movie red's main song ' new genesis' at 13:29 and spy x family's S1 op at 14:46
You mentioned that the time of day makes the price vary - location of this chain also makes the price vary. The one you went to, in Umeda, is the most expensive for the least amount of time.
what an ambitious and decadent food idea once i had a deeo fat fryer and my mom worked at a kitchen and brought home bags of the jalapeno poppers i cooked so many jalapeno poppers that i eventually had to stop using the fryer as the oil was affecting my skin lol
This very new to me. I would never had guessed I needed to get a batter or breading to start the meal. To eat these things without breading would be very unpleasant.
Walking up to a buffet full of skewers and having a bit of everything is what dreams are made of.
Crispy deep fried dreams😍
@@cinderellie8 +piping hot 😛
Sweet dreams are made of meat 🍖
Plus point is after having nice dinner they are going to earn money through this video
You 2 are so cute how you work like clockwork. You're so used to each other you know each others moves & share so nicely. It's cute to see 😊👍

Whenever they upload I always wait to watch while I'm eating lunch or dinner !!
Deep fried scallops are a favourite where I'm from (near Melbourne Australia). Here we keep the orange part (the roe) on. It is delicious.
Looks like fun!
10:21 was such an adorable moment!
All of a sudden I started singing Kickback in my head and then realized it was playing in the restaurant 😂
Also heard Mixed Nuts somewhere in there ❤ I wish my local restaurants played this stuff
I've caught some snippets of songs in the back that makes me surprised he hasn't gotten hit by a DMCA takedown or something.
For those wondering -
11:58 for Kickback
14:27 for Mixed Nuts
13:50 new genesis
oh, good I am not going crazy, I was watching that and I kept hearing snippets and was like "wait a minuuuuuuuuuuuute"
Everything looks so delicious! What a treat!
Yay, another calming and peaceful video, thank you for uploading!!!
14:30 I definitely was vibing to the Spy x Family op
The songs they were playing are bangers
The guy that invented making people cook things themselves and marketing it as an intentional fun activity they might even charge extra for was a bloody genius.
I was going to say, that it amuses me how popular 'cook your own food' places seem to be in Japan.
It might seem odd but really most people go out to eat as entertainment not for purely nourishment or economic reasons. @@evil1by1so true and because they are hogs. I can't stand buffets! The worst kind of people go to buffets.
@@Blacattacsquadron This is literally a buffet tho?
Awk stop being judgemental!@Blacattacsquadron
I miss having buffet food since the pandemic ended them. Skewers look like fun stuff.
Good to see the maintained cleanliness.
Never fail to watch your videos. As good as travelling with you. Interesting idea. Wish this buffet is available here.
People are too stupid here. They would get hurt.
Soooo relaxing watching your videos. My partner and I watch them to fall asleep
I need to go to Japan asap I swear, these restaurants are so unique and the foods look very good.
ALL YOU CAN EAT DEEP FRIED SKEWERS THIS IS REALLY EPIC GOOD STUFF
What Japan doesn’t have it seems like Japan has it all 🥰
I like it how it played the Chainsaw Man theme at one point and overall very interesting video
And "New Genesis" from One Piece: RED
That looks so delicious. Wish we had a place like that here in Kentucky USA
Same, here in California lol.
i always watch this channel while i eat my poor food. vicarious living at its best.
My Goodness! Everything is so well-organized and super clean. The place itself invites you over to enjoy your meal.
Always enjoy your videos! Love seeing the cool foods you can get there
I love when I time it so I get to eat my dinner watching a new DacningBacons video! :D
If they served the batter and breadcrumbs in a cup that was tall and narror it would be much easier to coat the items without having to be so careful.
This place looks amazing. I feel like it'd make so much money in the US but we'd probably find a way to ruin it lol
🤣 True
It wouldn't be hard, one good burn because someone got too excited to eat and didn't let the food cool/blot first would be a quick end.
Absolutely. Deep fryer at the table is a lawsuit waiting to happen in the good ol u.s. of a. And especially California Sad and terrible
I really love the cook it yourself types of restaurants overseas. Makes me wish I could travel!!
What a fantastic buffet experience!!! Will they come out with a deep-fry and Hot-Pot Combo??
That would be the best
And everyone will be on fire 😂😂
amazing concept , i will be incorporating this dining format into my menu soon . this is a game changer .
You gals go to the most interesting places to eat! It always looks amazing...
That a husband and wife duo! And sometimes her mother in-law joins the show. What box you crawled from?
This is amazing!!, I want a restaurant like this in Poland. Thank you for this movie:)))
Buffet menu are always yummy.

You are probably living dream life of every fried food lover
Now that looked yummy and a novel idea, as well. I'd gladly go there to try it out myself!
Saw post on IG and I immediately need to watch! Love these videos

That looked like a really fun and yummy place! Thanks for sharing it with us!
So much fun! 🤗
Nice all-you-can-eat makes me miss the Chinese all-you-can-eat in my town they closed down in the first lockdown and never reopened.
Those fried skewers look incredible. Hope you had a great experience overall.
What a delicious looking buffet. I always really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing it. 🙂
You could never have something like this in the US. People would stick their hands in the oil on purpose and then sue the restaurant.
There's a place called black rock where you cook your own steak on a ridiculously hot stone. Our server said some dude asked her "is this actually hot?" As he proceeded to touch it and burn himself. Why are we like this? Lol
There used to be a place in Lancaster that was a Korean bbq buffet, I never knew why it closed down till possibly now
You could, at least theoretically, get around this problem by having a liability waiver on full display before entering the restaurant, or something to sign.
Perhaps a bit much for a meal out but hey, that's the mad world we live in these days.
@GaffaTV Some idiot would pour their drink in there, and then its over -_-
And unfortunately it'd probably be a child with inattentive parents.
I LOVE THIS ALL YOU CAN EAT VIDEOS
That looks so fun! Wish we had these!!
ok, this is yet another place on the Japanese foodie bucket list!
It's so fascinating! I would love to try that
I’d love to dine at any of these places (though I still adore the hotpot and korean bbq places those will always be at the top for me)
That food looks incredible! 😋🤤Wish I was in Japan! 🇯🇵

The idea is new and very interesting.. Hoping I get to try this buffet-style one day 🤩🤩🤩
The most hilarious was bread roll coated with bread crumbs and fried. 🤣
I wish I could enjoy something like this but I'm extremely allergic to shellfish 😢so I just enjoy you two ❤
love your videos, have yet to find any other channels that are comparable to your quality
Hell yeah🎉 I love when they do the buffets ❤
I wish we could have this here in the U.S. but it's probably a liability issue here. Looks like an incredible experience.
I was thinking that too, some dummy would eat uncooked chicken or someone would let their unsupervised kid stick a hand in the fryer. Too bad bc this looks so fun and delicious
Same..
We don’t care what you do and don’t have in the USA. Americans think we actually care. Imagine if every country on UA-cam did that? SMH so annoying
you can do a fondu or soup pot at The Melting Pot (a chain)
@@caitchri2426 Yeah, but that's much cooler. You can also do hotpot, but the concept of DIY fried food at a restaurant is awesome.
I love how you always make sure you get your moneys worth.
