I'm not sure where else, but Houston has one of these as well. Pricing is different, food was good, and prizes were fun items. Looked up the name: Kura.
I love that they sent you _all four_ of the avocado ones in a group, making a little flotilla of goodness cruising in on the topside! The crowning touch was that one in front tilting forwards when the conveyor put on the brakes, then rolling back upright. Delivered with SPEED! That was so funny to watch, and the avocados looked super delicious, too!
I will never know how Bacons manages to eat so much food! Absolute madness lol. I love watching though as it's fun to see things like the vending machines and the different resterauts
I got to try Kura here in the states for the first time for Valentine’s Day. It was delicious! And I have you to thank. Because of your last Kura video, my husband and I found out that there was one near us and just had to try it. I never liked salmon before, but turns out I was just eating bad salmon. The salmon was so good and just melted in my mouth. I’m looking forward to going back!
@@hteacave he was joking as she was dining individually in very next stall, so hence "his neighbor" She's actually Mrs bacon. They are in so many videos together
I laughed when you called Mrs. Bacon your neighbor. So interesting to see the original version of Kura and how it differs from the version that's here in the states! PS Does Mrs. Bacon have a youtube channel or instagram that she allows the public to follow?
Kura also exists in the US and is probably my favorite Sushi chain. They also have those tablets and games here too, but what I love most is that plate slot and lids. It is so nice to eat knowing that someone didn't sneeze on your sushi, and then being able to enjoy an uncluttered eating area with the plates all gone.
I am SO jealous. We have Kura Sushi here in CA, however prices are way higher. That said .97 cents! the servings here cost like 3.50 or more depending on the item, so because it was so pricey I feel like we didnt' eat as much as we wanted lol I didn't look into it before we went. That one looks amazing and affordable!
Mad props to Ms. Bacons (if that is who she is idk)for the light work. Not also does she give the best reactions eating really yummy looking food but her reach in giving great lighting. Its really top notch. Hope you peeps are well
My cat was very interested in this video. I think all of the movement from the conveyor belt caught her eye. It must have been very exhausting to watch, because she fell asleep towards the end.
@@VanishingTheReality depending on what you get you can get a decent lunch for $15 which is nice as a little treat every once in a while. I do envy those Japanese prices tho
I was surprised to see this-there's a Kura Sushi relatively near me here in the US, so the extent to which they've exported the same format is fascinating. We don't get free-flowing green tea, though. 😕
The previous time I was in Japan, I really wanted to go to this place. My Japan friend recommended and brought us here for dinner, but the queue was so long that we decided to dine elsewhere instead. Unfortunate. The place looks amazing so I hope the nice time I'm there I will be able to go to there.
Just went to the Kura Sushi near me in the US... so interesting how they changed things here versus how it is in Japan. I was so sad that I couldn't get complimentary green tea... it's like $3.50 per cup! Instead of green tea powder, they have a similar container on the table here that holds the wasabi instead. The sushi's also double the price and we don't get nearly as much variety as Japan does, which is a bummer. Thank you so much for sharing all this!
we also have one in where I live, and though it might not be as authentic from the from the ones from Japan (from USA), the food was very good! very nice vid.
y'know, the sad truth no one wants to admit, is that most americans who may eat here, (and are brand new to this environment) are gonna be asking how they do anything. Yes it seems rude, but as someone who works in a childrens hotel, and proudly displays pepsi products everywhere, and have someone come up and ask for a coke and sprite, it makes ya think.
Yeah imagine being hungry, out and about, and seeing that restaurant and then you say to your partner "should we give this a go" only to find that you're not even going to be seated in 15 minutes, you'll have to wait ten times that. Crazy.

Sorry to hear. But if it helps or cheers you up a bit: I never, rarely travelled myself and I spent a third of my life already. not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous. Kura came to the US about a decade ago with low prices but they gradually raised it annually.
