Not normally a Tama guy, but these sound exceptional.
Terrific!
My dream drumset ✨
Great playing 🔥
Great drums and cymbals and drummer as well.
this is the kit you want. i have this exact kit! warning: bass is heavy af!
Sono rimasto colpito dal batterista, fenomenale. Complimenti
My piano black w/b is arriving in July. Can't wait!
The 10" sounds dead.. Then the 14" sounds like its tuned too high. Not sure on the toms on this Starclassic kit. Hard to find a kit these days.
Im with Alan Smith, Im not normally a Tama guy for Rock drums. I love their toms but their kicks dont have any volume. I guess I just like a 45, double 45 or 60 bearing edge.
But you do make them sing. Ive said this before to you but Ill say it again, you are a genius at tuning heads. You get so much tone out of double ply heads.
I have never had any issues with Tama kicks lacking volume.
@@MrGuitarandvocals Yeah, it's real subjective. Tama kicks just don't have the same volume as the Yamaha Stage Custom Birch, Yamaha Tour Custom Maple. Or the Pearl Masters Maple Gum or DW Collectors SSC Maple or Maple Spruce.
Great toms though. I have the same feelings about Gretch. Great toms but under volume kicks.
Although I will say Tama's new Acrylic Starclassic Mirage and Superstar Birch 50th anniversary kits are fantastic with real articulate kicks.

My Tama kicks were 7mm in thickness. I can understand having volume issues with kicks that have a thinner shell recipe. I only buy thicker shells so I don't have to worry about this problem. My Pearl kicks are 7.5 mm and they are cannons. The toms are also 7.5 mm in thickness as well and they cut like a razor.
@@MrGuitarandvocals Thanks for the advice Mr. G. I'm sure someone has a comparison video on that, perhaps 'Sounds Like a Drum.'

You as well brother! Both of our responses are correct.
I started with an imperial star, and now I have a superstar classic all maple. I want this kit once I feel I deserve it.
check out the tama star line if you haven't already, the walnut is my favorite
@user-qw5dw7zb5r That's too much drum for me. Maybe if I had a studio, but even then, the sound wouldn't be that noticeable.
@@shanehaney2121 i can see where your coming from but i tuned my basement into a home studio 😂
Great sounding kit. Especially those floor toms.
