    How does it it compare against HYPE 4. Everyone thinks hype 4 is the best all-rounder

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  3 місяці тому +9

      I don't own the Hype 4; I only had the chance to listen to it during CanJam, and it left a strong impression on me. According to my notes, I found that sometimes the treble could be too aggressive for my taste, but overall, it was acceptable. I agree that it's a great all-rounder, but personally, I think it's a bit pricey for its sound. Comparing it to the 61T isn't entirely fair due to the price difference and driver configuration, but I'll share my thoughts.
      Honestly, I still believe the Hype 4 is superior overall (except for the occasional overly aggressive treble). Its tuning is slightly similar to the 61T, but the Hype 4 has a more impactful bass, clearer vocals, and greater mid-range detail. In terms of technicalities, instrument separation, and detail retrieval, the Hype 4 is better, although the 61T is not far behind. The 61T is perhaps the most detailed IEM I've heard in its price range, often competing with more expensive IEMs in terms of tonality and technical performance. I find the 61T impressive because it comes close to matching higher-end IEMs at almost half the price, which is remarkable.
      In some aspects, the 61T even outperforms the Hype 4, such as in sub-bass performance, bass texture, soundstage depth, treble smoothness, lack of harshness, and passive noise isolation. These qualities contribute to a more immersive music experience for me. I hope this helps!

      @@KarthikGRisKGR I just A/B compared them right now. The DaVinci has significantly more bass, to the extent that it's consistently noticeable during music playback. This bass is of exceptionally high quality. While it is slightly more detailed than the 61T, this may be harder to discern due to the dominant bass presence. Its bass may not suit every music genre, but it certainly adds a fun element. On the other hand, the 61T's bass is just right-not overwhelming, but sufficiently textured. Personally, I prefer the mid-range and treble of the Juzear 61T. Overall, I really appreciate the 61T. It's a top-notch IEM, scoring a perfect 10/10 for its price point IMO.
      I didn't care for the SuperMix 4; I found its bass lacked impact and slam, its mid-range was overly shouty, and its treble was bright and sharp. It struggled to maintain detail during complex music passages. In my opinion, the EA500 LM sounds much better. Of course, this is just my personal preference.
      On the other hand, the 61T excels in every aspect. Its sub-bass and mid-bass are notably superior, while its mid-range and treble are finely tuned to avoid any shoutiness, sharpness, or sibilance. Additionally, it offers superior technical performance, soundstage, imaging, and noise isolation. I hope this helps!

      @@KarthikGRisKGR I just got my 61t yesterday. I'm relatively new to this, but I was surprised that the sound stage and bass are immediately noticeable better on the 61t, compared to the SM4. The vocal is less forward, less stand-out, but blends in better. The bass is definitely attention grabbing, and this is the first time that I noticed bass can be well separated and textured. I like the SM4 and I like this. They are a bit different but also close lol. I'm not sure what to do - I might return the 61t and get the Davinci. One thing to note is that SM4 is much more compact and lighter than the 61t. 61t didn't bother me comfort wise, but when doing A/B with SM4, you notice how easy that SM4 just disappears in your ear.

      From what I have read and heard, you can get the Ziigaat Doscinco which is basically 85-90% of the hype 4, a little more bassy and for $150~ less. Additionally, there are many forums that talk about how since the drivers used in the Doscinco are high quality, it is easy to EQ it to the hype for as well.

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  3 місяці тому +4

      The Tanchjim Origin excels in detail retrieval, offering exceptional vocal clarity and forwardness. However, its bass is less than my preference and less than than the 61T and Chopin, which can detract from the enjoyment and may not make it the top choice for certain genres. Nevertheless, for most music, it delivers a near-perfect performance.
      While the Origin has the best-detailed mid-range compared to the Chopin and 61T, some may find its mid-range too pronounced, especially if they feel the Harman mid-range is already a bit overwhelming. Personally, I found the Origin's mid-range to be perfect. Additionally, the Origin offers a much more cohesive sound signature.
      On the other hand, the Chopin is a fantastic all-rounder in my opinion. Its mid-range is cleaner than the 61T, with greater focus, forwardness, and clarity. Many instruments are more prominently placed in the mix with the Chopin. In comparison, the 61T has a slight bass bleed that makes it warmer, with a fuller-bodied sound than the Origin and Chopin. It has delicious sub-bass and superior sound isolation, ensuring it never sounds shouty, even with energetic genres. The 61T also has the best sub-bass quantity, bass texture, soundstage, technical performance, and sound isolation compared to the Chopin and Origin. I hope this helps!

In the mid-range, I prefer the 61T for its smoothness and overall detail. However, when it comes to treble, the Performer 5 stands out. There's something unique about AFUL's treble tuning that consistently delivers smoothness and detail, making it particularly special to me. (personal preference)
      Regarding detail retrieval, instrument separation, and technicalities, the 61T is clearly superior. The differences are easily noticeable, it is a significant step up to my ears. @@thecolonel8144 I own the Explorer, 61T, and DaVinci IEMs. If you're into metal and orchestral music, the Explorer and 61T are your best options. While I love the DaVinci, it's not ideal for these genres. Instead, it excels in hip-hop, EDM, movies, and anything with heavy bass content.
      Think of the 61T as an enhanced Ultra HD version of the Explorer. It offers better detail, a much wider soundstage, and more clarity and air without ever becoming harsh. Both the Explorer and 61T remain smooth and non-shouty, making them perfect for metal genres.
      The Explorer has a more relaxed and laid-back mid-range, while the 61T makes instruments like the electric guitar more enjoyable. The Explorer's treble is more subdued, whereas the 61T's treble is present but never harsh. The Explorer offers a more intimate soundstage, while the 61T provides a wider soundstage with a good sense of depth. The 61T also has much better noise isolation.

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  3 місяці тому +3

      Thank you. Whether the Studio 4 and Xenns Up are $200/$300 better is subjective and depends on individual preferences. Personally, when it comes to the XENNS UP, I don't believe they are worth the extra cost, which is why I gave them away. While I don't regret owning them, I feel that there are now IEMs on the market, like the 61T, that offer similar sound quality for a fraction of the price.
      On the other hand, when it comes to the Studio 4, my opinion is a resounding yes. The improvements it offers over the 61T are significant and make it a much better IEM. In my experience, the Studio 4 has truly stood the test of time and is not just hype. It is an IEM that I believe is worth every penny. To truly appreciate it, you have to try it yourself; words and reviews alone don't do it justice.

      Shaking hands👋🤝It is great for metal. The bass is robust, the mid-range is clear without being shouty, and the treble is detailed, offering plenty of resolution. The mid-range is more balanced and not forward which makes it not shouty. The Binary DynaQuattro has a more forward mid-range if you prefer a vocal presentation that is more forward.

    • @Atechreviews

      I don't have the SL41, but I can compare the 61T to the PULA PA02. The 61T has a stronger bass response and better technicalities. It's got a warmer sound, with a bit of bass bleed that adds a fuller and warmer tone to the lower mid-range. The 61T also stands out in technicalities, with much more detail retrieval, a wider and deeper soundstage, better imaging, and better sound isolation.

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  3 місяці тому +2

      I also listen to metal music. Both the Explorer and 61T are excellent choices for this genre. The 61T stands out for its superior bass quality and texture, along with more forward vocals and mid-range. It also offers better treble extension. On the other hand, the Explorer has a slightly more intimate and laid-back mid-range, with more relaxed treble giving it a slightly darker presentation.
      In terms of technical performance, the 61T excels in detail retrieval and separation. It also has a much wider and deeper soundstage, whereas the Explorer's soundstage is more intimate.

    Could u by chance also comment on how they compare to the Aful performer 5/Kinera Celest Relentless?
    They seem to be in a similar price bracket with that warm sound signature. What do u think between these 3 is good?

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  2 місяці тому +1

      The Celest Relentless has a V-shaped sound signature with strong bass and plenty of detail, but the treble can be a bit bright with some music. Choosing between the Performer 5 and the 61T comes down to personal preference. I find the Performer 5 has smoother, more detailed treble, but its bass is a bit lighter than I’d like. Overall, it’s excellent and very detailed, plus it’s more comfortable. On the other hand, the 61T offers better noise isolation, more impactful bass, superior detail retrieval, and a wider and deeper soundstage. It somehow feels more immersive to me. All three IEMs are great choices, but I prefer the 61T.

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  2 місяці тому

      I didn’t experience any pressure issues with my set, but to be clear, I generally don’t have problems with most all BA IEMs. The 61T includes a relief vent near the back of the earpiece, next to the 2-pin connector. This vent helps with driver movement and acts as a relief vent, but But maybe for some people, they prefer more venting to avoid pressure buildup issues.
