I loved the fact that you also went through the overall construction quality of the keyboard, which is very helpful since I'm a heavy typer and quite heavyhanded.
I absolutely appreciate the reviews on both these keyboards. You actually talked about them rather then lazily read off text word for word off of their website.
I'd go with brown, because they're in between red and blue. Quiet, but still some tactility. My housemates would probably be happier as well that I'd not be going with blue and I do like the idea of some sort of balance.
Mechanical keyboards will always make more noise than membrane keyboards. You're literally pressing mechanical switches. Brown when compared to blue is relatively quiet. Red even more or one of those 'red silent' switches.
As an Arctis 7 owner, I really appreciate the test with the headset to see how much key sounds it picks up. I do hope that this problem can be solved with discord voice pick up threshold while gamimg with friends. Thanks for the review.
Your very underrated this was a great review and at first was on the fence of buying this keyboard but when i saw this video it told me everything i wanted to know thanks for making this really appreciate it.
That was awesome man! I've just bought a Corsair K68 with Blue Switches and I love it, so I've got a whole new apprechiation for other keyboards! Really good video man!
Just found your channel looking at mech keyboards - I think you're my new favorite tech CC, great video, good pace, covered all the important info I'd be looking for in this kind of video and you were very very entertaining. Big thumbs up on the content!
just bought one, 2 weeks ago with the red linear switch and one of the best purchase i made since this cost almost the same price as the apex pro in my country the the SRP USD which is around $200
I don't know why you don't have that many subscribers compared to others. I liked your video very much (and the information you gave me). This is the first video I watch from you, and it won't be the last for sure. Keep it up! PS: I also liked your humor, I fr laughed 😁.
Nice review m8! Got one yesterday on amazon with the brown switches. This will be my first mechanical and I'm planing it to last quite some years. I hope it lives up to the dream!
dude, you got a thumbs up just for the classical music, wish i could give another for the great indepth review without all the fluff and filler the bjillion other channels go into
This is going to help me a lot, getting a pc this Christmas and I'm undecided on the switches. I like TKL tbh because I don' t really use the number pad but I still don't know which switches to get. I don't want them to be too loud but I also kind of want to hear them, but I have a work keyboard because I just found it lying around and it doesn't sound good, so I don't want the keyboard to sound like that.
These have a 40 euros discount today (black friday), and I'm really thinking about picking this one up. I actually wanted to get the brown ones, bcs they're a bit quieter. I'm not too sure on what I want to do. Great review though man, really good quality. You're very underrated to be fair! Keep it up.
i have blue and red switches keyboard (cougar and redragon) and planning to get a brown one. I think I'll buy this keyboard with the brown switch. thank you for your review. cheers!
Great videos man, you really do great reviews and I really enjoy the classical music. One thing tho, could you please use some more cheerful kind of classical music instead of these sad tones. Just a suggestion, great work otherwise!
My favorite switches have always been blues. I just can't get enough of the audible click and tactile bump, much to the dismay of everyone I talk to online
Waiting for my Apex 7 with blue switches to arrive the next days - I just love the sound I orderd from SS directly on christmas eve for a price of 113,99 Euros. 3 days later I got an email saying I got a refund and they are out of stock. My luck, an electronics marked near me here in Germany had it for 111 Euros - 22% discount. So I bought it for 86,50 Euros, very decent price I think
Thank you, nice review in all. However, your scene transition effect is a bit jarring, and combined with the quick pace of the review gives an unsettling feeling.
how u do that program . is it in the keyborad or is it downloadable ,,,i have seeen many reviews and i like it alot but no describes how u get that on screen programable things u can change on keyboard . ALSO what is the differces between the APEX 7 AND THE APEX 9 .
Can you help me understand why the cable splits to two at the end? i just purchased my first gaming computer, monitor etc. I want to buy this keyboard but where do you plug the two ends of the keyboard as i assumed there would just be one that goes into the p.c. ''one is for the pass through'' meaning one end goes into that part of the keyboard? which means the other p.c? if so that means i must put the p.c within that small range of my keyboard? ( i hope that makes sense)
Just ordered me one of these with brown switches, tried reds and found I do not like the linear feel, had the g910 Orion Spectrum with Romer-G's for 3 years but 3 keys had started double typing.
I'm currently running browns but I've sorta moved away from liking them and I'm planning on trying out reds. I just feel like the tactile bump makes my browns a bit heavier than I'd like. Genuinely considering this keyboard though
According to popular YT myths, leaving a useless comment like this one and also giving the video a thumbs up is supposedly gonna boost the video in the algorithm.
There isn't an Apex 7 pro it's just called an Apex Pro, they're similar but the Apex Pro is overall better and on the OLED screen on the Pro you can customize the actuation of the switch, it ranges from 0.4 mm actuation all the way up to 3.6, you cannot do this on the Apex 7, it just has regular red linear switches.
I loved the fact that you also went through the overall construction quality of the keyboard, which is very helpful since I'm a heavy typer and quite heavyhanded.
Wait this channel is criminally underrated this is not ok
appreciate that 👍
He has a 4K camera but only has 5K subs not to hate but a little over the top for his popularity don't you think?
I absolutely appreciate the reviews on both these keyboards. You actually talked about them rather then lazily read off text word for word off of their website.
This review sold me on the keyboard! Bought one today, loving it so far!
I'd go with brown, because they're in between red and blue. Quiet, but still some tactility. My housemates would probably be happier as well that I'd not be going with blue and I do like the idea of some sort of balance.
This sums up my experience with browns pretty well. Stay away from them :D ua-cam.com/video/Bc32Fv4P0tw/v-deo.html
It's still somewhat loud?
Mechanical keyboards will always make more noise than membrane keyboards. You're literally pressing mechanical switches. Brown when compared to blue is relatively quiet. Red even more or one of those 'red silent' switches.
@@Root174 ik that's why I'm asking, i have blue switches and theyr loud
Yes, but I was talking about brown in my original comment. I explicitly mentioned that. So I don't quite understand why you're asking that question.
As an Arctis 7 owner, I really appreciate the test with the headset to see how much key sounds it picks up. I do hope that this problem can be solved with discord voice pick up threshold while gamimg with friends. Thanks for the review.
You and me both!
push to talk is your friend
I like the brown switch’s satisfying when typing and for gaming that little bump makes the feel really good
You are a professional. Better content than channels with millions of subs. Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you - Much Appreciated 👍
Great to hear how it sounds on the mic as well. I have the Arctis Pro so this was exactly the test I needed. Gonna go with the brown switches tho
Good choice! 👍
Your very underrated this was a great review and at first was on the fence of buying this keyboard but when i saw this video it told me everything i wanted to know thanks for making this really appreciate it.
Glad I could help!
"Most Winning" should be a meme.

Glad you have your hand back Mr. Lannister. Great review!
hahahaha cheers mate
The quality of your videos suggest a much much higher sub count. Loved it
just bought one, 2 weeks ago with the red linear switch and one of the best purchase i made since this cost almost the same price as the apex pro in my country the the SRP USD which is around $200

Just ordered one after watching this, great review mate. Thanks!
Great vid. Subbed. I'm a blue guy myself. I do love a good tinnitus before I go to bed. Thank you, will buy on your recommendation.
Thank you man appreciate it cause mine came in the mail today!
Yo youre videos look like your having 1 million subs keep it up!
You are so underrated man you should have atleast a million subs by now
Nice review m8! Got one yesterday on amazon with the brown switches. This will be my first mechanical and I'm planing it to last quite some years. I hope it lives up to the dream!
how is it? I am planning to buy, would you recommend?
ye i have one i've had it for 3+ years now but 4 keys are almost imposible to use. And i think its a bit loud
dude, you got a thumbs up just for the classical music, wish i could give another for the great indepth review without all the fluff and filler the bjillion other channels go into
idk why but this dude makes me think of if Game of Thrones had a gamer character for whatever reason lol I love it
"This week, on Hermitcraft..." :) Great review by the way. Kudos!
Glad you enjoyed it!
aaaaah thats where its from
You just cost me $200 Canadian. Great vid, subscribed!
Always used black buuuut yesterday I poured beer over my old 6gv2 and now im here. Probably Buying this one (red switches), thanks for the review!
I feel like I just did coke right before watching this review, but then again, I appreciated your efficiency in this review. :)
Love the review! My friends recommended this keyboard and this review really helped me get my own thoughts!
So what about the keyboard did you buy it on amazon .

I hate full sized I love tkl as my preferred size
get blue then

I'm not too sure on what I want to do.
Great review though man, really good quality. You're very underrated to be fair! Keep it up.
I like the browns because they sound like they are so soft and I never felt a brown switch keyboard I think and it just sounds good
I really want the brown switch but they’re out of stock. And I’m impatient so I might settle for the reds. Great review though, subbed!
i have blue and red switches keyboard (cougar and redragon) and planning to get a brown one. I think I'll buy this keyboard with the brown switch. thank you for your review. cheers!
I just ordered the keyboard can’t wait to get it! But I am going with red cause I like quiet and smooth.
Good review and I like red switchs
As an apex 7 owner. i gotta say that the keyboard is really awesome
Great review! I like your humor lol
Glad you enjoyed it :)
nice vid!
Bruh just found you and somehow i know that your other vids are good.
a littler bit more of light in ur studio and it would be a 10/10 review. keep it up :)
You are great. Very entertaining review
Great review! You helped me decide to buy this keyboard. Where are you from if I may ask? I love your accent.
Thanks for that. I'm from the north of England :)
Great videos man, you really do great reviews and I really enjoy the classical music. One thing tho, could you please use some more cheerful kind of classical music instead of these sad tones. Just a suggestion, great work otherwise!
I myself like red switches I really do not like tactility for some reason
oh my underrated thanks for this it’s 140 dollars I’m gonna get it ty
Thx for this really helped

Quality content. Subscribed.
I like brown switches.
How the HELL do you not have over 100k subs?
red switch gang for life baby
My favorite switches have always been blues. I just can't get enough of the audible click and tactile bump, much to the dismay of everyone I talk to online
great review
i do like blue switches cuz of the clickyness and noise and i don’t mind how loud they are
i like the click but I have to work next to my dad so it's kinda bad for me
Same
Wish brown was clicker honestly
clicky blues for life!
THIS KEYBOARD IS FUCKING AMAZINGGGGGGGG cant recommend it enough
Waiting for my Apex 7 with blue switches to arrive the next days - I just love the sound

your the best i love you
Thank you, nice review in all. However, your scene transition effect is a bit jarring, and combined with the quick pace of the review gives an unsettling feeling.
for me persionally, not the best tech reviewer out there. But by golly truly the most entertaining one I've come accross in ages!

I love me some blue switches.
idk why but I like thisbguy

I like this guy
I love blue!
Is it possible to quickly explain the difference between red brown and blue switches.
which switches are the best for playing?
blues. always like tactile and clicky :)
Great video thanks. Helped with my KB shopping. Consider me subbed!
I'm currently running browns but I've sorta moved away from liking them and I'm planning on trying out reds. I just feel like the tactile bump makes my browns a bit heavier than I'd like. Genuinely considering this keyboard though
I’m a red switch guy because I need precision for trackmania
whats the differce between red , or brown switches
What are the differences between red blue and brown switch? Can I change them?
anyone can double confirm to me, this keyboard can control previous, pause and next for multimedia like when i play groove music..
I've got a problem with this keyboard, it stays lit all the time, my computer has asleep mode, but does this keyboard have one?
Does it have a volume up and down control ?
Just to clarify, are you going to go briefly into the screen or not? It really wasn't clear.
According to popular YT myths, leaving a useless comment like this one and also giving the video a thumbs up is supposedly gonna boost the video in the algorithm.
Err.. I like OnmiPoint adjustable switches, because I have those
I'm also a brown kind of guy
Thank you Obi Wan
Why did u want the browns?
Does it take standard keycaps?
does it have custom actuation
which one is better the apex 5 or the apex 7?
APEX 7
Has anyone tried this with the ps4? I'm thinking about buying this for my ps4 and pc.
Which switch type is most quiet
are they exactly gateron switches?
Got the brown and it’s not very clicks I prefer clicky lol. Just picked this up for 109$
Im blue/Brown ( eventhough ive never used brown )
i got the blue one😁
I'm also a brown kinda guy
Then you are also a legend!
u can connect it on a laptop right?
absolutley provided it has a USB port
Im going to buy this one. But whats the differense between this and the apex 7 pro?
There isn't an Apex 7 pro it's just called an Apex Pro, they're similar but the Apex Pro is overall better and on the OLED screen on the Pro you can customize the actuation of the switch, it ranges from 0.4 mm actuation all the way up to 3.6, you cannot do this on the Apex 7, it just has regular red linear switches.
