So what are the best ways to work on and improve your balance? You see people using all kinds of fitness gadgets and equipment to challenge themselves and incorporate balance into their workouts. But what are the best exercises out there for really making a difference? This video answers this question with some humor and truths about the best ways to improve your balance.
Balance and Stability Specialist Chris Wilson and Kristen Dixon, certified personal trainer and newer member of the Critical Bench Team :) go over several exercises discussing if they are good and effective or not necessarily needed depending on your level. Sure, high level athletes will get into some pretty extreme methods to work on their balance and strength.
But what works for some doesn't work for all. Deeper in the video coach Chris and Kristen go over some bodyweight only exercises from the Neuro-Balance Therapy program that are rather simple but highly effective for those people looking to make a difference with their balance.

I consider the last 2 rather advanced
While they are certainly a bit more challenging, they don't quite fall into the advanced category. Of course this is relative and based on your current level. Advanced can mean something completely different for a fit women in her 50s who does yoga often compared to an inactive man in his early 60s who hasn't worked out in years. The good news is no matter where you're at, you can get going with something simple and start making a difference!! Coach Chris
Fat fitness instructors surprise me. I am afraid I am unsubscribing lest I follow these instructors' example.
Wow ... #speechless
@@Criticalbench amazement and silience are fine but flab kills. By using semi-fatties you may able acrue more views and money.
@@nihonbunka please share with me how “fat” I am… would you prefer a muscle monster or skinny marathoner?? Or how about a lifelong natural strength coach who’s fit, strong, intelligent, passionate and dedicated to helping thousands if not millions of people all over the world 🌎??? I’ve been in well over 1,000 FREE UA-cam vids to help people find strength and health. Your criticism is unfounded 😉 Coach Chris
@@CriticalbenchThank you for helping millions, including my flab fighting self, and for
your instructive and inspirational content in the past. At the same time, I hope, and presume, that you are paid for your content and that these fine fitness coaches demonstrate their dedication by getting rid of some excess weight. They could make a UA-cam challenge out of it. When they succeed, I will admiringly resubscribe (or not if you prefer not to have critical viewers).
@@nihonbunka I think his silence on the matter says it all in terms of whether or not he wants you to resubscribe! XD
