My only issue with how the game currently looks is that compared to rivals 1 there seems to be way less knockback and hutstun here. Lots of moves cause knockdowns as opposed to starting combos, and I see a lot of scrapping with moves that do virtually nothing on hit. A little bit concerning.
Outsider with no in game experience. This game has no hype combos or interesting knockouts. Its like watching two people paper cut eachother for minutes at a time then finally landing a strong attack where the screen changes color and someone finally dies.
There have only been 6 days worth of beta time for normal players, so combos are hardly optimized (or good). It will get better as people get more time to get experience. I know there is a Ranno named Squanto who has super sick clips on his twitter.
If Rivals team don't add a hi-fi recording of a housecat purring on Clairen's victory screen, we riot
Love those talks. Keep up the good work
i love rivals 2 and fraymakers and multiversus

From my limited time playing, I’ve already gotten tons. This might not be super representative, or maybe it gets more defensive as you get better?
