Come along on a different kind of adventure! My normal mode of transportation into the backcountry are my feet, but in this video we try something different. My niece Christine (channel link below) and I are offered the use of a UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle) for an overnight camping trip in the Fishlake Nat'l Forest of Utah. We hike to a stunning waterfall and spend the night in a gorgeous meadow where we cook an amazing steak dinner over the fire. Although, this way of traveling will not be replacing my good ole backpack and my feet...it was fun to try for 24 hours. The scenery is beautiful! Join us!

I had a really bad day today. I've been finding the situation the world is in right now very stressful, and have lost my job. I've been really depressed and have had really bad anxiety today, but somehow watching your videos is helping me to relax and not feel so stressed. I think I might actually sleep okay tonight.

@@CatherineGregoryAdventures i'm going to assume that you've heard about the unbelievable amount of people that have gone missing forever in the wilderness, and many of which happened in a strange manner. if not then you should seriously look into the subject, not to scare yourself but to strongly inform yourself.
That was cool. I love to ride dual sport motorcycles, camp, hang by the fire at night. Talking shit w my buddies. Good stuff. You never forget a great night out under the stars. Glad you gals experienced this, you have turned me on to the peace and serenity of hiking, glad someone turned you on to UTV's /OHV's too. Now when you see em out playin, you will have an appreciation for their different style of exploring our beautiful country. Ride on....

Amazing videography. Great music. Beautiful country we live in and many of us never leave our towns. As a Boy Scout I remember visiting Yellowstone and we did a 50 Miler there. Absolutely a treasure of the America’s. Thanks for taking us along.

We camped at Anderson Meadow in Fishlake NF last July. This area of the country is so ruggedly beautiful and doesn't get as much traffic as Colorado. We started climbing the mountain to our campsite way after dark, and were captivated by the wilderness and washboard dirt road winding up the mountain. Elk and deer were just walking around.
You always show us such beautiful scenery! I love being sprayed by waterfalls! It is so magical and revitalizing! Beautful campfire and sunset. Looks like a fun and amazing adventure!
Really enjoyed this quick trip and video Catherine. I agree it’s great to change things up and do things a little different once in awhile. End the end you’re enjoying our great outdoors and that’s what matters. Cheers

Catherine Gregory yes went to the beach yesterday and going today then going to start hiking early most days starting tomorrow. Making plans right now to get back on the PCT later in July. I’ve figured out a 750 mile section I can do so trying to get it all worked out now. If I go I’ll start out the third week in July. You have been going on a lot of adventures lately... great stuff

Bullion seems to already be well known by the local ATV community. Seems like it's also becoming more well known among the hiking community. I don't remember there being a whole lot of parking space available up there aside from what's available for ATV traffic passing through and being able to pull over for a brief break to see the falls. While it's definitely worth a visit for anyone passing through, I hope it doesn't become a destination itself for too many because I'd be concerned there wouldn't be much more room up there to accommodate much growth in crowds.
That said, I'm glad there are areas like this for ATV/UTV enthusiasts to be able to access and recreate in. It's a form of recreation that's more accessible for those who may have some disabilities.

I have driven through Marysvalle before on my way to Bryce and Zion along highway 89. I'm looking forward to taking that hike to that beautiful waterfall on my next road trip adventure. ahhhh sights and sounds of the wilderness. There was a time where I wanted to stay up all night staring at a roaring fire and the milkyway but yet get to that first cup of coffee at daylight...LOL

People are there. There weren’t many though. I don’t usually film strangers. I try to keep them out of the shots. Most of the folks that visit the waterfall just view it from the top. It’s a pretty steep climb down.

Been up there many times. You can go over the top to Big John Flats. There are are mountain goats up on top of that range. I have paraglided off the higher peaks in the summer. Flying off of 11,700' is pretty exciting. One of our favorite camping areas. Beats the heat of St George Ut in the summer.

Years ago my friend from Utah showed me around Fish lake and Marysvale where she is planning to live. It was in the fall and we didn't get to see all of these sights but it looks to be a beautiful area!

OMG.....you crossed into powersports! Some in the backpacking community consider this unforgivable. I crossed that line 20 years ago. Often get an evil glare as I slowly motor by backpackers . Great vid!
