- After exploring Grand Teton National Park, my niece @This Girl Hikes and I headed into Yellowstone for more adventure. We spend 3 days exploring the park. I first visited Yellowstone when I was 9 years old on a cross country road trip with my grandparents. It made an indelible impression on me because it is just so wild. It was awesome to be able to experience it with my niece on her first visit to the park. We come across lots of wildlife and cook some delicious food in the park. Join us!

It was a life time ago, when I walk the lands of Yellowstone......................If not for my grandparents I would have not witness the beauty of Nature in it's purest form. That breakfast reminds me of our family trip to Yellowstone back in 1972. My dad would make scrambled eggs every morning, but he always made them watery, and my brothers and I hated that!
Beautiful park. I have only been there once back in 1982. I made the mistake of telling my wife that a lot of the park smells like sulfur. She won't go there for nothing. I hope that I can get back there some day. Take care folks. Vaughn
Catherine I watch a lot of UA-camrs and find different kinds of presentations amongst them. I gain something from most, even if it’s just funny to watch and wonder how those folks ever make it on UA-cam. LOL!!! Where you cooked breakfast at Bison Meadow is a familiar spot for my wife and I. On our honeymoon 16 years ago we were parked in the same spot you were taking photos of a big bull that was at the bare dirt spot you showed. We did not notice but we got between him and his cows, next thing we know he was up and charging our truck and missed us by only a couple feet as we dumped the clutch and burned rubber!!! Great video...THX!

Wow Catherine, Beautiful landscapes, wildlife scenes, impeccable timing; so happy you took the time to add music; best vid yet. You could join a crew. Whenever you see steam escaping from the ground you get to witness a process the Earth has been going through ever since the moon bumped into it creating all the lava which melted all the ice which formed the sea which sat on top of the lava because it was less dense; the process of creating land. The steam carries heat away from the lava hardening it. And yes the ocean is sinking into the ground creating what they call the crust, making it thicker and thicker. O, It's better to see steam escaping, if not it's down there building up pressure. Did you see Mt. Saint Helens May 18, 1980 when all the steam came out. Can you imagine the pressure it took to blow away the side of that mountain. That must have been a lot of water and created a lot of new earth. "Had to share". Best best vid yet.

Just to let you know Colter campground is where there was a Grizzly mauling and death a few years ago.I came out of a bar one night in Cooke City and saw a very black dog in the back of a pickup truck in the middle of the night. It jumped down and proceeded to walk down the middle of main Street. It was a black bear.note with locals that being natives of Montana and Wyoming enter the park they typically do it through Cooke City and red Lodge. We also eat at the same diners and restaurants in Cooke City.

Always a beautiful place to visit. Just finished cooking bacon and eggs when a Grizzly walked right through camp last time I was there. Enjoyed the views and accompanying music. A truly peaceful way to start the morning and that first cup of coffee.

New subscriber here. I loved the shot of y'all eating in the camper, on the side of the road as traffic drove by. The reality of all things while traveling keeps it real. Speaking of real. The real natural audio of all these beautiful places you film would take your videos to a new level IMHO. I find the music distracting from the beauty I'm seeing on the screen. Natural sounds of each location without background music would be appreciated. Have you ever seen a channel called. "venture 4wd"? That guy could teach a master class for outdoor audio recording. His videos really make me feel like I'm right there with him. Check out the audio on his videos.

The Lamar valley is my favorite are of Yellowstone. The town of Cooke City Montana and the Beartooth highway are unbelievable. Take the road to red Lodge and the switchbacks will blow your mind.. I've seen wolves three times the Lamarvalley including a wolf that just lay down behind me about 30 yards while I was looking in the wrong direction.

Ahh Yellowstone, Just about my favorite place on this planet Earth. Was in all those areas last summer, Lamar valley is heaven. I just want to know why my pictures don't look as great as yours. I guess I lack the photography gene.... I definitely have Wyoming on my mind .

Yellowstone is such an amazing fun place to visit. Love all the wildlife! The fox being my favorite!! I would love to stay for week and hike as many trails I could there. I have heard the crowds aren’t bad right now?

Ohhh I want to go so bad! Maybe this fall. Hey Cat, have you ever tried a polarizer for your video? Yellowstone is the perfect place to try one. They can be a little tricky, but with some practice you can get great results. You can darken the sky a little and make clouds really pop. But in a place like Yellowstone you can get those no-reflection shots of the pools. I'm not saying I didn't like your shots, I'm just trying to help expand your shooting.

ok the wide brim is back.. is that Stetson.. i need a focal point on that hat .. . i'll start from memory instead of using the binge watching method.. so far a i am at 4 but that is a low count even from memory .. but that said .. You chicks eat great.. except for the salted butter.. unsalted always that way you conrol the salt to your liking .. and you can have all kinds of gourmet and stylish salt IE Hymalian pink or Hawaiian red or black, Grey sea or Flour De Sel . and i relent at the green jar cheese.. it will do just fine (i am Italian the green can is like only for SHTF) YES EXACTLY what you said @exactly 9:21!!! Now that is an awesome book to read.. i might just give that one a read.. i bet is is as good a read as Ben East's books i am reading Narrow Escapes and Danger right now they are a collection of amazing short stories all true too. Respect Nature it can change in the blink of an eye. WOW the ending was brilliant nice reprise at the end... ........................................
