Those are good times with your son, amazing all he's exposed to and learning. You have good equipment. If I could have more times like that with my son and daughter
What an amazing trip with your son! I'm slowly working up to this with my 2 grandsons 8/9. I take each out on our own, so the quality time is Priceless!! Gee, thx for setting the Culinary Camping Cuisine bar extremely high, I'M NOT SURE I WANT TO SHOW THIS VID TO THE KIDS !?!?! LMAO 😊👍
Awesome vid with the young fella, hard to get them engaged at times. What fish were those and did you keep and eat them. The grill made for easy work preparing multiple dishes. Never thought of doing that. Real beer this time, subscribed.
Haha I knew you would be back, I never said I was proud of the last beer. And yes I agree some times it's really hard to get them involved but the interest is getting better. No we didn't keep the fish we had too much to begin with , next time I won't pack so much.
@@escapingthegrind7000 I too have an RMax and a 14 yr old son. We have similar camping styles, but I take less stuff, lol. We're trekking the RMax across Newfoundland next week.
That handsaw would not work in British Columbia I never take glass in the bush, eventually you'll break one and they start forest fires and can harm people and animals feet.
@@escapingthegrind7000 Keep it as a a backup! Not saying you would, but I've had large trees fall behind me on exit and with a manual saw (I have one as well) it would have taken me hours to cut through if I could have. Mine's a gas saw, but you can get one of the good battery operated ones to keep the noise down. Happy trails my friend! :)
Looks like so much fun . Just look at the smile on his face, memories both of you will have for life !
Thanks for sharing !
It was a blast for sure! Thank you for watching

Amazing location I’m guessing northwest somewhere ?
Yeah it's a pretty cool spot, eastern Ontario.

Whose fender flares?
Mudbusters
@@escapingthegrind7000 I have the Max version. Work great and can still look out and see the tires.
@@kenp4464 I love them, I remember how much mud came in the cab prior to installing them and I'm glad I made the purchase
@@escapingthegrind7000 I debated for a while because of cost. It makes a big difference after every ride.
@@kenp4464 I agree 100%
Get yourself a chainsaw! :)
Haha I thought about it, but this is more reliable for me
