Safe* ones as well...some of these look like the blade would snap if the lock up didn't fail first. You could get 5 ka-bar dozier folding hunters for the price of this box and those are great knives.. 4 buck 112 slim select for $100 again great..loved the video though

I have all sorts of different blades, and I take great pride that even the cheapest of Chinese steel shaves and slices paper in my hands. Not purposely trying to be rude, but thats one you if you can't sharpen and maintain.

Actually, the knife/lighter is kinda awesome. I could use that when I'm smoking crack. That blade looks perfect for slicing & dividing the rocks, then right on top of the brillo in the straight shooter they go...and then bam! Switch to the lighter! Pure genius!

I know those knives are not of great quality, but the fact that they are available in many countries means some people are indeed buying them. I really hate those snobs saying they only buy Benchmade or Spyderco or WE or any other more expensive ones. Not everybody has so much money to spend on knives, most of us have families to feed and other stuff to buy. Thanks for the video.

The ridge runner slip joints seemed like good knives for the money, or good first knife. For 5-7$ they didn't try to make a flashy big knife, they made small kinda practical knives with pretty strong springs in the slip joint (judging by the sound compared to my Victorinox Climber)

I ordered something similar to this about 10 years ago from a shopping network. Not the highest quality knives, but all were sharp, had tight hit and held their edge. I still carry one in each of my cars, have in my workshop and gave several to friends. I paid less than $100.

You could arm a small army with that Many knives.
It wont be a well equipped army, but even the crapliest steel is better Than sticks and rocks
The first slipjoint was a small Toothpick (the Texas Toothpicks are 5" or longer closed), the second one was a Stockman, similar to a Trapper. The third through fifth slipjoints were also Toothpicks. I like the yellow and faux Stag ones. Interesting but I don't think it was worth the price unless you can resell them somewhere.
I don't know what kind of drugs you were on when you typed that. A stockman is nothing like a trapper.

I used to suffer from poison oak terribly. Then after getting upset for the final time I went to Walmart and bought every kind of treatment they had. One actually works. It’s expensive but if you’re like me you don’t care how much it costs. It’s called “Zanfel”. You can probably also order it online. It works no matter how long you’ve had it. Also if you shower with “dawn” dish soap after you’ve been in it you’re way less likely to get it. (Cuts the oil). Just some friendly advice for fellow sufferers.

What would you consider the best company to go with if you are a knife reseller and want quality knives
Depends if you’re a business. Blue Ridge Knives is a wholesaler with a huge variety of just about every knife brand. If you don’t have a business, I’d just look for really great sales and limited edition knives at places like Blade HQ. Once they are sold out, prices usually go up.

So those stiletto style knives were kinda popular after switchblades got banned. I’ve seen tons that have that pick lock but no flipping or automatic. It was a time before flippers but people still liked that style of knife. So they just made them without the button and spring.

I remember buying a BudK knife at a garage sale when I was young. From what I remember it looked very similar to a Lionsteel SR1, but definitely wasn’t one. Don’t remember what ever happened to it. I’ve been scouring the internet trying to find one. Also remember a knife I got at an army surplus store that looked similar to the knife at 19:25 in the video, but it was actually decent quality and had an Axis lock like a Benchmade. It was a Dakota brand knife, or at least that’s what the blade said on it. I can’t find either of them anywhere on the internet. It’s funny, I’ve currently got knives worth 20x the price I paid for those knives, but I still wish I had them for the sentimental value.

These are totally gas station/smoke shop knives but I will say. kissing Crane actually makes some pretty damn decent knives for the price you pay. Especially their lock back stiletto knives. They're made with burnt bone/jig bone and stag handles,brass pins. And decent steel.

Was it worth 100 dollars? Yes. You'll make way more than your investment bank reselling most of them. There were a few nice gentlemen's folders, but most of them were flashy junk. People buy that stuff if it's fairly cheap. If you're into collecting theme knives, you did ok too.

It’s fun to buy cheap knives; they’re funny and I don’t care if they break or I lose them. I got into splitting some wood from a tree that was absolutely covered in poison ivy so it was bad. I’m also extremely allergic to it. Just gotten worse with age.
