Thanks! I did my transmission fluid and filter last week on my 2020 Sierra 3.0. Looking forward to watching yours. I did my brake pads last year as well!
No problem and yea should be doing it pretty soon now. How was the Transition fluid change for you ? Awesome keeping up with the maintenance great work. 👍🏻
Hey bro I have a 2020 trail boss do you know why out of no where my transmission is going off gear it drives for a few seconds and out of now where it just goes of gear
Hey man I wouldn’t know the only thing I could think about is if you didn’t change the transmission oil at 50,000 miles that could be possibility. Let me know if you figure it out
You need a sealant like liquid teflon on the plugs never anti-seize. Anti-seize is used on bolts on various parts of a vehicle like the frame that don’t go into fluid. Anti-seize is made to slow down corrosion and doesn’t have any sealing properties.
The plugs most likely have a machined seal at the base, no sealant needed especially if it didn’t have any in the first place. Other plugs like motor oil drains have washers, gaskets, or o-rings. That is the reason for the torque specs, to ensure the seal is made, that you don’t OVERtighten, and that it won’t back out with vibration or temp fluctuation. A little anti-seize on the threads only is good to go, just don’t get it into the oil. If in doubt (and you don’t have an obvious puddle under your truck) check the plugs after a couple of days for oil residue around it.
Good lord!! Thats straight up robbery. You can do the vast majority of your routine services, unless you are not physically able. The only thing i dont do myself on my 2020 LT Trail Boss is the transmission service. For that i go to a local family owned and ran shop. Pay less money there and get better quality service.
Your videos are great! Simple and you always give good advice on the little details. Keep em comin!
Thank you man appreciate it! 👍🏻

Yes please do... I was told it's a sealed tranny and only to have Chevy service it. But there should be a way to do it yourself.
Good detailed video. Have you done the transmission video yet?
Thanks and not yet still working things out in that

@@J.A.P.S yeah 4 sure thank you for answering back bro.
Thanks! Is there any video for changing the coolant also?
Welcome. Will be doing that very soon as well
Do you know if it’s torque speck for the bolt? Maybe 10 lbs
Yea somewhere close to that I believe 10 or 15
Both plugs torque to 15ft lbs. clean up your threads and apply a thin bit of BLUE lock tight. 🤘🏻
Thank you👍
No problem
Did you end up doing the Transmission fluid?
No I’m still waiting for the manufacture warranty to end so I can put my hands on it lol
Hola lo sigo y me gustaría saber a Cada cuantas millas se le cambia ese aceite y cuál es el propósito de ese aceite

Hey Thank you I appreciate your knowledge you know being young I still have much to learn haha

@@ooxlinusxoo good info man 👍🏻
How many miles did you did yours brother o 53k miles my bad haha
I believe something like that as well 50-60k
So there's not a specific transfer case fluid? You just use the same ATF you'd put in your transmission?
The manual for my 22 custom trail boss LTD just says Dexron-VI automatic transmission fluid for the 4wd transfer case
That’s right
Dealer just ask me for 770$ dollar to change the fluid 😮
Wat a joke 😂

I’m done with Chevrolet vehicles . A truck you can’t fix your self isn’t worth having .
Well that's just about all new vehicles now a days so you may be better off in a horse and buggy lol
Hahah😂
