How To Reprogram Tire Pressure Sensors on 2007-2020 Chevy Silverado.!!
In this video, I will be showing you how I reprogram my tire sensors and put the vehicle in relearn mode for the TPMS. I also end up doing a tire rotation before I reset my tire sensors so if you want to skip right to the reprogramming you can skip to 4:55 and that’s when I start the reprogramming. I also thought I would share a couple of tools that I used that are helpful to have around and I’ll leave these in the description below. Hopefully this works for you.

Replacing Serpentine Belt / AC Belt & Pulley On 2020 Chevy Silverado.!!
Переглядів 49 тис.Рік тому
In this video, I’ll be showing you how to replace the drive belt, idler pulley, and the AC belt. I use the special tool for the AC belt, but couldn’t get it to work for the serpentine belt so I end up doing a trick, using zip ties and turning the engine on for a second so it slips right on. This model truck doesn’t have a tensioner pulley so it is very difficult to put on the stretch belt, but...

Переглядів 97 тис.Рік тому
In this video I will be showing you how I change the front and rear brake pads on the 2020 Chevy Custom Trail Boss Z71 Unfortunately for the rear brakes I tried putting it in brake service mode but it didn’t work so I had to do it manually or you can say the hard way. Soon after I was finished changing the brake pads I figured out how to put it in brake service mode so if you want to see that v...
How To Turn On Brake Service Mode 2020 Chevy Silverado.!!
Переглядів 183 тис.Рік тому
🛑🚨DO NOT TRY THIS IF YOU ALREADY REMOVED YOUR CALIPER ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVEN’T DISASSEMBLED!!!! The manual wasn’t to clear so this is how I put the truck into brake service mode after doing some research I ended up doing it the hard way, retracting the break pistons manually if only I would have known this I would have done this first and saved myself a whole bunch of time and headaches. Eve...

So what if I don’t have one of those orange hand held devices that you have there?
Nope, the flashing brake light went off after I pushed it one more time and then I did it again. Tried it again and it went off without pushing it one more time but it don't work on my 21 Chevy. I guess I'm going to try it again though
Does this work on a 2023 trailblazer
These work great!
Looks pretty new to have to replace the belt already at 63k miles.
How do u reset brake pad life on this exact year and model after changing brakes?
This is ridiculous that it's this aggravating to replace a belt. Make vehicles make sense again.
Agree
Is there any concern for the zip ties flying off when starting and causing some damage to any surrounding parts of the engine?
No worries they won’t harm anything
Your videos are so helpful man! Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work
Thanks bro appreciate the support 👍🏻
I have same truck my belt has slipped since bran new lol if there is heavy load on altenator and you floor it ive been able to smell belt rubber and i look at belt looks fine so wtf..bought truck new now has 22k on it the stretchbelt design is tarded.the first thing i in 10:42 stalled was the dfm dissabler if you 10:28 10:34 haven't you better get it so you dont loose an engine.
250$ jeesh rediculas
Good video, gracias
De nada!
You have the best video for changing the serpentine belt. It showed everything and didn't skip things orthers do. I will stick with my 70's Chevy trucks. They are so simple to work on. I wish I could find a video like your that shows replacing a 3.9 engine in a 06 Impala.
You're welcome! I agree, the 70s trucks were so easy.
Really appreciate the video. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Replacing both front and rear brakes tomorrow, is it fine to put it into service mode and leave it for both front and rear?
Yes no problem
READ BEFORE YOU START! Definitely put your truck in neutral before cranking the engine. -Push to start ignitions: with keys in cab NO foot on break hold the ignition button about 4 seconds, this starts your truck electronics without the engine on so you can then push the break and move to neutral with your park break on and chopped this allows you to rotate the engine crank pulley safely and easily. I read it could damage your transmission if you left it in park. -My belt was squeaking horribly for a few weeks. I changed both belts but cleaned up my idler pulley and reused it, it had rubber from the old belt but i greased it and cleaned up the grooves. -I cut both belts off to save my idler pulley from bending during removal. -I started using a 15/16 socket as I did not have a 24mm. I ended up buying one anyway later but it worked and didnt slip bad. -I broke my first AC belt attempt when it got twisted behind the AC pulley, he talks about this part around 7:30. I had to keep the AC belt guided on the AC pulley while my help cranked the ratchet. -Also the belt stretch tool was not helpful for me, I used 4 zip ties for the AC belt and 3 zip ties like many others here. -I had to buy an extra AC belt after the first got stuck but I still saved ~$400 doing this myself took a couple hours but I was being slow and making sure not to mess something up. -My old belt also shredded and I cleaned it off the engine bay. --Thanks for the video bro this helped buy some Christmas presents. -I also read you can install a belt tensioner pulley with these trucks? -My check engine light came on after this but that was because I accidentally started it putting it back in park without the HAF sensor attachted yet. I shut it off after 1 second and it just did a little burp when I got it back on no big deal. I checked the engine code and it was just the airflow sensor letting me know it had been disconnected so I cleared the code (you can do this by resetting the battery if you dont have a OBD) the light stayed off so far after that.
Wow thank for that brother we really appreciate your input in the other hand happy to help and that you were able to save some money good to know you spent it on presents 🎁 that’s awesome 👏🏻
Tengo ese problema en mi troca
Deverias aser el video en español porfas trae 2 vandas o solo una?
Thank you so much for the vedio Im trying to replace the belts on my 2021 chevy silverado. Thank you again for the great vedio.
Glad I could help!
Just used this video to replace alternator in 2019 Silverado. Same problem with no tensioner. The zip ties worked. Did it the same way by putting several zip ties and turning on the engine. The belt slid right on! Advice to anyone replacing the alternator. You will not have enough room to remove the bottom bolt. Use a T25 driver to remove the fan motor on that side. Allow the motor to gently fall down and it will rest in the shroud. That will give you plenty of room to remove the lower alternator bolt and to install a new one.
Did you put a new belt and new pulley too? Or just new alternator with the old belt/pulley
Glad the video helped you, thanks for sharing the tip about the fan motor!
I tell you what your not a mechanic but have a lot of tools lol
Haha wat can I say! I don’t like borrowing tools 🛠️
Really good video. I need to replace the belts on my 2021 Yukon, and this is perfect. Good angles, good explanations, part numbers. No fluff. Nice job.
Thanks man I appreciate it, glad it was no fluff 👍🏻
Thank you I was able to do it completely by myself do to your video 🎉
Tips I learned. Make sure to put it in brake service mode , you can use a c clamp to push in the piston to have room to put the brake pads just be careful and watch what your doing. Also I did everything correctly and by the book and my lights still came on . ABs, check engine light , traction , and trailer brakes. I drove around roughly 10 miles all lights but check engine went away. I went to go get it scan at o Rylies and when I turned it back on the light went away so I guess I did everything right 🎉
Awesome glad I could help out!
So you need a remote? Or is that just an extra and unnecessary tool in your hand?
Try to do it without it and let us know 😉
Did your check engine come on after ?
Yes but went away after
Good detailed video. Have you done the transmission video yet?
Thanks and not yet still working things out in that
Might be a repeat queation: the dealership said i cant change the brakes without a computer tool for im guessing the brake service. Does this apply to both front and rear brakes or just the rear? Thanks again
You can do both your self just have to put the vehicle on brake services mode to do the rear you can see my video of how to turn on brake services mode
When you have completed the brake job and you have all those codes come up, pump the brakes about 2/3 down for 45 seconds then release for 15 seconds . repeat 7 to 8 times with the key off. make sure when pumping you don't go all the way to the floor , stop while still stiff and hold it there, count then release. When the pistons were pushed back in during the service you did, it triggers a sensor in your brake system that throws all those codes pumping them up slowly engine off will build pressure back up, a code reader won't erase them, after you finish doing the pump procedure you will be left with just the check engine light and that is erasable. sounds like a pain in the butt, but I've done it a few times now, it works
Good info, thanks for sharing!
Bro, when the time comes to do my pads on my 2019 Z71, I’ll follow your instructions on your previous vid and make sure I put truck in brake service mode prior and get to wrenching. Thank you.
What codes/lights did you have on? I thought I was in service mode but maybe I wasnt.
Awesome job!
Just another thank you for the zip tie method described a 9:15 in the video. I walked out of the parts store not realizing the guy sold me a 22mm (not 24mm) socket and a tension (not stretch) belt tool. Three zip ties on the serp belt and bumping the starter worked like a charm!
Thank you.
Thank you, a lot, brother you helped me. The other vehicles is kind of different than mines but this video did help me step-by-step and let me fix my sensors. The rest of the videos are kind of different from my truck. This is exactly the same one. I got once again. I appreciate you a lot, brother. ❤
thanks for this vid literally gotta get up and do it
“They are tight because they are full of meat” That’s what she said.
Transmission oil video next!💪🏽
Will the zip-tie trick work for the AC belt?
My guy 👍🏼😎
Awesome Dude!!!
Great video! Will be replacing the belt and pulley soon. Your video was straight forward and to the point. Will you upload the transmission vid soon?
Good video. Very helpful. You made it look easy. 🙏🏽
Very well edited! Great video, thank you!
So what do I do if I have all my lights lit up cuz I put my new pads but I didn’t do the service thing
I’m a 34 year ASE mechanic that is one of the best descriptive videos I’ve seen yet great job brother!
I've seen a few videos and this works the best with no scan tool , thanks for sharing this information. God bless 🙏
Not sure how all of you are spending $200+ dollars on this stuff. $101 on Rockauto, all GM parts. Might swap out the AC belt for another brand and save even more, I don’t need that hunk of aluminum.
I don't have a key
Man I’ve learned so much watching your videos, I have the same truck and will save a lot of money being able to do what you do when it comes to servicing it, thanks for what you do and hope there will be more content!
