Luckily I was able to clean up the mess and it didn’t leave a oil stain on my concrete driveway. I sprayed it with Chemical Guys Nonsense, scrubbed with a stiff bristle brushand then hosed it down with tons of water from the hose Can’t even tell i spilled any atf.
Great timing on this vid. I have been looking for a reference to do this on my truck along with the front and rear diff. Appreciate you uploading these! I had only been able to find 2018 or older videos so far. I know it's a pretty similar process for all of them but it's nice to see a reference to your own model years. I watched your Rear diff video, I assume the front is similar as far as the process goes? Thanks!
Thanks for watching. I haven’t got around to doing my front diff yet. Apparently there’s no drain plug on the front diffs anymore. But removing the front diff cover is a little more difficult because it’s a tight area. I think I’m going use a transfer pump to remove the front diff fluid and then pump back in new fluid. That way I save the hassle of removing the cover. Hope that helps.
Not a recommendation - but I have ran Red Line D6 ATF in all my GM TC for many years with zero issues. My opinion - as long as it’s Dexron VI rated it’s suitable.
Good morning, isn't always that way. No matter how you try not to make a mess , you do. Hope you have a dandy weekend brother 😉

Thanks for watching.
Do i have to use ac delco fluid or can i use valvoline dextron 6?
I would recommend the AC Delco.

2019 silverado 8L90 transmission...im changing the fluid to mobile 1 synthetic, do i use the same for the transfer case? thanks
Won’t hurt.
Is this the same fluid for a 2020 2500HD GMC 6.6L Duramax transfer case?
Probably. But check your manual.
