Crews using heavy equipment to establish a fireguard, used water pumps and hoses to attack it head on. A helicopter and skimmer group dumped water on the fire to cool, allowing the crews to access it directly. Water was collected from Tyhee Lake and residents were asked to remain aware and stay clear of the skimmer group while they making their runs on the lake.
Arrived at Tyhee Lake to watch the skimmers. These clips were filmed at 3:25 pm and again at 3:32 pm.
