The demand for these planes is going to be tremendous.. Why no Canadian orders yet? We lost 15 million hectares of forest this summer and according to CBC radio our greenhouse gas emissions were 3.5x higher as a result.
The fires in Northern Alberta and in NWT had almost zero water bombers on them… just helicopters… this is beyond stupid and completely beyond my comprehension. If DeHavilland is building new bombers the Canadian govt. sure as hell better order at least 100 and that order better damn well be filled before we sell ONE plane to another country.
Firefighting is a provincial responsibility yet you rant about what the Canadian government should do for a 'sovereign' Alberta rather than demanding the Alberta Conservatives do their jobs.

Didn't see a single plane on the Shuswap fires, only 30-year-old surplus helicopters. The fires are still burning on the Shuswap!!!

the fires are made by BC'ers, the planes should be too
