  • Heritage Guitars are not just 'Gibson Copies', they continues the legacy of the legendary vintage guitars built in the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo. On top of that a Heritage Custom Shop is more accessible when compared to its inspiration. | tinyurl.com/yerl4hu3

The Heritage Custom Shop H-150 Plain Top is not just a more affordable version of its flame top counterpart. The plain top is actually historically correct when looking at the first burst Gibson Les Pauls, and what's even more alluring, is the fact that these Heritage guitars are built in the same factory as those first Les Pauls!
In This video we also show case a gorgeous Heritage H-535 Artisan Aged Semi-Hollow in Pelham Blue, a beautiful colour rarely seen on these types of guitars.

I visited the Heritage factory in November 2021. Watched the craftsman build these beautiful guitars from blocks of wood. Met the employees, all with years of experience. Its a custom shop at its finest. I now have a Heritage and absolutely love it!

The best Gibsons made haven't been branded Gibson in decades. The 225 Parsons St. "Gibson" factory is still pumping out the best sounding and feeling Les Pauls for less money than Gibson charges. Heritage has been my #1 guitar for twenty years.

The custom shop heritage have in house wound pickups. They were designed by Edwim Wilson who is the same person who designed the custom bucker which according to him is not just a Burstbucucker with An A3 magnet but a pickup with a completely different wind pattern and coil offset . He originally designed the custombucker for the Jimmy Page Numbeer 1 replica and for several years were only used in the Page signature guitars them they were used in the Beano les paul replica then they were used as exclusives for wildwood and Chicago music exchange and then in 2013 they were introduced as the standard pickup for custom shop guitars. Many belive that the Page custom pickups were just Burstbuckers with A3 Mags but this is not true ..They were the original custombucker and were based on the pickups in Pages number 1 when Gibson examined it in 2003.

Another difference between the standard and custom shop that you didn't mention is that the standard headstock logo says "The Heritage" and the custom shop just says "Heritage". They removed the word "The" from the logo on the custom shop ones, which looks much classier in my opinion.

Bought a 2022 Custom Core H-150 in cherry burst in December. Its great, every bit as good as my Gibson Custom Shop models, including a 2004 R7. Lightweight, resonant and the lower output 225 pickups sound much better to me than Gibson's Burstbuckers. In fact after hearing them I may swap out the Burstbuckers on the R7 for something closer to the 225's. I'm waiting for Edwin Wilson to announce Custom Core 535's.

Throw up some scale charts on Anderton's site..
give us a Bitly link with a note in description saying something like.. -> 10:05 Noodling in A minor Blues..
As much as I'd occasionally like to see some Tab for some of your jams... that's asking Way too much. The Heritage headstock is similar to the Gibson "Snakehead" headstock, the sort of thing you find on 1920s mandolins and guitars. It also has the advantage of a straighter string pull. The ES-369 and MK series acoustics also had headstocks similar to the Heritage. Also bear in mind the Japanese "lawsuit" Les Pauls attracted Gibson's ire because of the headstock shape...

Levi Seacer Jr. played a pelham blue 335 with the Prince and the New Power Generation. Though, one could be forgiven for not paying attention to the band in some of those videos.

Nitro darkens and yellows but that's not what causes the colours to fade ...that's the aniline dyes they use to colour the guitars , which aren't very lightfast.

For whatever reason I'm not to keen on buying a real Gibson, and that was before I learned of the quality issues and some of the recent bad press.
I always like underdogs or something different. Similarly when I wanted a Strat but not a fender I went for a G&L.

But come on, think about it. Imagine how much a Murphy aged car would cost you!

H-150s also have Nashville-style bridges for both Standard and Custom Core, not the ABR-1 screwed directly into the body, while Gibson Custom reissues do. Gibson USA LPs don’t have a true ABR-1 either, but rather an ABR-1 bridge mounted on conversion studs. Some people think the ABR-1 screwed into the body sounds the best, most people think it looks better because it’s skinnier. You come to your own conclusions.

I love the smell of nitro in the morning, also goes for people flying model airplanes with nitro motors. Different smell, I'm sure, but just saying, bigger market for the aftershave / eau de toilette

lots of the guitar sellers you can get an intrest free plan, and spend 100 a month for a couple years to get one....not that big of a deal for an amazing guitar..,unlike most other hobbies at least the guitar holds its value relative to inflation.
