The original video was hit with 'Limited adds', so this is a re-upload, but I made it better with new scenes and 4K upscaled footage.
But why Limited adds.? I think it's because UA-cam has placed this channel on alert and is deliberately hitting these videos before it's even done uploading yet.
What does Limited adds mean? It means that it will not get the views it would normally get and the video will fall out off UA-cam's algorithm.
Most of the time it will get adds back after review, sadly that's not working anymore. So i'm getting demonetized without breaking the UA-cam guidelines.
As a result, my channel has been slowly dying, and I really have no motivation to make any new videos.
Also, most of the extra information in the comments, I always implemented is gone, just to not piss off the broken YT Bots even more.
sorry to hear. the videos are fantastic.
Just do what you can. 40K subscribers is better than many channels. Good luck.
I hear you...fucking you tube now a days.. keep fighting
I have previously supported you in your push back to utube. But this one "mighty 88mm" "original sound" is complete bollocks.
Please stop whinging. Either continue posting footage or admit you are a Nazi fanboy. I'm sick of the dog whistles here that attract the howling pack.
Stick in some rainbows and unicorns then they'll be happy with it.
Those tanks were Beasts!...A legend in its own time!...
The way the 88 recoils and is controlled in a 16 ton turret with a flat trajectory made it very accurate.
The Commanders and crew of Tiger tanks would have felt like Gods of War when they were first introduced.☠️👍😎 Cheers!
"В первые дни войны" танков Тигр еще не было.
Ich glaube das der erste Einsatz vom Tiger I Ende August ' 1942 stattfand. Wäre er doch früher zum Einsatz gekommen ...
@@franks9414 You might as well say, "If only the Pershing had been introduced earlier." All of the tanks were answers to the other side making bigger, better tanks. The Germans got obsessed with the "bigger" part, though. I don't think the Tigers would have fared as well if they weren't mainly fighting a defensive war, which Germany was from around late 1942. Their supply lines kept getting shorter, while the Allies had to transport their stuff through longer and longer distances.
@@oldesertguy9616The Tiger was actually a planned development for the next ten years or so that would have looked completely different by then, but in 1941 they panicked when the soviets had better tanks and rushed it into production
Thanks for a terrific video on the Tigers firing the 88mm!!!!!
Seeing the wrecked T-34s, I’m reminded of the Stalin quote, “Quantity has a quality of its own.” Tigers were impressive beasts, especially in defense. But the Germans were just overwhelmed by shear numbers of T-34s, Shermans, Cromwells, etc.
Yep, same thing as with air power. The German fighters were better, just outnumbered
Yea. UA-cam is still trying to disappear up it's own backside again. Still stoked to come across your videos when they're allowed to be seen. Don't stop doing them. Cos they are appreciated by those who actually get to see them. This one is brilliant. Keep up with the good work.
Their botsystem is completly broken, which would not be a problem for creators if they have real people reviewing counter claims when they come in. But they don't care one bit.
@@PanzerInsight sadly this seems to be the problem right across all social media at the moment. Instagram is even worse. I dread to think what the others are like.
Wow, I didn't know that the tiger's hull didn't move when 88 gun fired!!!!
The Tiger just LOOKS like the last thing you would EVER want to be the last t hing you ever saw.
A Pershing was destroyed by this little thing. Imagine the King Tiger or the JagdTiger 122mm

I love to hear Panzerkitty's mighty ROAR!
Big Cat
Great sound.
One of the roles my grandpa had in world war II was motorcycle dispatch-carrier. He had raced motor cycles back home in USA and could fix them too.
Supposedly, he told my dad that one time he crashed his bike because rain and roads were terrible. Damaged his tail pipe/exhaust tube. So he found a 88mm spent canister and built a giant muffler for his bike. He told my dad that whenever he road through places lots of people dove for cover or ran away. He didnt understand why...until in battle of the bulge he came under german 88 gun fire....his bike sounded like an incoming 88 round! 😅
He also said you could hear the german tanks coming and differentiate them from American tanks because of super loud "squeaking." German ball bearing factories had been bombed.
That's one of the things I loved about the movie "They shall not grow old." They put sound to the footage, which is always lacking in documentaries.
Awesome, thanks for sharing
You're welcome.
Highest knock out ratio of any tank in WW2. 12:1 overall.
Well they were recording without sound in most cases I believe & have added sound later in editing... but this really sounds legit. Nice work.
Excellent footage.
Don't what they say, it's still THE iconic tank of WW2
To few Tigers and Russian winter weather = Big problems. Thanks for the video.
Some great footage there, most I've not seen before, I can only imagine what it must have been like for an Allied Tanker when they came across any of the Tiger variants, until the Firefly came into play, there was nothing capable of taking out a Tiger, you have a new subscriber 👍
The Tiger is fierce but a King Tiger with a trained crew and no mechanical or fuel issues on the open Steppe would surely reek havoc.
They all had mechanical and fuel issues, though.
And the quality of their armor was poor that late in the war.
@@jamest4383 I would rather be in a panther with a top notch crew. Put track links on weak areas and wade into the fray.
Tiger 👊👍✌
Holy moly
Very nice 👍💪
Our tank guns looked like matchsticks...theirs looked like telephone poles..quote!!
Just dishing out punishment!!! 🐯
excelente
Ein schönes Tier
Hermoso video de nuestro imponente tigre, un enemigo muy temido en cualquier etapa del conflicto.
Tigers were vulnerable in towns and forests I’m guessing
HelssBellssss.....
Tigers were vulnerable in towns and forests I’m guessing hard to maneuver
No music is very good !!
Almost All destroyed, and human crews.
Those cameras didn't record sound ,so it's edited ,nice video anyway
It's orginal newsreel sound and some parts are original to the original newsreel. But pretty much every sound effect in these newsreel is indeed fake.
A real pity the gearboxes were crap.
Lullaby for Men...
Those ones that kept the road into Kharkov open in the winter of 43 with Canadian tire blowtorches hot coco
and rcmp bubble hash from the caucuses were special but they came from Mars not Manheim.
At 2.32 that looks like a Sherman turret left in the rubble, devastation , left behind, get the hell out,!
It's a T-34 turret. :)
Now we have CNNs democrats not liking the jews all these years later. History repeats.
