Nice color combination -- very striking and looks great on camera. Re: the name for these types of blocks, I believe a block like this just falls into the larger category of "disappearing blocks," instead of fading, regardless of the size of the cuts you make. Love the way this turned out!
@@shawnaleewhitney6630 thank you for the info! I really have no idea what things are called most of the time, but I just roll with it because I like it 🤣🤣🤣
Hello Phistina. I really enjoyed yuor personality. I dont sew yet but one day I would like to sew by ... as attaching fabric to clothing. Keep sewing and shining 🌻🌻✨✨💃🏽💃🏽
I watched from beginning to end. Great view! I think you are brave! So what if there are things in the backround? I can see from your less than perfect cutting mat you are seasoned! I'm taking lessons 😊
@@Tippers94 haha I’m not perfect in any way (and never will be 😂) but I feel like I have something to share so I’m gonna just go for it! And yes my cutting mat has *definitely* seen better days, but it works! Thank you so very much for watching! 😊
Never heard open seams called butterfly and I’m 68 from Australia. I would only do that on a garment and fold to the dark side for quilts - mind you I’m only learning from UA-cam clips.
Love a disappearing 9 patch block and your placement of color is so perfect.
@@VirginiaReitz thank you so much! I was glad to have that color combo in my stash! 😊
Thanks! And thank you for keeping it “real”! 💕
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
I love listening to your very smooth voice. I wish you the best in your crafting and UA-cam adventures! BTW, nice disappearing 9 patch variation!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate the kind words! I will do my best!🥹😊
So glad I found your channel! Merry Christmas and happy new year to you. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Welcome to the channel, I'm so glad you're here! 😊
Very cute. I like that block and you colour palette
@@trevarnewighton2954 thank you so much! They really popped together so well, I had to go for it 😂😊

@@karencarlyle9158 thank you!
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed learning how to make this easy quilt block. What's your favorite quilt block pattern?

I heard the term recently in a YT video, wasn’t sure if it was some “new” term or something I’ve missed over the years. 😂
@ I think it must be a new term. Seems a lot of young ones are on UA-cam showing how to do some things Where are you from?
@ I’m in the southeast USA!
@@phistina what state? How are you going with Trump in? Has he made any challenging changes yet?
It’s very unusual for me to have a chat session on UA-cam. Usually everyone is asleep when I’m awake
Rushing is my problem also. Hope we can cure it😅
I’m right there with you, it’s a constant struggle that I'm doing my best to work on lol
