Ricky was the goat on nfl street for PlayStation 2
mike vick
+brian chavez Best sports game to ever grace us.
+spideyman20015 I agree
Ken stabler Eric Dickerson Ricky Williams that's a throwback
Sam Madison / Champ Bailey (rated the same) were on my list too.
Even now at Dolphins games people are still rocking Ricky Williams jerseys
He's a Dolphins legend, hell yeah people wear that jersey
Eagles fans still wear bdawk
It's better getting a legend than a jersey of a player that could leave the team soon
It's better getting a legend than a jersey of a player that could leave the team soon
We also have a running back named Damian Williams who ALSO plays number 34 too, so they can be duel purpose.
with all the amazing plays that Ricky Williams had throughout his career this is a pretty weak list. COME' ON MAN!!!
exactly what I was thinking. a totally underwhelming highlight reel. that ball toss to a receiver lol how did that make it so high it's not even a top 100 RW play.
+Is Az for real lmfao!
I guess they were trying to show he was multidimensional lol. Ricky was a beast runner that's what we wanna see.
+Is Az exactly! I would like to c those hard runs but hopefully that's what they where trying to prove with this list lmfao
Nicholas Leon bro it's ran by the "NFL" of course they're biased af...
Broke 10,000 yards barely trying. Could have been the GOAT if he really wanted it
no
He got 100000 in 12 seasons.... He would of NEVER been GOAT
GOAT? What does that stand for
True that
+Brett he was suspended for like two whole seasons
If he never got injured, or retired briefly, he couldve been a top 5 RB of all time.
digitalchaosjr yeah it was the retirement and the multiple suspensions that really stopped him from being one of the greats
not top 5, top 10
He still managed to get 10k yds and over 70 tds despite his limited career. One of the best RBs of all time.
@@_saucyam_ you're tripping
TRU STORI
Ricky used to run over people. That's why he's so memorable to me. The contact he delivered on his hits was brutal.
look at the Bills in your REAR.....mirror
even tho he was drafted by the Saints he will always be a DOLPHIN!!....FINZ UP
+TheLakerFan 24 lil bioootch go troll somewhere else hater
+TheLakerFan 24 dolphins really are trash tho
+Joe Jones they might make it in to the playoffs next year.
+Jose Gutierrez he's a LONGHORN FOR LIFE!!!!!!
🐬🆙
Something about that #34...
I was thinking the same thing! I’m sure the # helps but even before he changed his # at UT he reminded me of Bo!
I fw that number heavy
For running back of course
m.ua-cam.com/video/-on7Vnbo4AQ/v-deo.html
As someone who knows him personally, he’s a stud on the field and off the field. 🔥
Suspect
My favorite player growing up....god, he was a man at Texas *Hook Em*
m.ua-cam.com/video/-on7Vnbo4AQ/v-deo.html
Ricky is the reason I’m a fins fan. I found one of his posters in the 3rd grade at a Book Fair in grade school and I just thought he was the coolest looking football player I’d ever seen in the artwork. Been a fan ever since ❤️
Anyone here after the no jumper interview? Had to see his favorite TD. The spin against Ed Reed
Me lol
That was smooth.
3:21 “Jets showing blitz , They draw to Ricky , lookin for room finds it at the 50” … the commentator and the beat was on point !!
Ricky had size and gave you the moves. What a beast!
Loved watching Ricky at Miami! He is a legend for sure
Jets fan here. I remember a constant feeling of dread every time RW was in the backfield. First down after first down. Such an underrated player
Got to watch him play at Texas. Dude was a man among boys and a hell of a good person.
Man, he burned right by those defenses... He smoked the competition!
The year that he had for the Dolphins, when he rushed for over 1800 yards, was representative of the career this guy should have had.
What a beast, and such a chill dude to be making the plays he made. One of my top 3 favorite players no doubt
had goat potential
+Big Guwop idk about goat but def up there
i wouldnt go that far..but he could've been one of the all time greats for sure.. but THEE goat.. idk about that
Agreed. Definitely had GOAT potential and still one of the greats in my eyes. That combination of power and speed was crazy. Mike Dikta saw it hence why he traded damn near all the Saints' picks for him. Ultimately, it placed too much pressure on Ricky to fix an already bad Saints team. Couple that with Master P as your agent, you're begging for a disaster. It was obvious that he wasn't happy in NO. He was overweight, socially awkward, etc. As a Miami sports fan, when he was traded to the Dolphins it was equivalent to Shaq being traded to the Heat. He brought that type of impact. He got back to his Texas longhorns days and wreaked havoc. Too bad the Dolphins never upgraded the QB position and ran Ricky ragged. We all know what transpired from there. But all in all, if he really wanted to, he could have did some serious damage to the record books.
what does that even mean? He hit his potential
m.ua-cam.com/video/-on7Vnbo4AQ/v-deo.html
I forgot how lethal this guy was. Growing up watching him play was crazy!
Run Ricky Run!
m.ua-cam.com/video/-on7Vnbo4AQ/v-deo.html
I love the all white dolphins jersies-especially when they get dirty from the grass & baseball field dirt. I love this game!🏈
I forgot how fast Ricky was... I'm a OU Sooner, but it was a damn pleasure watching him run the ball at Texas and in the pros.
“I got high when I forgot I wasn’t supposed to get high”
-Ricky Williams
His 2002 season was one of the reasons I fell in love with the Miami Dolphins
"I was gonna to run the ball, but then i got high. I was gonna get up and find the endzone, but then i got high."
It's sad because so many won't get it
Underrated comment
Ricky Williams was just an animal!!
My favourite player in NFL history!! Reason I'm a Dolphins fan. RUN RICKY RUN!!!
One of the most exciting running backs I've ever watched
I'm here for this. I love Ricky Williams man just sad how he left the league but I was glad he came back. The man was exciting to watch.
When did he come back?
+Ice Phoenix when he played for the Ravens
Remember when the Saints traded the ENTIRE draft for Ricky Williams
I try not to think about it.
DarkDenDan is that good or bad?
2_6.forever Wat do you think
@@thedudewiththeflatop considering he went to the dolphins like 2 seasons later...pukka terrible management decision
I remember that weird wedding dress SI cover!
53 yards ricky wow great top 10 lets go fins makes me want to become a dolphins fan
He is the reason why I am a Dolphin Fan the GOAT❤️🙌🏼🙌🏼🔥🔥
that last run was perfection. waited for the whole and hit it like a freight train. he saw the hole and went from 0 to unstoppable juggernaut.
One of my favorite RBs growing up.
I believe he could have been one of the best. He had the whole package.
There was something about his strides running the ball and the flowing hair. It was just so cool.
UA-cam recommended this after his No Jumper interview shoutout Tiny Cuh
Keke did the interview
The crazy thing is the number nine play was actually Ricky Williams's most memorable touchdown in his own words. Because I'm a cut back the safety was not supposed to be there and the fact that it was Ray Lewis and Ed Reed on that Baltimore defense was a lot to him
No way these were the best 10 plays they could find.
proabably the clearest
@@VonJay lol, top 10 plays based on video quality.
he's the reason why i love football. only seen the phins in the playoffs once but #Phinsup
Ricky changed the NfL 💯
Anyone remember Ricky driving down the field with ease during the closing minutes when playing for the Ravens and winded tired Ray Rice was stuffed 3 times and the game winning pass was dropped. They went with youth over production.
all bout US I sure do. Ravens would've been in the super bowl.
That combo of speed and power doesn't come along very often it was a pleasure watching him every Sunday.
My favorite runningback EVER!
That first year in Miami was legendary!
This guy had the strength and some what the build of Earl Campbell and the catching of Jamal Charles
Can’t get over how fricken fast he was
The best RB I've seen on the fins since I started watching.
The dude got 10,000 career rushing yards, he didnt play football for 2 whole years! Imagine how great he could've been if he was in his right mind?
+morraynumbah52 i used to say the same thing bro..hed be in the HOF
Kevin Marcel M. what a sad waste of talent, he was the josh gordon of nfl before josh gordon. Hopefully josh gets like Ricky and learns that you have plenty of time to get high when you retire, enjoy your career right now before you lose it.
morraynumbah52 couldn't agree more bro its so sad
10000 yards is hardly a waste? He did what he wanted and was a really unique person who had crippling social anxiety. Hes found happiness so I wouldnt feel right calling him a waste
+morraynumbah52 "what a sad waste of talent" the guy played for 12 seasons and had 10000 yards....
Underrated him and Chris Johnson#Facts💯
When he turned up field it was over. Hated him as I'm a Jets fan but man was he talented.
The greatest NFL Street player of all time..
Those were the good 'ol days!!!
Ricky playing for the U , would have been amazing
sticky Ricky ! i will never forget that saints draft lol
My favorite Dolphins Legend of all Time
number 9, nice play, sweet spin move, then you realise it was against Ed Reed, damn.
2:26 is the fastest I've ever seen him. That was nuts 😁
For a RB his size he was pretty fast.
Respect the legends that come before you young bulls!!! 🐬
I didn't know about Ricky Williams seems like a great player
could have chosen better plays
Josh Gordon is a poor mans Ricky Williams
How
how they're two different positions
Oh I thought you meant in. The way they played
+Garrett Thonas He's talking about how they both are great football players when on the field, just they both made dumb mistakes off the field.
Oh ok
Nice hearing the late, great Mad Dog Jim Mandich providing color commentary. ALRIIIIIGHT!!!
Legend
The cannabis smoker’s hero…he who said, “I would not have won the Heisman without marijuana.”
Yes, oh DEA, we know you’re liars, and Ricky William’s awesome career is just more proof of that.
May God bless this man.
Thank you, NFL for sharing these highlights, and may God bless you for stopping the unjust policy of forbidding the athletes from using cannabis.
One of the most interesting stories in the history of the NFL.
The legend
Ricky Williams should be in the hall of fame
Just allow players to smoke... Most do why punish them so harshly for it
it's against the law in majority of states
+Reggie James and it should be against the law to get nfl players addict to pain pills.....
Travas Smith bad influence for kids who looks up to them
Hampers their ability
Burnt Toaster Strudel not really
Those orange dolphins jerseys are dope👍🏼
2:30 the way he downshifted and instantly took off. Incredible.
These highlights are 420 man
I just briefly met him at the dispo today, seems like a cool dude
#TeamHighsman
Anybody came from the No Jumper interview to see that Ravens counter he was talking about 😂😂
Ah man do I miss me some mad dog calling those fins games! The absolute best!!
ALLLLLLLLRRRRIIIIGGGHHHHT MIIIIIAAMIII!!!!
Missing the reverse field touchdown against the Jags in 03
Best pure running back of all time
he was a BOSS
2:26 ! I forget how fast he was in his younger years.
Seems like you missed some, he was famous for his stiff arm.
The Truth!!! 💪🏾
As a born and raised Miami guy I fell confident is saying that Ricky is the 2nd most talented player ever to wear the aqua and orange
That spin move by Fiedler at 2:45 would have looked ridiculous on almost ony other play but here it looks like it's by design.
Ricky was beast mode before it even existed
YOOO on play #1 the commentator had bars on that dude was lit
Arm band Ricky was another level
Ricky was so god damn fast and explosive. Legs like tree trunks.
Best running back with dreads ever.
God he was amazing and very fast
Cool that I have the same birthday as him!!!
I never realized that nasty ass spin move was on Ed reed till now
Ed Reed had some nice tackles but people seem to forget that was a ball hawk type safety. Was average at tackling though.
People will never truly understand how great Ricky Was..
Dreadlock Ricky was unstoppable
Phins Up ! Miss this dude
Ricky was sick!
OG of the Mirror Visor and Dreadlocks
