A lot of fans remember him as being Los Angeles Ram, a great player obviously. I knew him personally, today is a sad day for Ram's fans as well as Steelers fans...
I loved Kevin Greene and Sam Mills☆So sad that both of theme are gone☆That 96 Panthers linebacker core was cold☆U had Greene, Lathon, and Mills☆Or in Pittsburgh you had Chad Brown, Greg Lloyd, and Greene, or in New Orleans u had the Dome Patrol with Mills, Jackson, Swilling and Johnson☆All 4 members of the Dome Patrol went to the Pro Bowl☆
I always enjoyed watching Kevin Greene play because you could tell how much fun he was having. He truly enjoyed playing football. And he always played at flat out, full speed with so much energy and passion.
so many mistakes made by the Steelers in that era. its a testament to cowher's genius and the greatness of that roster that they made it to the one super bowl even if they lost
My Mom got his autograph for me, while at Catalina Island back when he first came to the Steelers. He was their with his wife, and although she didn’t know who it was, I sure did when she gave it to me!!! R.I.P. to both of them.
Kevin Greene was my favorite player of that era...if you were the opposing quarterback you didn't forget for a second that they were ready & able to fk up your day
For such a small town, the Pittsburgh Steelers sure had a few great players. Didn't they just build a new Quickie Mart down at the intersection of 1st and Elm Street?
I saw him in the Pittsburgh locker room in 2016 and asked for a picture or autograph and he said no. It was probably the greatest let down in my adult life
Seems Like a Small Thing But It Was Probably One of the Things that Contributed to a Short Life. One of the Things. I’m Just Saying That, As a Fan, You Put Yourself Out There. He Should Have Signed and Said Thank You but I Can’t Spend More Time. 40 Seconds Max. I’m Sure You Felt Bad. Sorry.
..... 0:52 ...nothing is as SCARY as looking right and seeing a fucking BEAR 10 feet away runnin towards you. It did whats natural....just fall to the ground lol
I met him in 94 in Destin FL. I was a chef from PA Steelers fan of course. Coolest dude, took me out to see his redone 69 Charger and signed autographs for my family. Great guy!@
I remember training camp 1995. Mr. Green refused to sign autographs for a bunch of kids. He intentionally avoided the young folk's and walked away. I was a grown man at the time and I walked over to Greene and told him he was a ass whole. When the camera's weren't rolling he wasn't a nice person.
I remember the year at Pit. where he led the league in sacks but was snubbed from the Pro Bowl. I haven't done the research, but i doubt that has ever happened before or since.
Lmao Jeffery Here’s your🏆 How old are you 12-13 The Trophy is for the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard said about Bill Cowher. You should demand the football Hall of Fame kick him out.
Blitzburgh Rules! RIP Kevin.
He was coaching high school where I live before he passed away. Great guy
Kevin Greene and Greg Lloyd what a duo

Just after watching this, I heard the sad news that Franco Harris had passed away. A Giant on the football field, Rest in Peace, Mr. Harris.
Trully a giant of the game.
A lot of fans remember him as being Los Angeles Ram, a great player obviously. I knew him personally, today is a sad day for Ram's fans as well as Steelers fans...

Yes, a super defensive player. Fond memories of him playing for the Rams. May he rest in peace.
Kevin Greene was a bad man

Don't forget Levan Kirkland
@@markcarlson7394 I forgot about Kirkland⭐️
It was rare for the Steelers to bring in outside talent in that era, but man, what a fit he was. Thank you Rams, also thank you for Bettis.
It was so fun to watch football back then. It was just....football.
Rest in peace KEVIN GREENE 💛
What? When? Kevin died?
I hope it wasn't from the jab
@anthonylamanna9330 heart attack December 21, 2020. Just before Christmas. I definitely say it was that poison.
Ya cause you know for sure...did you personally perform the autopsy?? @NikofromNikosDeli
Kevin was not only a great player, but a great guy too. He took time to come over and talk to me after practice one day and signed my Steeler hat too.
A.monster that will always be remember in Pittsburgh..one of my all time favorites on defense
they are real gladiators, not the ones from now
I always enjoyed watching Kevin Greene play because you could tell how much fun he was having. He truly enjoyed playing football. And he always played at flat out, full speed with so much energy and passion.
The good old days of the Steelers great coach great players
Always thought of him as Pittsburghs version of He-Man. One hell of a player.
His time on Earth and with the Steelers was way too short, but one that will not be forgotten.
And to think 50% of those would be considered RTP today. QB of today are sis's with a few exceptions.
Loved watching him as a kid. He was like a heat seeking missile.
Most sacks by linebacker R. I P. Kevin a showman on the field
Dude had two heart surgeries to place stents. Not sure how a fatal heart attack would be surprising. RIP brother, I always enjoyed watching you play.
Biggest mistake the Steelers made was letting Kevin leave after just 3 years! He was an iconic player!!
I agree 100%
so many mistakes made by the Steelers in that era. its a testament to cowher's genius and the greatness of that roster that they made it to the one super bowl even if they lost
Damn I miss our Velossa Raptors. Greene and Lloyd!
My dad met Kevin Greene in a bar in Pittsburgh when they won the AFC Championship game/ lost the Super Bowl that year
Wow. So did a million other people every year. I was Kevin’s neighbor and friend for 6 years
R.I.P. Kevin
Old school NFL.

Is he a Pittsburgh Steeler or a Carolina Panther?
HOF #91 put a lot of hof qb's down on the grass...👍🇺🇸🍻
They are part of.long Dynasty. That's why they are the best of the best

I did like his McDonald's commercial, but he's probably a stealer even though I heard him say he's A panther

Kevin Greene was a combination of Lambert and Harrison .... a BAD MAN !
I remember the year at Pit. where he led the league in sacks but was snubbed from the Pro Bowl. I haven't done the research, but i doubt that has ever happened before or since.
Steelers did him wrong. One of Cowher's blunders.
Forever part of The Steel Curtain, act 2.
Just awesome from Northside rocks
Like coach coward said heaven's defense just got a whole lot better 🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤
More of a ram then a Steeler but ok…
The best pass rusher in Steeler history
