  • A peep into the innards of this Indian Designed, Developed and Manufactured carbine. The JVPC is easy to field strip. A practised hand can do it in under 30 seconds.

    • @danydash316
      @danydash316 3 роки тому

      It is not an SMG. People always assume that this is an SMG but it is a carbine and it is chambered in 5.56×30 mm rounds specially developed for this gun. It is developed under the INSAS programme of the Indian small arms system. So they basically took an Indian insas rifle and configured it in a semi bullpup design and converted the standard nato 5.56 into 5.56×30 mm for this carbine. It is called MSMC modern sub machine carbine or JVPC joint venture point carbine.

      @@yenihesap4090 it can penetrate soft body armours and it is meant only for CQB stuff. Indian army usually have battlegrounds in the Himalayas or the thar hot desert and i don't think so that they need a CQB small arm for long range engagements they recently ordered 140,000 sig sauer 716 for their frontline troops. JVPC is already in service with India's paramilitary troops because they have to usually take up on close combat in counter terror and insurgency operations and india has been using 9×19mm guns for CQB so this gun will add up the firepower and the penetration after it replaces all of those UZIs and mp9s.

    • @yenihesap4090
      @yenihesap4090 3 роки тому

      @@danydash316 it's just for urban warfare however in order to penetrate soft body armor bullet should have steel core. I don't see any future of middle caliber cartridges. The best disappointing example is fn p90. Americans know their shit so that they go for 5.56x45mm.

    i want to ask u 3 questions ?
    First does the magazine falls free (under gravity) when u press the magazine release button ??
    It should as it takes a lot less time when magazine has fallen out on its own and then u insert a new one
    Second Question Does JVPC has last round bolt open feature ???
    It should be there as it saves crucial seconds while reloading
    here is the link of a video to show u exactly what i m talking about
    in first few minutes he talks about this feature

    Third is it open bolt gun or closed bolt ??

    • @bali1538
      @bali1538 7 років тому +1

      Sir u should have at least looked at Wikipedia
      Army is supposed to induct them and in warfare terminology
      "OFFENCE is the DEFENSE"
      u cannot be a Gandhi in warfare and claim TIME PLEASE or CHEATING
      this is loser mentality of v Indians (please don't take it personally) thats why every Tom Dick and Harry ruled over us
      Why r our soldiers and policemen supposed to have mediocre weapons
      Had our policemen got best weapons and training before 2008 attack then terrorists would have been neutralized by them at the spot
      and in Army this weapon will be highly useful in urban warfare e.g Room clearance and when the enemy would have broken our soldier's defences and come within 100m and r about to overrun them
      In that situation every second will count
      eg the time it takes to reload ,how long can it sustain rapid fire ,how lethal is the bullet (penetration ),how much environmental factors like water ,mud,snow,sand etc can it tolerate
      Army is still using WW2 vintage Sterling carbine If its only for defence then why to upgrade ? just to justify high pays taken by OFB personnel when the new product is not the best and state of the art?
      Think Sir

    • @sy-en
      @sy-en 7 років тому

      cameroon poe it is decent upgrade to sterlings. Mainly for CQB not for use at border.

    • @bali1538
      @bali1538 7 років тому

      indeed it is for CQB yet BSF soldiers carry MX Storm 9mm carbines while patrolling borders
      JVPC claim 300m range it should have say atleast upto 200m
      i will call it good upgrade only if it passes the accuracy test,endurance test and uses latest advancements in technology and our soldiers show full confidence in this weapon
      our soldiers have more confidence in AKs than INSAS rifles as its rate of failure is much higher than AKs and don't forget what the enemy has got

      It is not the caliber of the weapon i am talking about its the use of the weapon for whom and where they'll be used -- in any case forget it you wont understand it -- they /it is meant to replace sten machine carbine presently in use but with better characteristics

    • @utkarshadhikari5525
      @utkarshadhikari5525 7 років тому

      Dalip Bhati this is a cqb weapon which is basically a SMG which will replace mp5 stern etc. It's heavier because it has bigger caliber in use which heads to heavier construction but is also more effective against body armour.

    • @utkarshadhikari5525
      @utkarshadhikari5525 7 років тому

      Dalip Bhati and I said about caliber to explain the reason for heavier weight. It uses bigger rounds and so the weight is bit heavier to some comparitive role weapons but also it is more effective than those.

    • @daljiba
      @daljiba 7 років тому +1

      dear firstly 5.56 is not bigger then 9mm secondly it is still under trials and thirdly i am not criticising the weapon but insisting /suggesting that it must be made lighter , more lethal with better range and hoping the DRDO people read it and make some improvements
